Blue could be considered difficult to read. Though he assumes a dour or bored expression, there are a handful of topics that can animate him. But just as there are ways to get him to open up, there are several more that can cause him to become tight-lipped again. There are times in which he can be somewhat lazy, and even ornery. On the field it's much more apparent that he lives inside his head; all manner of emotions flee him. He could be equated to someone moving on auto-pilot, or a predator on the prowl, to be more specific.
Blue is a solitary man that stands at seven fulm. While lean, his arms, calloused hands, and feet are testament to hard labor and long days spent migrating across the plateaus of Othard. The black horns that curve out from his head bear several ridges and nicks, where he's been caught in blows. His orange-gold eyes are intense and fiery, and he bears a full head of bluish-white hair, often preferably tied into braids unless he chooses to leave it loose and free; though, recently he seems to have lost several inches of it somehow. Any choice of warpaint he uses stands in dark contrast to his ivory skin. His tail is spindly, fairly short and pointed.
He carries with him two double-barreled pistols, a spear fitted into a wooden groove, and a wooden bo staff. Though they are the most commonly viewed items on his person, there are several other curious gadgets and contraptions that he carries with him. At one point, Blue was also seen accompanied by a little opo-opo. The critter had a tendency to dangle off of one of his horns. For whatever reason, this dear companion appears to have gone missing.
Blue possesses an extensive history, though none of it he has chosen to speak about to anyone at present. Any previous leads point to his stay with a retired Maelstrom officer by the name of Iyrnahr Syngifalksyn. While the Au Ra was never been able to properly refer to the man by name, Iron Eagle allowed him to remain in his home, share in his food, and gave him a place to sleep-- all in return for acquiring scrapped metals, and on occasion escorting his scholarly daughter - Blaetgeim Iyrnahrwyn - across dangerous territories. For these sacrifices of his time, he received benefits from the firearms provisioner, and one could say that the two roegadyn became as much family to him as he did to them. So far, none have questioned his roots so far as to discover where he came from, and what he did before he came to Eorzea. The only piece of information known came straight from his mouth: he was a bounty hunter.
Since then, following a fateful encounter initially sparked in the small port town of Vesper Bay, Blue has fit himself within the ranks of the Maelstrom 81st Foreign Levy free-company. While only really seeing the benefit he would receive at first, several events have led Blue to question if the people he allied himself with were really who they claimed to be, if not something ... more.

Blue is still largely considered foreign to Eorzean customs. Though he tries to adapt and assimilate to this new way of living, he often stands out like a sore thumb.
