A Hyur that was transformed into a Lalafell. He now seeks a cure to his curse.
Sandalphon was born as a bastard son to a wealthy father. His existence as a child was practically nothing due to his mother's low status as a commoner and concubine. His job in the family was to be a servant to the more prestigious children, born to his dad's primary wives. Eager to impress his parents, he did his job with pride but was continually ignored by his dad. For years this continued, festering hatred and rage inside the young man, before he could take it no more. Sandalphon chose to run away from home when he was 14, seeing as his only value was as an object rather than a human being.
Sandalphon made do by selling the various services he learned as a servant - however it was only just enough to keep him from starving. It was then he met a certain someone who would offer the young Sandalphon a deal he couldn't resist.
For an excruciatingly large amount of gil, the certain someone he had met, a sage practicing their craft, would physically change the young Sandalphon's body. Without any hesitation, he agreed to the deal, and Sandalphon was turned into a Lalafell.
"Once you are worthy of your old body, it shall be yours once more. You may use any other methods to break the curse too - if they work that is." With that, the sage disappeared, and a much shorter (though richer) Sandalphon was left all alone. With not much else to do, he left for Eorzea, in hopes of being able to find a 'cure' for his curse.
Sandalphon has medium length dark brown hair, somewhat messily brushed to be kept out of his eyes. As a hyur, he stands at a mere 5'6 (171 cm). Closer examination of his facial features show that his eyes are a piercing red, his irises on the smaller side. He has a slender jawline and rather lengthy eyelashes followed by some red eyeliner to accentuate his rather small eyes. His eyebrows are thin and end up portraying his gaze as mischievous or somewhat annoyed.
His body is slender and slim, his skin a pale brown showing nearly no imperfections. Combined with his already effeminate features, he often times gets confused as a girl, much to his chagrin.
As a lalafell, many of his features remain the same, though a bit pudgier compared to his Hyur body. The clothing he wears often depends on his mood, but he greatly adores robes and decorative accessories.
Sandalphon's attitude mainly consists of a lack of animosity towards most people and situations, followed by his lackadaisical nature. Despite this, he has a strong sense of honesty and is surprisingly pragmatic.
As expected upon first impressions, he's rather calm and a bit of bore at times. He has a polite demeanor but does not let it get in the way of him having a good time. Sandy is a little bit jaded, mostly due to his time in his Lalafell body, though he still enjoys conversations and joking around when the opportunity presents itself. He has a strong love of teasing and annoying others once he's more familiar with people, often finding amusement in the reactions he gets out of people. He is quite prone to being teased himself however, and can easily get nervous, flustered, or embarrassed depending on the situation.
He has a strong pessimistic and cynical side due to his childhood experiences, though tries to make sure this side of him doesn't surface too often if at all. Even if he is a bit more trusting than the normal person, he's also just as quick to doubt them as well. Sandalphon has a hard time getting past simply being friends, afraid of opening up and showing his vulnerable side to people, mostly due to his relationship with his father and how little social experience has, and how afraid of being judged he is.

Sandalphon's mother who was a concubine to his father. He adored her very much and in turn, she doted on him whenever he could. She passed away due to a sickness that was terminal.
A girl who rescued Sandalphon when he was having a rather unsavory encounter with a stranger. Though the two have only talked a few times, they bother share troubles concerning their bodies. He wishes to speak more with Eiai one day, but he hasn't had the chance to run into her lately.
