Appearance

Generally a tall lalafell though often difficult to appreciate due to an increasing tendency to slouch, usually helped by being almost constantly in the presence of other two, shorter lalafell. Her movements denote a lazy, calm demeanour of someone who either has little to worry about or not a lot to look forward to, which is also accentuated by her choices in fashion. To most she's found almost entirely covered in black and white clothing in an obvious attempt to remain unnoticed, walking quietly from place to place and avoiding needless interactions like a wandering ghost, when breaking from her hermit habit is of utmost necessity. Said clothes can also range from high house attire to all sorts of religious garb meant for worship. Also normally visible darting out of her fingers are elegant long black nails as well kept as her sometimes visible purple hair, arguably her most attractive feature, being fairly long and well cared for and definitely the main feature that could inform you about her gender. The ears, while typically hidden are also quite long and this allows her to fill them with all sorts of earrings and the like. Most of this works together to give her a "mystique" feel that is normally never broken, at least until she begins speaking.

Contrasting with most of this is her actual visage, a face overrun by tribal-ish markings of who knows what ages past, baggy blackened eyes hinting at someone who is a stranger to sleep and an overall sickly look commonly found in those deprived of food. Her eyes, while beautiful, give off an odd feeling where her naturally purple tones are contaminated by a slightly bright red, product of most likely an abuse of the aetherial arts. The last noticeable features would be the blackness of her lips, being it dyed or natural it's not entirely clear, and the traditional dunesfolk forehead ornament. Her skin tone still remains a healthy dunesfolk cocoa brown though it's not clear how she can keep herself from being paler, her lifestyle considered. In short, get her during a really bad day, and you could confuse her for a zombie.

In home or private situations she's not so afraid to showcase much more of her laziness and lack of care for things, meaning almost anything can be expected to be worn there, as out of place or ridiculous it might be. It can also be revealed that she hides two scars from gunshots in different places of her torso, one around the belly and the other near a lung, and a few leftover slash wound marks on her back caused by something different than claws. At this point, her religious take on life is made clearly apparent when the amulets that hang from her neck also become visible, though they typically are a collection of various ornaments of also very diverse origin: from fangs to symbols of the Twelve, to personal mementos all tied around a few strings.

Behavior

As an eastern sage once said, every person has three different faces to wear in different situations and Koko would be no different. The first face is the one the rest of the world sees: the face of someone who would rather run away from the natural course of things in this world, keeping her interactions to strictly business should they occur. In the rare case of said interactions going a little deeper she shows herself as a cold, distant and distrustful individual with a pre-determined negative view on most things. Not one to mince words, it's not strange for her to rapidly result offensive to other speakers in casual conversations, having a habit of saying things as she sees them, no more and no less, and to look for the ways to undermine and humiliate other people's confidence when enough information is available. All of this adds to her solitary situation, though her actions hint that all of it is intentional, sometimes even being glad of things going the way they do. What becomes really clear from this side of her is that she values reliable knowledge, a drive to discover said knowledge, and in the same way shuns ignorance and intellectual conformism.

The second face is the one only a very few ever see, and currently only two people are fortunate enough to be considered among them. Here is where she feels comfortable and safe, revealing herself to be a calm and homely person who enjoys being left alone and at peace, things both simple and sophisticated, who reads and writes and ponders about the Twelve, philosophy and the meaning of life and other various things of this ilk. Beyond all of that though lies the self-improving will of someone who is aware of the certain possibility of being the head of the family, one day. As such she pampers and spoils those closest to her perhaps too much, at least when she's not enthralled by her most recent obsession, which causes her to remain locked in the same place surrounded by books, looking for something not even her knows well enough. This can go for days, giving way to an intensification of her sickly features. Overall, it's obvious that here she is among those who make up her entire life and as such, she would sacrifice a great deal to keep them out of harm's way.

The third face is the one she only shows to herself.

Should better times ever come, she hopes to one day consolidate his place with her in a proper ceremony.
