Rikku has light pink hair with lavender highlights that fall into two braids in front of her face. Her eyes are a soft aquamarine that stand out under all the bright colors. She normally wears a tight white hempen top partnered with a lavender rose attached to a ribbon on her wrist, lavender colored shorts, and pale white flats. On her forehead she has a unicorn horn attached, which is why she is known for being a unicorn, it is a light lavender to accent her hair, and most of the base is hidden behind her bangs. Rikku is a keeper of the moon, so she has large round eyes that shine against the moon, and her tail is the shortest of her breed, and has a lavender tip. Her nails are normally cut short from her excessive biting when she's nervous.
Scars & Markings: Rikku has some pale scars that garnish her back and a few unruly scars on her legs from branches and her klutzy nature.
Voice: Rikku's voice is high pitched like a child, she normally stutters when she is nervous, and barely talks around new people, or in group settings.
Rikku is young at heart, and acts extremely childish, never wanting to grow up and needs to be coddled or cared for more tenderly than the average people. She becomes attached to people and objects rather easily, causing a lot of struggles and abandonment issues when she's left to her own devices, but also leads to immense loyalty to friends and companions. She is delusional, which is why she calls herself a unicorn, and has even tricked her own brain into thinking that is a the last of her kind, and would get into a heated argument with anyone who would try and convince her of the truth.
Rikku is loving, and kind, which makes her get along alarming well with small children and animals. She does have trust issues and acts on them some times, lashing out at people for no reason when she feels like she has been wronged, and her emotions can dictate her responses to situations, having her seem to “not be acting her age” (she acts the approximate age range that she feels, but it may fluctuate and isn't a concrete age because it's just an estimation based on her needs and emotions). Her Emotions can be sometimes extreme, (silliness turns to brattiness or sadness turning to anger) but, when made to feel safe and secure these emotions often can be leveled and controlled, but then again Rikku only shows her childish side to certain people, meaning she acts different was to people, depending on how much she trusts them.

Rikku met Thancred along her Journey, she felt extremely attracted to him, as he was the first man who had ever tried flirting with her. She developed a crush on him and started following him around until she saw how he treated ll women the same, and it ultimately crushed her heart. She still gets butterflies when she sees him around Eorzea, and stops to say hi, but it's been awhile since she has seen him, and she worries about him constantly.
When Rikku arrived in Gridania she was directed to Carline Canopy, where she met Miounne. Having no food, no home, and was completely alone, Mio took her in and treated her like a daughter, and helped Rikku get on the right path.
Living in Gridania Rikku met Y'mihitra, and was fasinated by how she taught summoners to summon egis, thinking they were like a pet. She asked Y'mihitra if she could teach her the ways of summoning, and when the seeker denied her, she was upset and tried to do everything in her power to try and mess Y'mihitra up out of spite. One day Rikku went too far on a prank and ended up hurting herslef in the process and then Y'shtola came to her, healing her wounds then was convinced to apologize for her actions. Rikku then apologized to the sisters and then asked to make it up, taking on quests for the two and helping them out until they all became friends. Rikku was upset when Y'shtola had to leave, but remained by Y'mhitra's side.
Rikku met Saito in Gridania while he was staying there. He was cold and uncaring and wouldn't pay her or anyone any attention at first but then with her constant annoying him, he finally gave in and acknowledged her. Her kindness and innocence captivated him, and they soon fell in love. Saito has a need to protect her, and keep her away from the corrupt world and to also keep her to himself. He is harsh and hates everyone, causing him to rely on Rikku for support only lets her in, and would kill anyone who lays a hand on her. Saito is gone normally for long amounts of times since he is a dark knight, and is not willing to take her with him, afraid that the void would easily corrupt her, causing Rikku to be alone for weeks or months at a time. They eventually got eternally bonded, making sure that no matter what happens, he'll always love her, and will always protect her, and Rikku promising him to always be his, and to try her hardest to become strong for him.
