「 Nym Ula 」 The Fantasia Scientist  About
 { All pictures in the large banner are of Nym in different forms due to Fantasia's } Nym was born within the Garlean Empire, however she has long since forgotten that fact, after a number of years ingesting strange chemicals and experimenting on herself as an alchemist, she suffers from some mild long term memory loss. What she does remember, is she was not always a Gridanian citizen, and she had a difficult time entering the conjurer's guild, but, as she will tell you, once they agreed to train her, she excelled. Whether or not her skills in conjury are at a similar level still is debatable. She currently works as an alchemist, out of a small apartment located in the Mist residential district. While she keeps her door locked more often than not, she can be contacted for discrete alchemy orders, or courtesan work. She offers her skills as a conjurer for free. Her alchemy work primarily focuses on the substance known as Fantasia, and she regularly drinks them, changing her body on a whim, as well as her looks. She also works with poisons and claims to have a fully functional love potion on offer for the low price of only twenty thousand gil. Even though her Fantasia experiments have been more or less successful, she refuses to sell any of it, stating that there is far too much that can go wrong, nevermind any regrets someone might have about drinking one in the future. In Nym's early teenage years, before she had fled the Garlean Empire, she was training to be a medicus within the Empire's military force, and was sent on a short training mission near Gridania, where she witnessed how the free people of Eorzea lived. Intrigued and amazed at the idea of being her own woman, she began to hatch a plan to escape the Empire. When the mission ended, she returned home to find that she had been betrothed to a legionary during her absence, and would be married before she even really had a chance to experience her life on her own. By the time she was ready to run, the date of her marriage ceremony was rapidly approaching, and she herself was just barely seventeen. Fortunately no one seemed to be keeping as close an eye on her as she grew up, and she was able to sneak from her home, to a supply depot, and hide within a supply shipment moving out of the Empire, and into free Eorzea. Around her nineteenth birthday, she discovered a substance called Fantasia, and began to research it out of curiosity. Eventually she ingested some, and turned herself into a completely new person, cutting all of her remaining physical ties to the Empire with the change. Scars & Markings: Large scar on her mid back, unknown origins, small scars on her legs, unknown origins. Voice: Usually soft-spoken and slightly high in pitch. Clothing: Very scholarly, long skirts and robes, somewhat loose clothing. She almost always is wearing a strange pair of glasses {Imperial Shadow Visor} that hardly have anywhere to see through. Her wardrobe seems to comprise mostly of black, white, red and blue colors, but pink is not uncommon to find, as well as light purple and greens.
