Appearing more as a child than an adult, Rin stands at a mere 5 fulms, barely weighing in at 90 ponz when wet. Her youthful face, sleepy-looking golden eyes rimmed by aetherically-shifting limbal rings, and underdeveloped features lead one to believe she is much younger than she initially appears. Round face accented by naturally pouty soft lips, her supple cheeks are cupped by opalescent, pale-golden scales that trail back to her neck, down her spine and coiling thoroughly around her stone-grey body. Though as the eye would travel down, it would be difficult to not notice the flat expanse that is her chest, especially when dancing garments are donned, further exposing her faintly toned midriff, thin limbs, and chubby gator-like tail.
Scars & Markings: Thanks to a knowledge of healing and sheltered life, aside from the coiling trails of scales enveloping her pale skin, Rin is void of any and all markings and scars.
Voice: Soft and airy, Rin's voice can easily carry a warm, affectionate register when among those she is close with, or a flat, unamused tone when questioning the intelligence of another.
Clothing: Preferring highly tailored garments fitted for her petite physique made of fine fabrics that won't irritate her sensitive scales, Rin is a lady of fine tastes. When dancing, she most often dons highly ornamented soft silks accented by carefully and delicately crafted golden and silver accessories. Unfortunately, due to her physical nature, Rin is subject to extreme cases of dressing to her environment, seeming to not have any tolerance for the slightest chill in the air, nor for extreme heat. She will either layer in heavy coats or bare skin to ensure she maintains her body temperature.
Curious : A natural researcher, ever curious and driven by necessity, Rin strives for knowledge in all forms. Books, observations, experiments, and notes, few things elude her bright eyes as she is always taking in her environment, thoughts ever-reeling.
Critical : Born to a skilled healer, striving to protect her only remaining family, Rin allows little room for error. a discerning eye and sharp tongue will make distinct errors and lack of effort known, insisting one only strive for their highest potential, lest efforts be of waste.
Haughty : Carrying a confidence enviable to most, Rin holds her abilities to high standards that she ensures that she meets by any means necessary, unwilling to let herself be seen as anything less than the efforts put into her skills and knowledge. Constant spoiling by her elder brother ensures this demeanour is maintained.
Diligent : Refusing to take failure as an option, whenever faced with a challenge or opportunity Rin takes it head-on with full effort, seeing tasks through until the very end.
Devoted : Finding a new form of joy in true friendship and love, Rin would see that no harm comes to those she finds worthy of her attention and cares for, willing to do what she can to ensure their well-being.

Present Days
¦ Recently established within a subdivision of the Goblet in a humble home, Rin can be frequently seen within and around Ul'dah. Either reading, taking notes, or practising her dances, one might come to recognize her at a passing glance.
¦ A self-taught scholar and healer, Rin finds anything beyond her book knowledge a point of fascination. Astronomy and the heavens having become a recent interest.
¦ A skilled healer and aether-weaver, Rin can easily assess most maladies and ailments with a touch of her fingers, and would work through exhaustion to see her patient's recovery. Even within the same room she will be able to detect airs of unusual aether that might give reason for concern.
¦ Does your character have an odd, unusual aether? Through proximity or touch, Rin can sense abnormalities and qualities of one's aether, and will easily become intrigued.

Early Days - Life before Eorzea
¦ Daughter of a skilled healer and renown craftsman, Rin lived a materialistically comfortable life in a small doman village. Her unusual physical characteristics however drew ridicule, victim of cruel bullying, pushing her to become a shut in at a very early age.
¦ After losing their parents to a Garlean incursion, Rin withdrew, becoming voluntarily mute and unresponsive for many years while being supported by her brother Shigure Miyama's mercenary work.
¦ During her recovery, Rin returned to her studies, vastly improving her healing practices, aiding her brother and locals alike with injuries, maladies, and ailments.
¦ Both Rin and her brother were two of the many Doman refugees that had arrived in Eorzea some time ago. She may have acquainted herself to your character during that long, arduous journey.
