DEMEANOR Fiona is a tiny thing, but she doesn't act like it at all. She might be fun-sized, but she has a 'better than everyone' sort of attitude which more than makes up for her small stature. Fiona tends to 'keep it real' in conversations, expressing what others try to tip toe around in a very blunt manner. This doubles if she is intoxicated. Most times, when talking to peers in the medical field, she may try to 'one up' them or act like she's better at what she does than them, but if she's genuinely interested in what another can teach her, she is eager to learn from them. When working, she is level headed, motivated and extremely proficient at her job. When not, well. She's a hot mess. HISTORY Childhood Fiona's childhood was very dull compared to the childhoods of others. She was born very sick, and so she was in bed, resting often. By the time she was eight she already had up to five surgeries to correct her issues since it was found out that Fiona is immune to any sort of Aether-based healing. Her father would take many blood samples from her to test her conditions, seeing if there was any sort of 'cure' for her conditions (heart, and aether-resistance), leaving her weak most of the time. Due to having little to nothing to do, her father's co-business owner Baern Ravanelle would provide Fiona with textbooks to read to study up. When Fiona was nine, her mother died of a heart attack. And when Fiona was eleven, her father appeared to have taken his own life, though the details on his death are fuzzy. Baern Ravanelle took Fiona under his wing, beginning to train her in the medical sciences. By the time Fiona was twelve, Baern took a... special liking to Fiona. And not being the most stand-up guy, started feeding Fiona pills, taking advantage of her in ways that most girls her age shouldn't be taken advantage of. For the next eight years, she would life a life of study, drugs, and inappropriate happenings. Despite it not being the most glorified of lifestyles, and pretty sucky from an outsider's view- Fiona was happy. And she was smart as heck. She soaked up every bit of knowledge that Baern could offer her, and became an extremely proficient medical doctor. She was kept safe during Dalamud's fall, and after she was allowed to go to Ul'dah to a refugee camp to volunteer to help the wounded and dying. It's where she got most of her hands-on experience. Transitions When Fiona came of age to finally take stock in her father's company that Baern had been running since his death, Mrs. Ravanelle became increasingly interested in Fiona, looking into her more to try and find a loophole to remove her from the company so her husband could gain complete control. During her investigation, she discovered her husband's indiscretions with the young woman and demanded no matter what he should have Fiona banished from the premises. Kicking and screaming, Fiona was escorted away by security. Getting no pay, nothing from the company, she lured Baern into a trap in order to slice him open and steal a kidney from him. Just because she could. A New Life Fiona got by with the money she stole from Baern when she had lured him to steal his kidney, but that wouldn't get her by for long. She was homeless, living in Pearl Lane with all of the other vagrants. Normally someone of her size and shy disposition would be eaten alive in the Lane, but she provided free medical care to the others there in exchange for protection. She was left alone, for the most part. She did odd jobs here and there to make money to pay for Somnus and manwhores to keep up with her years of degradation. She wasn't giving it up. One day, Fiona found an advertisement that the Harbingers of Dawn were hiring, so she went there. Got a job. Got a lab. Found the atmosphere... (To Be Continued) I N T E R A C T I O N S N O N - P L A Y E R   C H A R A C T E R S Isabella Cooper- Mother A kind woman that had a hidden secret. When she was young, she had an affair with a highlander and gave birth to a boy, who would become known as Gorbaltz of the Nine Winds. She kept this a secret from her husband and daughter. At the age of 25 she got very sick, having an unknown heart condition. She died at the age of 28. Eddard Cooper- Father A highlander, shorter in stature. His actual last name was Boarsblood, but wanting to be taken seriously in the medical community, he decided that this surname was not appropriate. He changed his last name to 'Cooper' after his occupation he had as a lad, putting together wooden barrels to hold wine. This was to be taken seriously as he started his new company, Cooper Enterprises with his best friend, Baern Ravanelle. Gorbaltz of the Nine Winds- Half-Brother He came and found her after discovering from his father that his mother had remarried and had another Child. Fiona never seemed to trust him, despite allowing him to join in on her business venture with Red Duck. Due to his erratic and dangerous behavior, Fiona saw him as a risk to her operation and her livelihood, and asked for him to be killed, which he was. She regrets this decision to this day, but will play it off like it had to be done. Miakoda Boarsblood- Cousin Upset that Eddard had changed his name to be more 'respectable,' his side of the family never really kept in touch. Furthermore, because Fiona was a very sickly, quiet child and Miakoda was... well... not, the two never really had a good relationship. C O M PA N Y   M A T E S Gwannes Oskwell- Owner of the Enemy A close friend from the estate, though there has been some tension between the two at times. First, when she got involved with his number one enemy, then when he discovered she had assisted in a murder and was selling illegal drugs. They try to push through all that and remain friends anyway, and she appreciates him being around even if she doesn't ever tell him so. She is his number one doctor of choice, and he is a good sparring partner, short of him kicking her in the face that one time. He owns a disgusting cat that she is determined to eat for dinner someday. Edda Vincents- Best Friend Her best friend in the Company, and 'boss.' As they got to know each other, Edda declared that Fiona is family, which Fiona is very surprised about. What that means to her, who knows, but she'll take it. It's not often she finds someone that is a true friend. Fiona wants to be able to help and interact with Edda more, but finds herself on the sidelines a lot due to her inability to interact with Aether- which is about 90% of Edda's business. Oliver Amaranth- Kindred Spirit At one point in time, Fiona gave him a new eye. From a kobold. Every once in awhile she checks in on him to make sure he doesn't suddenly feel like summoning Titan. Their friendship so far has been intense... Doctor Ozerov- The second best Doctor ever. A fellow medical professional that Fiona has come to respect. They enjoy performing surgeries together and eating on top of the patients while they're passed out. He has also helped her through her most recent drug detox. Krayas Arthas- The Suave One A company mate that she has recently befriended. He is new, and they just happened to bump into one another outside of the Estate. They went on a little trip to a brothel together, where Fiona ended up taking too much drugs. He carried her back to the estate and got her help. She is grateful for the kindness that he has shown her despite the state she was in when they met. Vakliar Akumala- Anger Management Trainer Friend in the company that is teaching Fiona how to deal with her anger issues and calm down. Teaches her lessons in screaming, shouting, airing grievances, meditation, and socializing. P L A Y E R   C H A R A C T E R S Red Duck-The ex. Her former business partner. He approached her about selling her drugs, Orchids and Yellow Fever. Gifted her with property in Thanalan to use as a lab for production. Soon after, he was the first to legitimately claim her heart, but recently he seems to have disappeared. She is attempting to not be bitter about this, but it doesn't seem to be working very well. Andvari Laveer- The Dancer. Her favorite man-whore of choice. He's a great dancer. Armantiel Xavielan- The Scholar She met him in a brothel while they were both attending a circus cabaret performance for their friends. Their friendship is new, and already somehow very complicated.
