Because of this, she usually lacks even a hint of makeup, and the raven-black tresses that crown her head are usually tangled and barely brushed. Her face, when not half-hidden behind a haze of hair, is round, open and radiating an innocence of purpose. Dark freckles spatter her tanned cheeks like countless flecks of paint, and round eyes shine like emeralds under a pair of thick eyebrows. ___________________________________________________________________________ Body In contrast to her face, the Hyur sports a slim, willowy figure. Her skin, already darker than most Lominsans through her Thavnairian and Ala Mhigan heritage, is further tanned from countless hours spent under the sun. Despite her slight frame, there’s some definition to her muscles and her hands are calloused from years of labor. ___________________________________________________________________________ Clothing Admiah is never more comfortable than in a set of practical, sturdy clothes - the more worn the better. Having come into some wealth as an administrator for her company, however, the Hyur has made an effort to wear more expensive clothes when doing otherwise might hurt the company’s appearance. Reds and browns are among her favorite colors to wear, but recently Admiah has taken a liking to purple for her business clothes. ___________________________________________________________________________ Personality Compassionate Caring for others’ lives is what gives worth to Admiah’s own. If there is something, anything, she can do to ease another’s burden, Admiah works hard to see them through their trouble, be they friend or stranger. ___________________________________________________________________________ Pacifist For the longest time, Admiah shunned violence altogether. To her, nothing justified harm from one person to another, and developed the instinct to hide or run from a fight than confront it. Though she still abhors it, Admiah has learned through practice and experience that, sometimes, there is no other option than to raise sword or spell so that others can continue to live in that peace she so desperately wishes would fill the entire realm. ___________________________________________________________________________ Diligent A youth spent tending to a farm and an adult life spent astride her chocobo,to deliver packages all across Vylbrand has left an unshakable sense of duty in Admiah. Whatever she is tasked with, the young Hyur will do everything in her ability to see it through, especially if it means the betterment of someone else. ___________________________________________________________________________ Uneducated Everything Admiah has learned has been informal. From simple lessons taught by her parents to a degree from the College of Some Bloke In the Pub Told Me, she has picked up a rough-and-ready education that puts her a step below anyone who spent their young life hunched over books. Despite this, she has an endless appetite for knowledge, developing a stronger grasp on the world’s workings every day. ___________________________________________________________________________ Skills . ◢Chocobo Handling-★★★★★ ■Years spent raising her chocobo, Binky, as well as taking care of others’ horsebirds has given Admiah a great deal of experience in tending to them. She can be trusted with handling all but the most violent chocobos, and is familiar to many tenders in La Noscea and the Black Shroud. ◢Mercantile-★★★★☆ ■After the Calamity, Admiah has learned through her time as a courier and, more recently, as an administrator for a trading company on how the merchant business works. She is a reliable person to conduct business with. ◢Housework-★★★☆☆ ■ Running a company mansion has given all the more for Admiah to keep in order. While she’s not alone in her efforts, Admiah has learned a few tricks of her own in keeping a home from looking like a beastkin’s den. . ◢Bladecraft-★★☆☆☆ ■The first of the combat skills Admiah has decided to practice, the Hyur has spent a great deal of time learning how to use her rapier. She’s gained more confidence with the tool, but still has a long way to go if she ever plans on winning against a true duelist. ◢Thaumaturgy-★★★☆☆ ■It took a long time for Admiah to muster the will to summon flames, but ever since she’s discovered an innate talent in spellcasting. She still has much and more to learn about destructive magics, but she can be relied on to bring them to bear when danger looms. ◢Conjury-★★☆☆☆ ■Conjury is the most recent of Admiah’s skills, but unlike Thaumaturgy she’s been advancing at a rapid pace. She’s already capable of curing simple wounds and will doubtlessly overtake her skill in thaumaturgy soon.
