Rorongyu stands at a mere five fulms, around average height for Auri women. Her skin is a typical brown with warm undertones, and her pupils are a dull pink made brilliant by the brighter pink limbal rings surrounding them. Her hair is a dusty rolanberry red with pink highlights; it reaches her mid-back, and she can be seen wearing it out or in braided pigtails most times. As a Xaela she has dark-colored scales covering her body. These scales are more prone to shedding off completely around her facial area.
Scars & Markings: Roro is practically scar free- and goes out of her way to make sure it stays that way.
Clothing: Rorongyu’s wardrobe is reasonably varied and filled with clothing from the world over. She’s just as fine with showing skin as she is hiding it, and tends to wear dresses and skirts more than pants and the like. Her colors of choice tend to be pastel pinks or dark purples.
Rorongyu is, above all, a woman invested primarily in her own interests, most of which are rather hedonistic. Despite this off-putting trait Roro is incredibly friendly and talkative with strangers, often befriending many and more on her journeys across the realm.
As she hails from the Kha, a Xaela clan known for their cultural exchanges and learning about societies far removed from the Xaelan norm, Rorongyu enjoys any experience if it means she’ll learn something from it- whether it be a piece of gossip or a new life lesson- and never shies away from hanging out with complete strangers because of this. Her pursuit of knowledge has lead to her thriving in academic settings, and the Kha clan's natural open-mindedness means she has no troubles with adapting to new settings and idiosyncrasies. Unless one has known her for a while, it’s hard to believe the same woman would stab someone in the back if it meant she got a little fun out of it.
While she is rather selfish, Rorongyu does make sure to look after the interests of those she considers friends- and while amicable, those she calls friends, truly, are few and far between, as she considers most acquaintances and associates to play with.

Rorongyu has spent most of her life out on the Othardian Steppe, traversing the lands with her fellow Kha in a constant pursuit of knowledge and discovery. From a young age she was enamored with the healing arts and studied under the tutelage of her mother and father, both of whom had numerous encounters with Sharlayan scholars and were able to pass on all they knew of the art of astromancy. At the age of 15, after much studying, Rorongyu was gifted with her mother's soulstone, and soon after that it was clear that she excelled at harnessing aether from the heavens. At the age of 25, the aspiring astrologian was given the daunting task of unlocking the heavenly gates...and thus her journey across Eorzea and beyond began.
Why stop at just the gates, though? Rorongyu deserved a break, after all. There were people to meet in this new world, places to see, food to eat, and...thaumaturgy did look rather appealing to her.
