[edit] Details Personality Rumors Gallery OOC Notes GENERAL INFORMATION Ytta Schatten is a sorceress, antiquarian and archivist that forms one of the halves of Schatten & Schatten, an excavating company created in the interest of pursuing priceless relics and important pieces of Eorzean history. The youngest daughter of the witch Ydna, a clever woman whose ingenuity and cunning saw her safely from wartorn Ala Mhigo and delivered into a lucrative position among the Ul'dahn nobility, she stands as the heir to her family's fortunes and seems committed to occupying a similar place. Despite that, she has garnered a reputation for an insatiable lust for adventure, discovery and indulging herself in unorthodox pursuits most noble-minded citizens find unbecoming for a lady. APPEARANCE A becoming young lady of noble birth, Ytta arrests attention with classical beauty given distinction by melancholic flair. Her fair features are reminiscent of the cunning of a cat: arched brows, high cheekbones and a straight nose taper to a soft chin and full lips that seem loathe to part with the provocative curve of an entitled smirk. Her sable hair is cropped to chin length in feathery layers and parted so that it obscures one of her pale green eyes. A dusting of dark powder at her lids, a cat's eye in kohl and reddened lips draws the pallor of her clear skin into stark relief. Ytta favors suppleness over slothfulness but is slighter than most, standing ilms shorter than the average but more than making up for it with impeccable style and feminine appeal. The oftentimes strenuous practice of magic, while evidenced in the exhaustion that occasionally weighs upon her shoulders and removes her of her charms, has not robbed her of the blessing of sleek curvature and the keen ability to present herself with noblesse oblige. There is some notion of an entirely shameless love of sweets in her ample bosom, round hips and soft thighs. Though prone to wearing fabrics of brocade or velveteen in ebon or jewel tones, Ytta's sense of fashion intersects between elegant and expensive. Well-tailored blouses are accented by corsetry that pulls in tight at her waist, exemplifying all ready generous proportioning, and are cut low enough to hint at a scandalous peek. Short flowing skirts barely brush the tops of high heeled boots, and lacy black gloves and stockings peek from her wide sleeves and at her thighs, accentuating a collar of similar design set with a lovely green crystal at her throat. No matter where she goes, she is never without an expensive wide-brimmed cavalier's hat stuck by a glorious golden chocobo feather. Aspects That Stand Out: ■ Scent: Ytta wears a sweet floral perfume oil of orange blossoms and irises rubbed onto her wrists, throat and breast. ■ Jewelry: A worn family ring upon her left hand is among the most prominent of her pieces for its masculine design. ■ Foci: The crystalline foci that dangle from her ears, neck and wrists surely have greater use than mere decoration. ■ Runes: Her skin is covered in thin runic scarring that seems to serve as the basis for how easily her magic is channeled. ■ Beauty Mark: She has a very cute little freckle beneath her left eye. PERSONALITY A precocious, coquettish woman of little patience with a flair for dramatic indignation, Ytta is most often described as a neurotic debutante by those who mislike her or an intriguing prodigy by those who do. Early aptitude has blessed her with a kind of confidence that can be hard to find, but alongside her lofty expectations and unrelenting ambition has come condescension that could best be pinned as a lady's arrogance tied to the impropriety of a risk taker. Above all things, she values competence, ambition and usefulness - as a socialite and an explorer always looking for the next exciting discovery by delving deep into ancient ruins or prying stories from even the most hardheaded of conversational partners, her capability to appear the charismatic hostess to those with something to offer is unsurprising but almost entirely focused upon personal gain.
