Character

She was born in a small village out in the Sagoli desert of Thanalan with her brother and mother, A old knight of Ishguard lived in the village and would tell her tails as she did chores for him and she did them happily. She was often sound making a rocket at night by making her own training around with target dummies for her home made arrows and smacking them with her wooden sword and a from beam she claimed was a spear. Living a life in the sands wan't easy for her kin but she lived along side Hyur, Elezen and other Miqo'te, often times her village was over looked by the invading war having no reason to be attacked and travelers of all kinds would come there to simply look for work or sell there wares. Tana and her brother would spend the days searching the sands for treasure to dig up or monsters to hunt when they where only the age of 8, It was normally a bomb shell or some merchant forgotten junk but as they got older there finds became more and more rare and impounding from the days of small works and a broken Drake hide to a full dead drake for the village to enjoy a night of meat and a old chest full of old jewels they could sell for water and clothes.

But then the day struck that the world was destroyed, Bahamut returned from his moon prison as Tana and her brother watched from a far off cliff, the world and her village burnt away in ash that night. The following day her brother had vanished leaving the camp she had made in her village ruins soon she herself left gathering all of her made weapons and a set of leather armor she had made from drake hide at the age of 17 her life started anew. She headed for Ul'dah and for a while she was only street rabble, stealing coin and robbing vendors for food an coin she then got enough money to buy a real Spear and Sword after only three months in the city she demanded to be let into the Immortal flames days on days of her yelling at the recruiters telling her she had no reason to join due to her being well known as a crook by the guards of the City the flames turned her down. For days she waited just outside never moving and before finally Raubahn Aldynn told her to pick up her blade and to challenge him in the arena, the two fought for not very long Tana being a unskilled and self trained warrior she lacked the skill Raubahn had and the duel ended when she was smocked to one side of the arena but Raubahn told her to head to the flames and get dressed of a patrol upon asking why she showed her a small sword cut on his arm, she had struck him and that was all he wanted for her show of skill.

A year had passed as she was in the City and the word was still recovering Tana's skills as a fighter had grown with her Sword and spear though she has gained the ire of Flames recruits seeing as she enjoyed solo patrol and was more brash and reckless in her attacks, Once she had her night off she over her a few flames talking about her as she scuffled being a box to hear she over herd them talking of her skill and how they wished ill on the miqo'te and wanted her just to be off with the clans in The Shroud so they would no longer be dealing with her. Taking this to heart Tana soon left the City state with tears in her eyes ad her bag on her back she left for The Shroud, long was her journey but she quickly made a name in the woodlands defeating bandits and poachers in the woods and as well being the most fish loving Miqo'te out there she arrived in the City-state, the first thing on her list was to be recruited by a local Lancer master a old Elezen when fancied the bars and women alike then his own guild after a she begged and bowed before the master as well as a close encounter of the rump kind he agreed to train her and train he did for the next four years. After she was well adjusted to Gridania she knew she had to take on a job and her Master agreed and told her of the Twin adders as they would be perfect for both her training and her duty. As the years past Tana grew stronger in mind and body the Elezens training was harsh on her body but Tana did not fancy herself makeup and frilly dresses as most girls her age instead she focused on her body making her stronger faster and the best fighter she could be but her Master grew weaker an older with age and before she knew it he was on his death bed he had become a father to Tana one she had never known before and he saw her the same way as a daughter, before his final breaths he told her of the Dragoons and that he "long left the war" in the north but they could make her stronger with a Lance then he ever could and that she must seek them out to finish her training, Tana agreed an just in the final moments watched as the life left his eyes and he peacefully passed on with his one and only daughter.

After a night of sobbing she had laid her masters body to ash and spread him among the trees watering them with her still flowing tears all before she packed her things and was never seen for a long time going to the North. Now a months later she had returned but not to Gradania, she quickly left when asked why she had a new goal, to become a weapon master and take on all art on the every planet they stood on.

After a few years durring her training Tana masters many hysical arts of Sword and Shiled, Axe, Lance and Knuckles. When the Heros of light where banded heros however Tana was missing from the party, It was later revealed she has been fighting on the Ishguard front fending off the Dragon army though when found she was heavily injured. The Twin adders had sent a small force with Tana leading the ranks due to her being one of the few Dragoon in there company but on arrival the dragons ambushed there team and all where slain but not Tana. Feeling a duty to see to the end Tana saw it upon herself to keep fighting alone as a one women fighting force she did so for 3 weeks before scumming to famine and dehydration and a dragon broke her arm and took to the skys with her in its maw, after a small struggle she managed to free herself but the fall injured her breaking both her leg and sending bits of her shattered armor into her skin. She was later rescued hours later but a infection has set in on her skin, being treated to a point she could be carried she was led to a hospital.

After a few month of recovery Tana was no better to fight then any green horn fresh out of training but she insisted she had to make for Ishguard hearing rumors of the Heros of light being spotted in the city. While she did not find them other Dragoon noted her of her spear and armor and welcomed her into there ranks after a time learning what she could and a new set of armor Tana was read to go out and begin fighting again. A month later Tana appeared again but this time with a stone eye in her right eye, while she is not shy about speaking to others about it others have told her to keep it a secret and tell only those of what it is.

After a few months of training her skills Tana felt she was ready to return to Gridania and the Adders. After returning she had to explain to her betters what had happened to her squad and what happened in the battle. After telling them about her eye the Adders became cautious around her knowing all to well what dark magic can do but after some battles Tana began to note the eye helped her kill and find demons more effectively then most and the drinking of there blood by the eye did help in many ways other then her own eye. With this Tana jumped in rank to Captain and while not in command of a official squad unit in there ranks when the time called she could gather a group and become a Anti-demon squad, wile not official it was comprises of many specialist who had perfected the hunting and killing of demon and void creatures a like. Tough rank was not all Tana gained her lover now proposed to her, though the effects of her last lover still haunted her she took the band hoping for a new beginning much like her life seemed to be going.

Behavior

She is quiet the flirty yet harsh attitude, often times she is looking for a fight or a place to eat or find a job. Always willing to help those in need no matter how small the task even taking on a bagged delivery job in Gridania but she does not work with clean blades as she is also know for taking on mercenary work for mass amounts of Gil. She does not seem all that interested in men when it comes to flirting often times refusing to them as toy's and enjoys the company of a women for her nights.

Combat

Her combat skills are very diverse due to the fact she trained to become a weapon master but her strikes are fast and powerful using her lance with the fury of a dragoon and her knuckles with the done crushing force of boulders. Often times she will seek to defend someone but she does not shy from a friendly duel those if the battle is hard she can lose herself in her own power and strike without mercy. Her axe play has been seen to be very common for defense fighting using massive axes as shield rather then a weapon.

General

Tana has a very odd way of speaking replacing I and Me's with Mew or Mew's as well as replacing You and You're with Nya, in her own words it is due to her lack of education at a younge age and being self taught though now she does have a proper education she seems to be unwilling and unable to separate this way of speaking.

She is well know for being a very lovely looking girl bust most only seen the light scars on her face due to her wearing so much gear, under her armor and cloth lies the body of a warrior well toned muscles every one defined enough to be seen and layered on that is a heavy set of scars from countless fights her back is nothing but scars from a fight she called "The hundred blade dual". She now keeps a mask on for reasons only she will give saying that her trust was betrayed and a mask helps ides the pain and confuses those who see fit to betray her.

Relationships

Family

• Mother: Unknown (Even she has lost memory of her) The small memories that she remembers of her was having Ruby hair and a sent that the hot sands could never dry out like a summer flower. Memories of her old sword sitting under a window next to her needle and thread and noon meals still stay in Tana's mind but her face is washed away.

• Brother: Skuai Firesong: A hot headed Miqo'te with Black hair who always pushed his little sister around. He was slower then his little sister but he could out think her fooling her into his many pranks. He was with is sister and helped her guard the village when they where on guard duty and helped her in hunts even though Tana liked to hunt alone. On the day of the calamity Skuai blamed Tana for the piece of the prison that fell on there village and ran away from her after he had punched her, three years later he returned to kill her with is spell book but Tana had been training hard and ended up stabbing his threw the heart. He died at the age of 21.
