General Information
Hair & Eyes
Sieghart has striking, crimson eyes and jet black hair, typically worn long and swept back but shaved around the ears.
Physique & Markings
Sieghart has a very muscular build from years of combat training and performing labor-intensive grunt work as a slave. In addition, his entire back, his arms and his sides are covered in primitive, tribal designed tattoos "gifted" to him by a patron of the bloodsands in Ul'dah that he might appear more bestial and ferocious in his fights.
Hygiene & Attire
Sieghart picked up on a few of the bathing traditions of Hingashi in his time spent there. He bathes frequently and is generally clean, although avoids perfumes and scented soaps. His choice of clothing tends towards looser fits and lighter fabrics. He is not opposed to fitted clothing and gear, so long as it allows him full freedom of movement. He has never worn chain mail or plate armor, but views it as too cumbersome to be effective.
Personality
Psychological Profile
Cruelty = Some
Loyalty = High
Passion = Some
Piety = Low
Sanity = High
Selfishness = Some
Voice
Sieghart typically speaks in a low tone of voice and will often skip the pronunciation of hard "T" sounds. He rarely lets his emotions show through his speech unless he's around those he considers friends or family.
Philosophy & Mannerisms
Actions always speak louder than words, for Sieghart. He rarely takes someone at their word and, more often than not, assumes people are spinning falsehoods until they act upon them. He's not great at small talk and would much rather get to the point of the matter at hand, often making him come across as very blunt in nature. He speaks whatever is on his mind and rarely holds back.

Strength: A life spent performing hard labor for his family growing up, then imprisoned, then enslaved has allowed him to build up immense strength and endurance. Heavy loads and long distances are no obstacle.
Carpentry: He's recently found carpentry to be a rather simple craft which, having grown up on a ranch where they had to make most of their own equipment, comes as no surprise.
Combat Abilities
Built like an Auroch: A character with this ability may add +2 to a 2d6 roll, or roll 2d20 and pick the highest for a roll that involves feats of strength and endurance.
Peerless Fighter: This ability adds a +2 to attack rolls. Critical strikes only trigger on a natural roll of a 12 before modifier. (Does not stack with Bloody Minded)
OOC Note

Early Life - Pre-Invasion of Ala Mhigo
He never had a chance to know his birth parents. His father had disappeared before he was born and his mother died soon after his birth. She’d made her way to a rancher’s home and shortly afterwards went into labor. She lived just long enough to name her newborn son Sieghart.
Most of his early years were uneventful. Despite not being born to them, Bertan and Lina Gaeleron, owners of the ranch, took the newborn Sieghart in and raised him as theirs. They had never been able to conceive children of their own, so they viewed Sieghart as a gift from Rhalgar himself. That’s not to say life on the ranch was easy, but it was home for the young boy. The family lived too remote to see much trade and education was minimal at best. Sieghart learned enough reading and writing to get by, but was never one for literature of any sort. He preferred physical labor over books anyway.
They had had a few ranch hands come and go over the cycles, but most of the time it was just the three of them trying to scrape out a meager living in the remote wilds of Gyr Abania. Bertan and Lina taught Sieghart as much about the history of their people and land as possible, but such lessons were few and far between. He was warned about the cunning elezen of the Black Shroud and the treacherous Lalafell of Thanalan. They told him stories of the dastardly pirates of Limsa Lominsa and the deadly machinations of the Garlean Empire to the north. He took those lessons to heart and oft prayed with his mother and meditated with his father afterward..
Being located between the border of the Garlean Empire to the northeast and Ala Mhigo to the southwest, the Gaeleron’s ranch was one of the first territories to fall to the invading empire. The ranch was remote enough to be spared most of the turmoil of the mad king’s fall and they would occasionally hear word from a lost merchant or wandering trade caravan, but seldom would any militiamen or soldiers make the venture that deep into their box canyon. A fact that suited Bertan and Lina just fine, but as Sieghart got older, made him begin to develop a sense of wanderlust. A feeling that was more than satiated when the forces of Garlemald arrived.
Garlean Invasion of Ala Mhigo
The first signs of invasion began just a few suns before ground forces arrived at the ranch. Massive ships passed over their canyon home, but nothing came of it and the Gaeleron’s thought the worst of it had come and gone. That is, until the ground units arrived. Bertan bid Lina and Sieghart flee southward while he occupied the Garleans, and the two made their way through an underground cave network that led out the back of the canyon and emptied onto one of the old trade routes used when Ala Mhigo was the gateway to the east. Bertan promised he’d meet up with them there, but neither would see or hear from him again.
Sieghart and Lina continued to make their way southwest, toward the borders of Gyr Abania, using the cover of night to shield them from the ever growing presence of Garlemald forces. A tactic that worked for a time, until Lina took ill and Sieghart was forced to venture out alone in search of medicine. He searched the wilds for anything he could use to treat her ailment for nearly two suns before being captured by a Garlean patrol and marched to a labor camp near the southern border. He’d made numerous attempts to flee his captors and make it back to his mother's side, but none of his plans bore fruit and he never saw her again.
Life at the camp was hard, but it wasn’t anything new. He’d grown up working hard labor at home, so that was never a problem. In fact, he’d often outlast most of the others being kept there, which he figured made him valuable. So, he kept going. He pushed himself to his limits to make sure he stayed valuable. It was clear the guards didn’t have much respect for those they kept watch over and he still held out hope of seeing his parents again, so he had to survive this.
Moons had passed by the time it happened. Sieghart had been on his way to the fields to start another day’s shift when an explosion rocked the camp followed by gunfire that seemed to come from all around him. He dropped to the ground just in time to dodge a cloud of shrapnel the flew just ilms over his head. At first he thought there’d been an accident at the ceruleum storage tanks, but that didn’t make sense with the gunfire. He stayed low and crawled his way behind a low lying rock, using it as a shield to glance around. Once he’d realized what was actually going on, his jaw nearly hit the floor. There it was! His chance at last! All his attempts at escape had been complete failures, but now someone else had broken in first!
In the midst of the chaos, he eyed the hole in the wall surrounding the camp and dashed for it. He ignored the screams and the cries. He ignored the bullets whizzing past and the explosions. The only thing he focused on was that gap. Several others were running with him and, every so often, one of them would drop. He knew what was coming should he stop now. His life was now forfeit here and the only means of surviving lie before him on the other side of that wall. So he ran.
Bells passed and only a handful of others were still with him when he collapsed from exhaustion. He’d done it! He survived.
Ul'dah
It took them nearly six suns to make it, but finally his caravan arrived outside the gates of Ul’dah. Sieghart marveled at the towering parapets of the city, having never seen such a large settlement before. As he wandered the city streets, Sieghart was captivated by the sights and sounds of the place. Merchants hawking their wares, folks of all shapes and sizes perusing the stands and people in general wandering this way and that. He was so lost in this new, foreign environment that he’d not noticed the guards approaching. They grabbed him by the arms and led him back to the city gates, promptly throwing him to the ground. He was at first confused, but soon learned that refugees from Ala Mhigo were not welcome here.
Several moons had passed and little was done to aid the refugees now living in camps surrounding the gates of Ul’dah. Some stayed and some ventured further into the desert, seeking refuge at a camp being called Little Ala Mhigo. But Sieghart had other ideas. He’d never forgotten about all the supplies and foodstuffs laid out on the market stalls he’d passed on his first foray into the city proper and, upon meeting a few other like-minded individuals, made a plan. They would sneak into the markets and pocket whatever they could find to bring back to the camp. They figured they could either sell it or use it. Either way, something had to be done.
The group tried for many suns to pocket whatever they could and, so far, their plans had worked! If they needed it, they could usually get it. Sieghart remembered what his parents had said of the Lalafellin of the desert so he knew this was going to be the only way to get what the people in the camps needed. But, he’d never thought it’d be so easy to just take it. But, he eventually found out why.
One day a buyer arrived at the camps seeking something Sieghart had managed to pinch just a few suns prior. Upon seeing the trinket, the buyer called out and Sieghart and his band were suddenly surrounded by Brass Blades. A few of them tried to fight, but were slain on the spot. The rest of the group, Sieghart included, were taken to the dungeons below the city streets and locked away where they’d remain for many cycles to come.
For quite some time, Sieghart had to learn to redefine what it meant to survive. Upon arriving in the Ul’dahn prison, he was nearly beaten to a pulp. He found out the prisons were already quite full and that the guards barely paid any mind to those that had been locked away. Especially those from Ala Mhigo. The ability to fight was vital to survive in this environment and, while not the most proficient in the art, Sieghart learned and used his brute strength to overcome any skills he might otherwise be lacking.
Somehow, after defeating several opponents in the dungeons, word spread of Sieghart’s fighting capabilities. The fights came easy to him and the more he fought, the better and better he got. Due to his tendency to land several strikes and bloody his opponents before they ever struck him, a title began to spread. Sieghart the bloody fisted was what the other prisoners began calling him and over time they shortened it down to Bloodfist.
Once word of a prime fighter had spread from the prison to the upper echelons of Ul’dahn society Sieghart was pulled from the prison to fight in the gladiatorial rings of the city. Racking up more wins than losses, Sieghart’s name began to spread. As it did, he began receiving newer and better gear, equipment, food and lodgings. None of it was particularly great, yet for him it was extraordinary. But, it wouldn’t last.

IC Inventory
The following items are things that this individual carries on their person at all times. These are noted for pickpockets, and those watching her closely. This information is meant to be a prompt for insight and is not to be meta-gamed, though feel free to use this information if it comes up logically in RP (pickpocketing, a search, etc) with use of a simple /tell.
Coinpurse: A simple coin purse made of soft leather, containing a few hundred gil.
Knife: A small, nondescript knife that's easily tucked away into the lining of a boot.
RP Limits
I like to consider myself a flexible player who is willing to commit to a number of different types of scenes and role-play scenarios, but even I have my limits. If something is on the play list, assume it means yes, as long as it's within the context of the current play or ongoing plot. No's are typically a hard no, and it means don't ask.
I will play adventure, casual (slice of life) and exploratory RP.
Ask about long or short-term romantic encounters/relations and long-term, short-term or permanent illness, injury, or affliction.
I won't play sexually explicit material or permanent character death.
RP Hooks
While the below is by no means comprehensive, it's a kind of spring board for walk-up RP. Longer plots that are meant to run for more than a few quick RP's, please feel free to send me a tell so we can work out a good reason for our characters to get to know one another. I'm always looking for RP, unless I'm actively spamming PvE content.
