[edit] Character Character History Timeline Recent History Relationships Weaponry and Equipment Pets and Companions Rumours OOC CHARACTER Name Been given a most unusual name compared to most Seekers, Bexy's name follows no naming convention or pattern well-known throughout Eorzea. Her name was given so, to further her from any sort of tribal connection; something her parents were desperately trying to flee from. The X's and Y's and other uncommon letters prevalent in both the name of herself and her family lend themselves to her Seeker heritage. Her surname, however, is a different story. Upon arriving in the Shroud, her parents decided to create aliases to better conceal themselves. They looked to the surrounding area for ideas, and thus took the name of "Amarissaix's Spire". This was was so chosen for her fathers love of flowers, being vaguely close to an Amaryllis. Thus, her surname is Elezen in descent. Appearance Long, dusty black hair tumbles over her shoulders, the majority of it bunched into a plait that lies on her back. Her hair has an almost icy sheen to it, and it frames her face in elegant, wavy locks. Icy blue eyes, once a vivid shade of amethyst, are set, shaped elegantly on her face, having been seared by aether. Her flesh is pale, unusually so for a Seeker, which she attributes to her birth in the Shroud, her cheeks touched by the stripe-like markings common of many Miqo'te. Her figure is lithe, curvy akin to many Miqo'te, but well toned from cycles of combat and training. She also stands taller than most Miqo'te women. Her long tail often slinks towards her ankles, the very tip of it holding the same hue as her hair. Upon her body, she only has but two scars. One is far more prominent in certain attires, settling between her fourth and fifth rib, of a knife wound. The second is an inky-black scar, settling beneath her wedding ring. This was placed there upon Max's proposal to wed her. Her attire is very varying. She favours darker colours, often mixed with reds and blues, in elegant and fancy design. It is very rare to find her in anything someone might consider plain, and even if this is the case, you can guarantee it will be dressed up with boots, gloves and jewelry. Short skirts and high boots are a favourite, and she is often seen in a long, black coat. She's most fond of the Limsan fashion. As for her accessories, she is rarely seen without being adorned in them. She favours silver over gold, earrings with flowers, jewels and other niceties. She doesn't often wear necklaces, unless they are loose, and bracelets are situational, most often wristlets. Her body remains unpierced aside her ears. One thing always remains a constant, mind. On her left ring finger, a wedding ring sits. Silver, with an almost blue-ish hued stone, not of diamond, but aetheryite. This allows her to be at her Husband's side, and he, at hers, in a heartbeat. Her father a wandering Tia, and her mother a runaway Huntress, the duo deigned to settle down, away from Thanalan, and in turn, tribal life as a whole. The couple concieved Bexy's elder sister a mere few moons after setting in the Shroud, spending most of their time within an encampment within the southern reaches, named Camp Tranquil. However... The peace was not to last. Slowly, her mother became more bitter, and her father's urge to wander was unable to be denied. After a tumultuous handful cycles together, the couple parted on negative terms. Time passed. And upon a passing visit of her father to see her sister, the old flames that the couple still had for one another burned again, for but a single night. Without reason, he left, the next morn. Mistakes were made, and as a product of this, the huntress concieved a second child, as a result of that encounter. Bexy. CHILDHOOD The years of her childhood were... Neglectful at best. Her mother had made it clear since from when she was able to comprehend reason, that she was -not- wanted. And so, young Bexy spent most of her time trying to keep out of her mother's way... Or worse still, trying to gain her favor. She didn't understand why Zarya was loved, and she was not. That isn't to say, however, she never experienced any sorts of care or attention. Zarya was still fond of her, and even then didn't understand her mothers cruelty to her younger sibling. The two spent small, fleeting amounts of time together, offering Bexy a small semblance of comfort where she could find it. Until her mother twisted her thoughts, too. Slowly, and without reason, Zarya began the same path of distaste and cruelty towards the young Seeker. It came as far less of a blow. She began staying out later, venturing to more dangerous places. She didn't want to stay home anymore. But she couldn't leave... TEENAGE YEARS Things began to look up for her, as she grew older. She had found talent in archery, having been honed by a kindly Elezen that had taken her under his wing. She had taken up the longbow, having seen many of the others practise their training within the camp. Alongside this, the ways of the world and a crude, if not informal education followed. She was taught to read, to write, and to speak proper; much to the redicule of her mother and sister. But with her age, came curiosity... She flourished with every moment she spent from home, and withered with every second she remained. She had to leave. She merely needed to find it within herself, to do so. LEAVING HOME And here... Where one can be found, the other is likely not to be -too- far behind. They have endured the Hells together, and she'd do it all again to keep it that way. The source of much of her joy and happiness in life, woe betide any who might seek to harm him. Whilst some might consider them an odd couple, she'd have it no other way, despite the differences and changes they have had to overcome. ❀●❧Z'sisha Tyata : The eldest of Bexy's adopted daughters, Sisha was one of the first to truly break Bexy's more... Reserved exterior. Albiet, with a hug. Sisha seemingly clung to Bexy since their first meeting, a little more hesitantly on Bexy's half of things, but it eventually blossomed into platonic love for the girl. Quirky, happy, often with a -mass- of pets following her, this girl brings cheer seemingly with every bouncy step she takes. Although she was a Seeker when they met, circumstances arose, revealing she was Au Ra all along. This has not affected their relationship in the slightest. ❀●❧Reiko Takahashi : The youngest of Bexy's adopted Daughters, Reiko is certainly one of a more inquisitive mind, more often drawn to her father due to their shared interests. That said, immense pride is shown from Bexy to Reiko for her achievements. They met within the Kindred, Bexy eventually taking Reiko under her wing as she transferred to defense. Since then, Bexy had looked to the girl like a daughter, and in turn, Reiko taking her on as a mother, having many of the conversations you'd expect for the respective roles they play in eachother's lives. Although she too, was a Seeker upon first meeting, Reiko was an Au Ra by birth. Still, this does not mean she loves her any less. THOSE WELL KNOWN ❀●❧Lulula Lulu : A young Lalafellin girl Bexy had originally met with the Kindred, the bond between the two of them flourished when Bexy took her under her wing to train her in archery. She looks to her with a motherly sort of love, and is fiercely defensive of the child. As she grows older, Bexy sincerely hopes Lulu still looks to her for guidance. Having been deprived of her father due to a circumstance with Bexy, she feels an enormous amount of guilt for the young girl's situation. ❀●❧Mara Lynne : Sister. Pain in the backside. Friend. There are -many- things Bexy would say about Mara, and even regarding the abrasive disposition of the woman, still stands with her to this day. Mara, having originally worked beneath Bexy when she ran Defense within the Kindred, started off with a measure of distaste towards eachother. This however, withered, giving rise to a deep friendship. Bexy would stand by Mara, regardless of her stance on her life choices... And cut her down, if need be. ❀●❧Videra Svenay : The Azure-Hyuran woman has caught Bexy's interests for more than one reason; and certainly more than just a collegue within the ERA household. Beneath her cold exterior, Bexy sees a hint of familiarity she isn't all-too willing to admit. They share the same lust for battle, and the same approach to such things, too. A confidant, friend, and bodyguard to Bexy, she holds this woman in high regard. In addition to this... The woman reminds her sorely of someone once close to her... ❀♒●❧Rei Wakeflame : The two met -cycles- ago, when Bexy thought the Miqo'te an intruder to the Kindred. Evidently a false alarm, and nothing more than a misunderstanding, Rei took up employment and was enlisted into the Defense division under Bexy. Along with her, they have since left the old company, and Rei is now residing within the ERA household as a member of the company. She trusts him to stand with her, such is true... But cannot help but be a little wary of the Voidsent he harbours. That said, she has no reason to act against her, and as such, the stance is unlikely to change. ❀●❧Nicole Desborough : A bubbly, peppy, Magitek-Genius of a Midlander who practically stumbled her way into Bexy's life, and in turn, the company. Bexy seeks to provide what she can for the young girl, in ways of guidance, especially of the more difficult times in her life. She sees a lot of herself within Nicole, parts of her long forgotten. Her idealism, and happy-go-lucky attitude to life gives an infectious aura, and a smile is oft at Bexy's lips should she be present. That said... Nicole is one of her greatest confidants, knowing more of her than many. She is deeply thankful for those shared moments, and does hope there are many more to come besides. ♒●Ausaux Grimand : Bexy met the Elezen under... Unusual circumstances, of which she will speak to no-one of. She finds him a little more peculiar than most, but this only endears him to her further, more through curiousity and gratitude than aught else. The man looks out for her, and in turn, she would do the same for him. However... She does find some of his methods a little... Unsettling, to say the least. Not enough to strike any sort of ill will against the man, mind. INSERT PICTURE HERE ♒●Zaiaku Kurai : Without a doubt, one of the more curious people she has met. The two met on the streets of Ul'dah, and later, after a small agreement, she let him a room within her home. Mayhap as a gesture of kindness, or something more, there is a mutual respect between the two. She has since made efforts to speak with the man, with varying degrees of success, finding a lot in common between the two. However... She is still unsure of his true intentions. Regardess, he as only aided her, never hindered her, giving her information regarding whispers she would not of otherwise heard, and occasion, his blade at her side in combat.
