Therouanne is a fairly tall Duskwight, standing at 7' 5". He has a slender and lanky build, with lean muscles more adapted for speed and agility rather than brute strength. His body is riddled with signs of disease and years of malnutrition, and as a result, is rarely seen without wearing full body armor or attire. His teeth are also in poor condition, with several teeth missing and replaced with artificial gold teeth. Born with naturally snow white hair he was often teased as a child for his foreign appearance, and so uses alchemy to change the color to a very dark black. While his facial hair is also black in color, his body hair, however, remains white.
Scars & Markings: A deep scar runs from the center of his forehead, over his right eye and ends just beneath the cheekbone. He is completely blind as a result of the initial wound. Another scar runs along his left jawline, and one just barely visible crosses his lips. A very large, deep scar curves around his right shoulder blade up and across his chest ending just below his pectoral muscle.
Voice: Deep and raspy.
Clothing: Thero prefers to wear light armor, mostly made of black leather and thick cloth. His style is on the darker side, mostly black attire. He is fond of gold accents and wears a solid gold septum ring.

When Thero was at the very young age of 6, his mother died during a brutal winter storm. Caught off guard by the sudden weather, she dug a pit in the snow, placed Thero inside, and used her body to shield him from the elements. Though she lost her life, her ultimate goal of his survival was her last accomplishment.
Juifodaux was separated from his wife and son when accusations arose that he was involved with heresy and thus committed the murder of an official. These charges were later dropped, but out of fear, he had arranged for a family friend to aid in the escape of his wife and son from the city. He planned to return to them once the air had cleared, but by then it was too late. He never found Jateone's body and never found Thero, no matter how hard he searched. He assumed that Jateone had left him for good, or so he had hoped, rather than the worst outcome... their deaths. He later left the search, and left Ishgard all together, returning to his home city-state of Gridania, where he currently resides.
When Juifodaux relocated to Gridania, he eventually remarried and had another son by the name of Ciceroix. Ciceroix had heard from his father, very little about his *assumed deceased* brother. As an adult he later found Thero and reconnected him to their father. Though his relationship with Thero isn't the best, he has no ill feelings towards him and works to improve their relationship.
Silvairre was born and raised in the wilds of Dravania. He was the member of a family group of hunters who roamed the lands from the coast of Sharlayan territory to the ends of Coerthas. It was this family group who stumbled upon an orphaned Thero and took him in. Silvairre went on to form a deep and meaningful relationship with Therouanne, and they later announced their partnership when Silv was 22 and Thero 19. A few years later a Dravanian horde had scorched the land, fire consumed everything in their path. The family group's camp was among the burned and destroyed. Silvaiire and Therouanne were spared, they had left on a fishing trip and avoided the incident entirely. With nothing left for them in the forelands, they decided to aid in the war against the dravanians and left for Ishgard. When Thero was 23 and Silvairre 26 they were assigned in protecting a shipment crossing through Coerthas when another Dravanian attacked. Therouanne lost his right eye, Silvairre lost his life.
Yolaine Derinloire, of the Derinloire family Jewelers, is an Ishgardian woman who lives and works in Ishgard. She met Therouanne while attending a friend's party and quickly developed feelings for him. They have a complicated on and off relationship, never quite devoting themselves to each other for more than a few nights at a time. Her feelings for him can range from love and lust to despise, mostly because of his promiscuous behavior.
