Alignment... Lawful Good with Lawful Neutral leanings
San is skinny and slim - though not by choice. She appears emaciated to a point, her ribs visible and hip bones jutting out in an almost painful way. Her eyes are a bright, shining turquoise colour and judging by them alone you'd think there wasn't a thing in the world wrong with her. She is around four feet eight inches tall, making her shorter than a good number of her race and gender but not improbably so. San's hair is naturally tones of turquoise, ranging from light to dark. Her scales are abundant - a fact she loathes, along with the horns which fan backwards away from her face.
Scars & Markings: San has many small scars. Scuffed knees, small cuts and grazes, and scarring from previous tussles are all quite a common feature on San's body. She has a few larger scars to speak of as well, namely on her hands and arms, all inadvertently self-inflicted by missed swings with a Tachi or other bladed weapon.
Voice: San has a pleasant, lilting voice with a heavy Hingan accent. Her voice is often hoarse and scratchy due to lack of proper hydration.
Clothing: San wears whatever she can get her hands on. Hand-me-downs, things which don't fit properly, usually in tones or shades of brown and black because the dirt doesn't show quite so much on those colours... Given a choice and some money, San would rather wear finer clothing. She has a special hatred for traditional female Hingan dress however.
San used to be pretty happy-go-lucky - and sometimes that still shines through the layer of dirt on her face, but not often. Her demeanour is generally morose, though that isn't a shock given her circumstances. She lives with a lot of deep regrets for someone so young and it shows on her face and in the way she acts. San will often try to avoid confrontation and fighting, going so far as to apologise for other peoples' mistakes just to resolve a situation.

Both San's birth mother and father disowned her when she was seventeen for being too 'unruly'. Co-head of a noble house in a small town on the coast of Hingashi.

The head of a rival noble house who took San in when she was disowned, with the promise of training her to become a Samurai. She had an affair with his son, (who had a family of his own and is a number of years older than San,) and her former master sent her across the sea to Vylbrand as penance.
Sakurai is the son of Saito which San had an affair with. She isn't sure of her feelings towards the man anymore, or if she'd even want to see him again. (Please note, I am looking to make this a PC connection! The character's name and status as an NPC will change if that prompt is ever filled.)
