Monker/Nicknames:

₪ Shtah: While remembering living as a member of a tribe, Shtah has spent most of his life living out of it. Therefore he doesn't really ascribe to using his 'birth name' fully. He's also a rather casual individual- so dropping the V' is right up his ally.

₪ Jack: A nickname gifted to him by his crew, due to Shtah being a "Jack-of-All" trades. He highly prefers being called this, as it's a name that is entirely his. One not connected to a family he hardly remembers.

Residence:

An apartment in Limsa Lominsa that he shares with Nergui, a male xaela who is also part of the Murder of Crows. Currently, he is trying to save up enough for a house so that the two of them have more space to grow.

Childhood

₪ 28th Sun of the 5th Umbral Moon 1548 S.A.E

Jack was born V'shtah, second born of his mother and the then Nuhn, in the reaches of Gyr Abanian where their clan had made their camp.

₪ 1557 S.A.E | Age Nine

Ala Mhigo falls to the Garlean Empire. Over the next year Jack witnesses the effects of the occupation on the people around him.

₪ 1558 S.A.E | Age Ten

His clan made plans to escape Gyr Abania into Gridania’s borders. Indeed, they even made it far before being discovered by Garlemond forces. The clan split apart, spreading in different directions to give the children the best chances of making it to safety. His sister was fourteen at the time. Together they made it to safety within the borders of the forest, but no matter how hard they tried they never were able to find if anyone else did too.

₪ 1560 S.A.E | Age Twelve

Jack's sister(16) joins the Culinarian's Guild and gains a job that pays well enough to get them off the streets. Jack starts becomes something of a runner in the underworld of Limsa, ferrying packages and letters across the city for extra coin. Also at this time, Jack becomes friendly with a number of the 'Dutiful Sisters of the Edelweiss' and picks up a number of tricks from his 'Big Sisters'.

Teenage

₪ 1562 S.A.E | Age Fourteen

Becomes further entrenched with the Sisters and the Lominsian underworld. Tension between his sister(18) rises as she meets a well-to-do merchants son that she fancies. She disapproves of his involvement in 'unsavory' elements even as it helps pay for their way of life. This goes on for a period of two years, before finally she marries him.

₪ 1564 S.A.E | Age Sixteen

Without saying a word, his sister marries her beau and leaves without saying a word. Unable to afford the apartment on his own, Jack once more ends up on the street. Eventually, he takes up a flirty personality and uses his looks to entice others to take him to bed just avoid sleeping on the streets when he can. He learns a lot. At his point, he also officially starts taking jobs for the Sisters and honing his skills.

₪ 1565 S.A.E | Age Seventeen

Jack makes his first kill. Slaver scum, but another person all the same. He doesn't return to Limsa or touch his daggers for three years. Instead he joins the Pugilist Guild in Ul'dah, making coin on the side by entertaining those who could pay his price.

Present

₪ 1568 S.A.E | Age Twenty

He returns to Limsa, going back to his work with the Sisters. Killing no longer has a strong effect.

₪ 1572 S.A.E/S.U.E | Age Twenty-four

The Battle of Carteneau happens.

₪ To Date | Age Thirty

Joined the newly created privateer crew The Murder of Crows on a whim, meeting a number of particularly interesting sorts through it.
