Magic is his passion to the point that it is not unusual for him to off on some dangerous, stupid quest to discover the truth behind an ancient spell only noted in folk lore, or for him to spend days without rest whilst in the middle of magical research. ■ Alchemy: Secondary only to his love of magic is Zozomaru's love of alchemy; specifically the creation and improvement of Ether. It's not uncommon to find Zozomaru working on, discussing, or testing a new Ether formula. ■ Women: Zozomaru is a relentless flirt, and is known to have a great many female friends. Of course, his flirting is harmless; but it's rather common to for him to surround himself with woman whenever possible. ■ The Void: Zozomaru seems to have some sort of affection for the Void and it's creatures. In fact, he's been known to say that Ahriman and Imps are cute, and should kept as pets instead of banished back to the Void. One look at his room would tell someone all they need to know about his interest in them. Dislikes ■ Water: Specifically, Zozomaru is not great fan of the ocean. In his own words "It's big, it's deep, and it's full of things that want to eat me." ■ Ignorance/Arrogance: As one whose life has been dedicated to the acquisition of greater knowledge, those who are blinded by their own ignorance, and refuse to open up their minds, tend to be people that Zozomaru just cannot get along with. ■ Overly Loud People: Even though Zozomaru can often be found people watching in a place like the Quicksand, people who are too loud quickly get on his nerves, and he will go to great lengths to avoid them. Quirks ■ Oschon: Zozomaru wandered the world for three years before ever stepping foot in an Eorzean city, and it was another twenty-eight years before he finally settled down and called somewhere home. When he speaks of these travels, he often mentions a personal relationship with Oschon, the Wanderer. In fact, he claims to have been given his title of 'Wanderer Extraordinaire' from Oschon himself. ■ Using Magic For Mundane Tasks: Whether a product of his accumulated knowledge, his age, or a general laziness; Zozomaru is known to use magic for the most mundane of tasks-- paying for services, giving out link pearls, holding objects he just doesn't feel like carrying, and much more. ■ Elusiveness: Zozomaru never truly gives insight into his past, his work, or even his magical abilities. Instead he tends to talk around those subjects, never quite giving definitive answers or explanations. ■ Weak Sense of Smell and Taste: Zozomaru has a weakened sense of smell and taste. He claims to have lost most of his ability to use those two senses over twenty years ago, he never has explained why. NPC PC Roroko Roko ( ♥ ) - Close Friend/Possible Crush A lovely, fun, and very easy to make blush Lalafell girl that Zozomaru came across at a party one evening. She's one of the very few that Zozomaru's flirting with might actually be serious. Nucoraux Mibvinge ( ♠ ) - Business Partner Zozomaru's partner in acquiring Razortalons. Though they're nominally friendly, most of their conversations inadvertently end in arguments, especially over the proper use of alcohol - unless there's a more fitting target for their verbal ires. U'kijah Fijh ( ♦ ✔ ) - Fiance of Nucoraux/Employee Zozomaru played a vital role in U'kijah and Nucoraux's engagement... namely he teamed up with her to torment Nucoraux relentlessly until he finally gave in. Additionally, she works as a rare materials acquisition agent for Razortalons. Merimu Razortalon ( ♠ ) - Indentured Servent The original person whom Zozomaru and Nucoraux bought the company from, now indentured to Razortalon itself. Zozomaru often forgets that Merimu exists, assuming whatever tasks he's assigned are just 'done' through indeterminable means. Alexaria Whiteraven ( ♦ ) - Close Friend Zozomaru relentless flirts with Alexaria, often telling people that they will marry when she "finally comes to her senses." While this, of course, is not true; Zozomaru does care for her deeply, and considers her a dear friend.
