Orientation... Pansexual, but favors men (miqo'te in particular)
Marital... Seeing someone
Deity... Nymeia
Nationality... Sagoliian
Occupation... Provisioner and part-time cook for the Hidden Pearl Inn
Alignment... Neutral Good
Height-wise, he's on the lower end of average for a Sunseeker miqo'te. He has heterochromatic eyes - an amber right eye, and grey/silver left eye. He's limber and fit, though he's not optimally physically conditioned like full-time warriors. He loves to swim and jogs daily for his hunts, so has something of a lean swimmer's physique (basically, the in-game miqo'te model suits just fine). His hair is fair with strawberry tips.
Scars & Markings: Markings under his eyes. Faint, but noticeable scarring along his forearms, chest right under his collarbones, and back.
Voice: He's usually fairly soft-spoken, but his tone is warm, welcoming, and casual for the most part. He has an airy, gentle quality about his voice, which falls in the tenor range. Something like Sakurai Takahiro's Cloud voice.
Clothing: Tasteful and fashion-conscious when he can afford it. Even in hobo clothes, though, he makes an effort to look nice.
I'ason's sire, at first glance, did not appear to be a traditionally-imagined nuhn. His strengths were not in power and martial prowess alone, but in his charisma and pragmatic leadership. In combat, he was more reliant on dexterity and wit than strength. He was also almost childish and, at first glance, seemingly irresponsible. He loved his clan, however, and dearly, including the meek and oft-ridiculed I'ason. He was killed during an Amalj'aa raid.
One of the fiercest warriors in their clan, I'ghrane was a jovial miqo'te who loved spars. She was neither large nor overly muscled, but still had remarkable power. While not the best-equipped mother, she still loved both her sons dearly and did her best by them. She set out with a few warriors in a last stand against the Amalj'aa some moons after the attack that killed I'mharyus and never returned.
I'ason's uncle and I'mharyus' younger brother. When the brothers were kits, it was believed I'rhasmus might end up a nuhn, as he displayed more traditionally valued characteristics for a male Seeker: steadfast, true, dutiful, and an unflinching warrior. Often, his counsel kept the more-flighty I'mharyus grounded. However, it became apparent that, while I'rhasmus was easily able to subdue other tias who challenged him, his interest lay in the field and protecting the ancestral sands and not in breeding. He had set out on a scouting venture against the Amalj'aa about a moon before their tribe was dealt the final blow, and never returned.
Ihme'a didn't start out as bitter an acquaintance as he'd become. In fact, he and I'ason were close friends during the Seeker's early days in Ul'dah. That all changed, however, as Mameha had a penchant for pitting her 'little worker bees' against each other for favor, and Ihme'a became spiteful and resentful of I'ason when the Seeker made the decision to go after customers the Keeper had asked to be his. Recently, Ihme'a escaped his persistent fate in Ul'dah, indirectly thanks to the efforts of Senelle to release I'kaya.
With his reputation in Ul'dah as a kind and charitable elezen from good money, Ancois is known to I'ason as someone much darker and painfully difficult to resist.
A Sunseeker with a beautiful soul who did not belong in Ul'dah - at least this was I'ason's thinking during his time knowing her. She was the head chirurgeon of the infirmary he was told to visit for health needs, and the two gradually fell in love. Steady, calm, and wise beyond her years, she was a rock for the tia through some of his darkest times. The two didn't end up lasting for reasons beyond either of their control.
During his time in the Twelveswood, I'ason happened to get picked up by a ragtag group of Moonkeepers. Initially, the group had meant to chase I'ason from a hunt he'd bagged after breaking all the customs of Shroud-hunting, but, upon realizing the Sagoliian Seeker was truly in out of his depth in the forest, they ultimately allowed for him tag along with them. Rijo'tan, who held a hatred for Seekers, was initially resistant to the notion, but eventually softened after seeing I'ason was teachable. He was wholly unprepared, however, for the wayward Seeker to take a liking to him. Ultimately, Rijo'tan and his group parted ways with I'ason on friendly terms when I'ason decided the Twelveswood was far too rainy and thundery for his liking to make into a home, and on he continued to wander.
It was either between Siobhan or Ainle under whom I'ason would work. With her assistance and encouragement, the Seeker was able to find a physical home with the 81st, as well as work slowly toward greater potential. He views the hyur with great respect, as she is highly skilled in all manner of things he had no clue about such as finances, blackmail, and bookkeeping. Siobhan made a re-entrance into his new life at the Hidden Pearl Inn chasing a ghost that re-emerged from the histories of the 81st, but soon after, seemed to disappear. It wasn't until receiving a letter moons later that I'ason learned Siobhan had, shockingly, passed.
I'ason's older brother who watched over and protected I'ason as a kit and traveled with him for a while after their family dispersed. Recently, I'ason learned that I'kaya had 'abandoned' him some cycles ago to pursue Amalj'aa so that they would not threaten the younger tia. In his pursuit, I'kaya had been captured by slavers and sold to a ludus associated with the Ul'dahni Coliseum, where he was forced to fight under the guise of loyalty to the ludus. He was freed from his fate by Senelle and reunited with I'ason. (One of my alts)
By chance, I'ason saw Zimmi causing a ruckus in the Pearl's yard by refusing to take the offer by a patron to bathe. Finding her vaguely familiar, he attempted to speak to her only to find her extremely skittish. She did, however, leave him with the hint that she knew the Sagolii, prompting I'ason to attempt to leave care packages for her outside. A subsequent meeting within the Pearl during Half Price Pints solidified his suspicions that she was, indeed, from his home tribe in the Sagolii. His hope is to continue trying to bridge the gap with her.
I'ason met Althani in a tavern at the port in Vesper Bay. The two boarded a ferry and arrived in Limsa Lominsa together, where they both eventually found and joined their respective Free Companies. While they didn't spend much time together as they got along with their companies, eventually, Althani became a lifeline for I'ason when he found himself without a 'tribe' again. I'ason has been and is currently learning a modified form of Astromancy from the Xaela.
Izari Fanlith( ♥ ♥ )( PC ) - Close Friend and Former Coworker
Izari was recruited to the 81st after I'ason, and the two, both being relatively new to the company and being noncombatants, quickly formed a friendship. Driven to assist the militaristic 81st to the best of their capacity, they've become partners in hunting, provisioning, and packing the best lunch boxes in Vylbrand! Since being discharged, Izari, like Althani, had been instrumental in keeping I'ason on his feet. As with N'rhaya, I'ason admired Izari's city-oriented skills of bookkeeping, weaving, and business. Her skill in clothesmaking feeds his soft spot for fashion.
One of the first allies of the 81st to welcome I'ason, Senelle wasted no time offering to teach the Seeker how to improve his reading and to get him writing. It didn't take long for her to become a teacher and almost mother figure to I'ason, as she was wont to do with many, he eventually learned. With her wisdom and support, I'ason learned to grow his definition of 'home.' While he regards her as a woman with a strong core, he does sometimes sense a loneliness about her he relates to, and tries his best to actively keep her in his life.
Ainle Goldpaw(♥ ♦ ♥ )( PC ) - Former Supervising Officer
While I'ason reported to Ainle, theirs was an odd relationship, as Ainle was chief of innovations and I'ason has.. 0 skills in technology or innovations. Nevertheless, the two seemed to be fine with that. I'ason, trying his best to do SOMETHING to support his assigned division, at least collected crystals as potential power sources for whatever Ainle built and created. He also tried to make sure his boss didn't overwork himself. Following discharge, both Sunseekers had not seen each other until a chance meeting at the Pearl, following which the two embarked on a tumultuous journey exploring where their relationship could go, finding, ultimately, it had to end.
The two encountered each other through a chance meeting in one of the settlements out in La Noscea driven by I'ason's eye for shiny things. Dressed in rather lavish and luxurious robes, the Keeper that I'ason found possessed a personality just as silky. Intrigued, or perhaps seduced, by Kira's refined mystique, the Sagoliian bumpkin enjoyed feeling like he was learning a thing or two listening to all the smart words about magic and such from the Moonkeeper. He was also extra pretty to look at. Staying stubbornly with him, however, the Seeker found something within the cool vanity - something true and vulnerable - that he was loathe to leave alone.
Usually slow to warm to people he considers authority figures, the miqo'te was fairly quickly put at ease with the innkeep as their interactions proved that Tansui was not only a warm-hearted Raen who loved both his inn and the people who helped run it, but was even a bit of a dork at times. Assured he had the innkeep's friendship, the tia now happily tries to do what he can for his boss.
It took a while for the meek I'ason to not be intimidated by this battle-loving Xaela (previously known as Verdant Field). An acquaintance carried over from their days in the 81st, Gan and I'ason - who were about as far apart on opposite ends of the spectrum as people could get - finally got to 'connect' following a harrowing event that left her half-dead. Though he could do little directly to assist her, he did call upon those who could and helped look after her in the infirmary following the incident.
The two initially met as staff member to patron at the House of the Hidden Pearl Inn, but as they got to talking, I'ason found Sieghart seemed to come from a background not unlike his brother. Sharing sympathy with the highlander, when the miqo'te learned he eventually found him freed from his slave collar, he offered to shelter him and, later, helped him find a home. He's hoping to help Sieghart discover the joys of life outside of slavery and oppression.

■ I will play mature content and themes (violence, sexuality, drug / alcohol use) as long as they're logical in a plot-driven encounter. Coarse and excessive language. Temporary injury and incapacitation. Temporary imprisonment. PM me before initiating a walk-up encounter, or I might panic and hope you think I'm afk and leave. Social anxietyyyy /o\
■ Ask about long-term and/or permanent injury and disfigurement. Long-term captivity or imprisonment.
■ I won't play permanent character death, anything mature-themed with players under 20. Nothing against players who may be more mature than their age; it's more a personal thing for me, since I work with young'uns ages 5-19.
Disclaimer
■ If an aspect of RP makes you uncomfortable in a scene we're playing, please send me a /tell, letting me know. Communication is very important, more important than potentially keeping immersion.
