Distrustful of Devin after a case of mistaken identity, Raniall seems to keep her at a wary distance, and she’s all too happy to do the same. Still, her sister is fond of him, which gives her reason to reconsider. Raniall is often accompanied by Hammer, a faithful canine companion. ✖ Nomi of the Malaguld - This Xaela accompanied Raniall Lightstone in his attempt to arrest Devin in a case of mistaken identity. Devin’s escape seems to have opened a rift between them, as the Xaela’s attitude toward her remains chilled. ✔ Rhuli'a Kanjun - Her sister’s employer, the Keeper is a braggart and a charmer. Devin isn’t certain she trusts the man, but his charisma isn’t lost on her. She finds herself curious to know what he’s about. ✔ Shining Feather - Skylar's best friend, or so Devin’s been told. She’s yet to meet the woman, but if Skylar holds her in such high regard, she surely likes her already.
