She regularly uses cosmetics, and usually wears makeup and has her nails done. Personality Psychological Profile Rin is bubbly, positive, and affectionate. She's likely to tackle someone into a hug as a greeting, and then proceed to talk their ear off. Rin operates on a sort of logic which at times leads her to enlightened conclusions, and at times to very poor decisions. Beneath the surface, Rin hurts from a lack of true friendships since her exile, and her positive nature is often a front for deep insecurities about her worth. Rin does not lose her temper easily, but becomes extremely aggressive and emotional when it occurs. Voice Rin's voice is loud, and has the ability to fill any room she's in. She loves talking fast and making conversation with others. Occasionally desperation will creep into her voice, the result of a desire to be liked. History . Disclaimer: . Sixth Astral Era Childhood Rin was born to a very traditional tribe in Southern Thanalan, her upbringing fairly typical. Even in her days in the tribe, Rin was abnormally energetic, always wanting to play or hunt as she got older. Initially well-liked, Rin got along with her tribe for the most part, and was very close to her siblings and cousins. Play-fighting and competitive games were Rin's favorite activities, and she continued with themm well into her teenage years. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Rin's father would be overthrown as Nuhn of the tribe when she was seventeen. Shortly after, she was expected to breed with the new Nuhn - a cruel, violent man. Not wanting to be with any man, let alone one like the Nuhn, Rin refused him, and was violently beaten nearly to the point of death. She bears the scars from the incident to this day, and was left for dead in the desert. It was but only for the kindness of a stranger that she was taken to an apothecary in Ul'dah. Once recovered, Rin began training to become stronger, never wanting to be at the mercy of one like the Nuhn again. Unable to find any other work, Rin would dabble in the city's underworld, offering herself as hired muscle and working at various times as a bouncer, debt collector, and enforcer. Though able to earn a meagre living, she grew tired of the cruelty necessary for her line of work, and searched for work elsewhere, which she found as a personal assistant to an Au Ra by the name of Kiyomi. In Recent Times Moving Forward Since a formal break from her criminal past, Rin has been working as an adventurer with the free company Amber Alyssum, where she has begun befriending her co-workers. Her relationship with Kiyomi grew beyond merely professional, the two entering a relationship and eventually becoming engaged when Rin proposed. Rin is also determined to find a job which appeals more to her mechanical than her combat skills, wanting to eventually settle down and raise children. Currently, however, Rin's frustrations threaten to get the best of her and jeopardize what she has worked towards.

Rin is awed by her divination abilities, and often seeks romantic advice from her. ✖R'hamza Nuhn - The reigning Nuhn from Rin's tribe, and the one who beat and exiled her for refusing him.
