Character

General

R'Shia (Ruh SHEE-ah), sired by Raha Nunh and born in the deserts of Thanalan to the Raptor tribe. Their clan is smaller and much more crude in terms of technology, and generally-speaking their way of life. Though many of their kin advanced with with the world in how they shaped their homes, their weapons, this partiuclar clan chose to remain more primal and wild as they wished to stay with their roots thinking that straying would make them weak, especially when it came to hunting.

Since leaving the tribe, she is proud to say she is one of the Raptors, but would much prefer people just called her Shia without the 'Ruh' at the start.

Appearance

Tanned, almost-golden complexion with a red tint. Her body is slender and lithe, yet naturally muscular with an athletic build and strong, powerful calves to show she can chase and run after prey no matter the distance. Striking, ice-blue eyes that make her appear forever disinterested and bored. The most notable thing about her (and even Shia loves it) is her extremely long lioness tail

Behavior

Flirty, and usually speaking with a honeyed-voice laced with purrings, Shia will talk to anybody and anything, and if you are unable to keep her attention she will very easily grow disinterested as she always looks for the next-best-thing, enjoying the thrill of the 'hunt' to find her next bed-warmer whether male or female.

Thanks to her traditional, and more primal upbringing, her voice is one of the most naturally rasping, grumbling-sounding of miqo'te - but she uses it to her advantage as her prey always seem to be enchanted by her rumbling purrs and rolled 'R's.

Combat

General

If you still hadn't learned to walk, swim, hunt and track by the time you were six, you were useless to the tribe.

Through intense training, Shia had to learn to survive within the clan and to prove herself - there were many unhappy childhoods in this Raptor clan, but the byproduct is that all their huntresses are some of the most fearsome, strongest and independent miqo'te found - which may be why Shia holds herself with much confidence and sees no shame in being brutally honest with her thoughts, opinions... and her body.

Relationships

Family

R'shia Raha was born to R'raha Nunh and R'kalahwi Sazhi, and has a few sisters who don't normally see eye-to-eye with each other, but they would always compete to see who was the better huntress.

Acquantinces

R'khiro Tia - It is never quite sure what these two are, and many people think they are sibling-lovers thanks to their striking resemblance but they are far from that - siblings that is. R'khiro ran away with R'Shia from their clan because he didn't want her taken by the Nunh. Upon reaching the cities they both decided that they should live a full and experienced life with 'fun' being their philosphy. Shia affectionately calls him 'Khi-Khi', or 'Rucky' when he's being naughty. Sometimes she thinks that he loves her and the notion terrifies her.

Yvelont Navarre - The two met when Shia found herself in Horizon, watching the local miqo'te girl dance. The elezan thought she had dishonest intentions, but she tried - casually - to convince him otherwise, even attempting with some effort on her part to get to know him thanks to the interest he showed in her as a person - she thinks - and he kept her interest due to him being the first elezan she has ever spoken to. Shia won his attention easily with her radiant confidence. Yvelont is the first man she hasn't grown bored of and able to tolerate for more than a bell, and she encouraged him to "just 'ave fun f'once in ya life" - and to start with her.

Altansarnai Malaguld - Bored and seeking yet another bedwarmer, Shia met this tall, dark and handsome Au Ra in Ul'Dah's Pearl Lane, and he is the first of his kind that Shia has met. She loathes the power his body has over her that it hurts. However, as dangerous as she feels and knows Akumu is, her interest is frustratingly piqued and she won't leave the au ra man - and his bed - alone.

Enemies

Shia wishes to only make lovers, not enemies.

History

There isn't much to Shia's history for the young lioness is still but a cub. Born in the Raptor tribe, she lived and breathed the ways of the traditional miqo'te life and culture. ever, when Shia was of Mating age and had her other cheek painted to show she was now ready to be presented to the current Nunh of their clan, her childhood friend, Khiro, took her hand and ran. Just ran. As far as they could, as long as their legs could carry them.

Hiding themselves, they visited Limsa for a very short moment of time but for reasons unknown they went to Ul'dah where the two miqo'te have been constantly teasing all the patrons of the Quicksand.
