Xiaoli Vorgan is a Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te specializing in archery and training in the use of healing magics and applied medicine under Dr. Soleil Bajira. Beautiful, petite and kind-hearted, there was once a time where it would be hard to get Xiaoli to engage in a fight but lately it has been a constant. She comes off as very quiet and shy around most people, which is true but those who get to know her and become close often find that she indeed has insight and wisdom beyond her years. During the Battle of Cartenau, the off-branch Lynx tribe she was born into went into great peril. Rumors of the entire off-branchs demise were floating on the ears of the people. Decisions were made in haste and things quickly turned chaotic.

Character
Xiaoli has a very quiet and shy personality but she puts forth effort to try to get over her shyness and make connections with other people. She tends to worry about others very easily, even those she has just met. Elezen and Roe men seem to make her nervous but again, she tries to overcome her phobias and get along with anyone who seems willing to give her the same chance. Many see her as quiet and humble though she is very well educated for having not much education while in tribe life. She took it upon herself to study once she left her tribe so that she could learn to survive in a world very different from her upbringing.
General Information
- Given Name: Xi'aoli Asai '[Sheow-lee Ah-sigh]': Her first name was originally Xi'aoli, when she was in tribe life but after leaving, she dropped the ' and kept the Xi as tribute to her father. Her last name comes from her marriage to her beloved savior and first love, Ujio Vorgan. A dragoon by heart, Ujio vowed to protect Xiaoli after finding her nearly caught after running away from her tribe where the new nunh had decided to rule with threats. Unofficially, Ujio had given Xiaoli his last name, despite the odds that would come with their relationship and their limited ability to have offspring. With not much to their name, they traveled Eorzea together, hoping to make a life.
- Aliases/Nicknames: Xia, Xiao, Princess, Angel: Most call her Xiaoli, with a few whom are close calling her Xia. Princess is the nickname given to her by Orpheus Arkouda since the first time he had seen her enter into a room in white flowing majestic healing robes. He made the comment on how she looked like a princess and from then on it stuck. Angel was a nickname given in a similar fashion since Xia is more often than not, seen in all white clothing.

Appearance
- Height: 4 fulms, 10 ilms - for a Miqo'te she is fairly short and despite her young age, she has already gotten as tall as she will ever be. Miqo'te . She stands out uniquely from either sect of her tribe in that both her eyes are actually the same color and often change from diamond white to sky blue depending on a variety of things.
- Weight: 111 ponz - Even in her small stature, she is petite yet curvacious with a round bottom and a ample handful of breasts. (118 ponz during pregnancy)
- Body: Physically she appears at least 18 years old. Xiaoli prides herself on grooming herself well. Her hair and nails are always clean and kept. She often gives off the faint scent of Lavender which she bathes and washes her hair in. Even though she is petite, she is by no means skin and bones. Her age has given her the advantage of a youthful figure still forming. Hour glass hips, perky chest, she is flexible and quick when in peak condition. While more power resides in her legs from often walking to and from places as well as training her archery, mostly in the Shroud. (During pregnancy, she often wears robes which more often than not conceal the pregancy up until about the 5th month at which point her small round tummy begans to become noticable even through the thickest robing.)
- Complexion: Light caramel, nearly flawless skin shimmers like honey in the sun. Xiaoli is well known for her naturally golden complexion achieved from birth without the aid of laying across the hot sands. Xiaoli's mother had a very fair complexion while her father was a deep bronze which combined together gave Xia her honey glow.There is a crescent moon shaped scar on both the top and bottom of her right hand where she saved the life of her unborn child by using her own hand as a shield when nothing else was available. It was a weak attempt but managed to make the blade miss the child and vital organs just barely.
- Face: Petite as the rest of her and heart shaped, Xia's most noticible feature would be her diamond blue eyes, which sometimes give off a steel gray appearance in bright light. Unlike a good majority of miqo'te, Xiaoli does not have heterochromia, since the color of both her eyes lightened from the same cause that lightened her hair. She looks to mostly everyone with a kind heart and a warm smile on her heart shaped lips. She often wears a light plum lipshade. Xiaoli has permanent white markings across her face appeared after Dr. Soleil Bajira placed a protection seal bound to Xia's heart keeps her safe. This mark changed all of Xia's features nearly over night.
- Hair: Originally, Xiaoli was born with long black and purple-pink hair. After the protection seal was placed on her, literally overnight this changed. Long pearlescent ivory cascades of hair reach to Xia's lower back but she often cuts it to the middle of her back. Subtle pink highlights can be seen through out her hair. Even her tail puffed out! It is very soft and with almost a silverish sheen to it. Xiaoli is often seen with her hair pulled into a expensive looking barrette at the top of her head. Made with a beautiful diamond at the center, it was given to her as a gift from Orpheus after her original had been broken on the beach at Costa Del Sol. If her hair is down, it is usually freely flowing with loose curls and waves.
- Fashion: Xiaoli is not very clothing oriented, meaning she does not go out looking for the latest in fashion. She tries to wear what the situation calls for. That being said, she also has no qualms with wearing certain items of clothing even if it may be too revealing. She believes in wearing what is comfortable and what matchs the situation. Since she is in the process of saving up as much as she can, she often patchs up her old clothes and keeps them as long as she can, sometimes she is given extra clothes from a friend as well. (Currently as of 12/12/13, Xiaoli is more often than not seen in robes, to conceal her pregnancy.)
Behavior
- Voice: Soft and proper, her words are enunciated clearly but she often does not speak very loudly.
- Demeanor: Xiaoli was a nervous type and still is to some degree and it is hard for her to trust in people. Xia would often sit back quietly at functions but while she was quiet, the whole time she is busy trying to muster up courage to say something. Currently, if you find Xia off in a corner being quiet, it is because she is listening and observing her surroundings. Her nervousness is usually shown by her fiddling with her hands, which she also tries to stop but she has since been able to mostly control her "tells". HOWEVER, with the possesion of a specific item a acquaintance has given her, her personality is beginning to take a turn. The ring allows inhibitions to be let go and prolonged usage without proper care of the item can quickly turn a person cold and calculated.
- Quirks: Xia has been known to freak out during lightning/thunderstorms. The reasons have not been told.
- Intelligence: Xiaoli is extremely smart for her age but still young in naivity. Xiaoli was only trained in healing magics in her tribe as she was chosen to be one of the 5 to next give birth to repopulate the tribe. Since she abhorred the idea, her studies were low in healing while she excelled in archery which she learned by sneaking off and getting trained by a friend in the Shoud. After escaping the tribe, Ujio supplied Xia with books to learn from and so she began to brush up on healing on her own accord with the mindset of being able to heal Ujio if he was ever hurt. She is currently studying healing and practical medicine under Dr. Soleil Bajira.
Combat
Xiaoli has spent much of her childhood learning the bow and it seems to be the weapon she favors. She is also very interested in hand to hand combat as well as melee. In both these areas she is seeking training. Xiaoli found out not very long after leaving her home that she had the ability to focus her magic to use for more than just healing purposes. Even more abilities of hers soon came to light and a few interested parties began to see her coming into power as a threat. Xiaoli's magical abilites were contained for a short time until the birth of her daughter unlocked that which stunted her ability to use magic. Xiaoli can now use magic without inflicting a backlash effect on herself.

- ♥ ♥ ♥ Ujio Vorgan - A male midlander Hyur and Xiaoli's knight in shining armor, literally. A Dragoon at heart, he saved her life and the two have been together almost every since until Ujio fell into black magic. Ujio himself is also young, but after being trained harshly by his older brother Reiji, he has become a skilled fighter. Ujio is Xiaoli's first and only true love. The two plan to officially get married and build a home together. Ujio is very protective of Xiaoli, especially after the condition he found her in. This lead him to want to become stronger to better protect the love that he had never known existed before finding Xiaoli. His aim to protect soon became a thirst for power and the seduction of black magic pulled him in so deep that even Xiaoli could not reach him. Vanishing without a trace and unreachable at all while searching for more power, it became a guessing game of when, where and how Ujio was doing. At one point, the Twin Adders reported him dead and Xiaoli fell into despair. Little did she know that Ujio had stumbled upon magics unthinkable and just the sheer knowledge of it was power in itself.Eventually, he found his way back to her on his own willpower after nearly being consumed by the powers he had once sought to protect his love. It can be said that even through his black magic consumption, Ujio could feel Xiaoli's heart slowly pulling away and drifting towards another when all assumed him dead. It may be one of the reasons he found the strength to bring himself away from the darkness to reclaim his love.
- ● Dr. Soleil Bajira - A female midlander Hyur specializing in healing magic and medicine. Xiaoli met Soleil when the Adders sent her to Limsa for further treatment of the magical poison still lingering in her system after Xi'on had attacked her near Black Brush Station. Soleil and Xia have become close and Soleil is now Xia's primary doctor. Dr. Bajira is also training Xiaoli in practical medicine and helping her hone her healing magics the same way she was taught when she was growing up. Xia considers Soleil like a older sister. Soleil often babysits baby Oren when both Xiaoli and Ujio are off on a assignment.
- ● Reiji Vorgan - A male highlander Hyur specializing in the practice of Dragoon. Reiji is Ujio's older brother and raised him in a strict and near merciless manner. Reiji will not tolerate weakness, let alone if it was coming from his brother. Xiaoli doesn't know much about Reiji but just hearing his name gives her the chills up her spine as she knows how estranged the brothers are. She also isn't quite sure how Reiji feels about the relationship between herself and Ujio but it only worries her because she knows that if Reiji disgrees with them being together, Ujio might likely attempt something drastic against his brother and vice versa. Despite Ujio learning the ways of the Dragoon from his brother, Xiaoli believes Ujio may have already surpassed him, which makes a possible clashing between the two devastating.
- ♥ Orpheus Arkouda - A male Seeker of the Sun and member of XI:7, Xiaoli had met and traveled with on multiple occasions. He introduced her to XI:7. She at first regarded him as a older brother but when Ujio was rumored dead, they became closer. For a person looking at them, they would seem as close as a typical couple of miqo'te siblings but things are much more complicated than they appear to be. After finding out that Ujio was not dead and about the engagement of Orpheus to his girlfriend, Xiaoli has distanced herself from Orpheus but now the two seem to be getting along quite well. Their bonds have been slightly altered due to the interference of Xiaoli and Ujio's future son traveling back in time and altering things even Adult Oren hadn't gone far back enough to alter.
- ● Jaques Guillaume - A male duskwight Elezen that Xiaoli met by chance in Coerthas. He and some of his comrades were sharing the same dorm quarters as XI:7 and upon Xiaoli heading to take a bed for the night, he gave her quite the start when she hadn't first noticed him inside of the dorms when she entered with Orpheus. Xia was at first paranoid of Jacques due to him being a male elezen and then even more so when it seemed that he and several of his associates and several of the XI members were nearly about to get into a dispute. Fortunately things worked out well. Xiaoli hasn't seen Jacques or any of his associates since they seemed to have left Coerthas.
- ● Vaughn Antain - A male wildwood Elezen that Xiaoli met by chance in Coerthas along with Jacques. Xiaoli first mistook this male for a female which made her even more shy around this male than she already was for him being a male Elezen.Vaughn seemed to be one of the people who helped XI and his group come to a compromise about living spaces. When fences were being mended and members of each group were getting to know each other, Xiaoli was convinced that she should try to approach some of the members and get to know them to get over her phobia despite the fact that the first conversations directed to Xiaoli by Vaughn was about a possible sighting of a mane named "Ashe EnVale". Having heard that Vaughn was a chef, Xiaoli thought it may be a opportunity to get to know the man better but it seemed to hit a wall before it even started. Despite Vaughn being the calmer one between him and Jacques, for some reason Xiaoli feels like there is something slightly off about this man. Xia has also not seen Vaughn in awhile.

- ● Nihka Moni - A female keeper of the moon Miqo'te. Not much is known about this female. Xiaoli met her only once when Nihka's people were staying in Coerthas. Staying mostly in the corner, using extremely broken sentences, Nihka's interactions consisted of her quickly exiting the building whenever it seemed like Xiaoli came around which helped to further cement Xia's hesitations about getting to know this group of individuals since 3 out of 5 encounters seemed to be on the same uninviting plateau. Since then, there has been limited contact with the exception of am mutual friend giving her a few potions made by Nihka to help aid in defense if Xi'on attempted another attack.
- ● Ginshaw Njara - A male midlander hyur and member of XI:7, Xiaoli met Ginshaw around the time when she first joined XI:7. Xiaoli found Ginshaw's behavior around her amusing, though she did not know it was specifically because of her at the time. Xiaoli enjoys making apple tarts for Ginshaw just as much as he loves devourering them. Recently, the two have drifted apart but every so often when Xiaoli is making tarts, she smiles and remembers.
- ● Klinzahr Irnahctwyn - A female Roe, and member of XI:7. Klin is the 2nd medical specialist Xia has met besides Soleil. Klin was kind enough to bandage Xiaoli up after her 2nd encounter with Xi'on. Xia can be intimidated by Klin's size and personality but she still feels safe around the woman none the less. Xia admires the way Klin looks out for her brother Ginshaw and wishes she had siblings she could also count on in the same manner.
- ● Xi'on Nunh - A male Seeker of the Sun, deceased. Xi'on was Nunh at the time before Xiaoli left her tribe. His brutality was known throughout the tribe and he was the main reason Xiaoli ran away. Her defiance along with the other 4 females he had chosen had led him to become even more insane. He quickly disbatched 2 of the 5 females for denying him his right. Xiaoli made her escape before it was her turn. Xi'on spent so much time tracking down the escaped woman than the tribe began to dwindle even faster, prompting Xi'on's twin to take charge. Xi'on had lost his position as nunh by the time he found Xiaoli again. Orpheus Arkouda killed Xi'on after the ex-nunh stabbed Xiaoli in her pregnant belly with the emerald Envy dagger and left her for dead near the river by 7th Heaven. Xi'on was Xiaoli's boogeyman.
- ● Xi'no Nunh - A male Seeker of the Sun and nunh of the off branch Lynx tribe after defeating his brother for the position. Xi'no is Xi'on's twin brother, younger by only a minute but the two may as well had been enemies. Xi'no is much more ambitious than his brother and even more cunning. Xi'no pretends not to know why Xi'on was obsessed with Xiaoli, mock-chalking it up to Xi'on wanting to make a example of the five who tried to escape him but he knows the truth behind it all and wants Xiaoli for the same purposes. He keeps his wants very secret and plants eyes and ears where he can unlike his brother, who was loud and obvious. When Xi'on began stalking around 7th Heaven, Xi'no saw this as a opportunity to finally get rid of his brother and even went so far as to tipping Orpheus off on occasion. Little does Xiaoli know that the real threat has yet to be seen.
- ● Garryson Shipkeeper - A male midlander Hyur and leader of XI:7, Garryson is the Captain of XI. Xiaoli is not exactly sure what to make of this man. Upon first meeting him, he seemed like a superhero to Xiaoli. He took in many people, giving them a home and safe haven and spoke of others becoming heroes and doing good things for the realm. Xiaoli was intimidated but also very excited to have joined XI under such a command. This prompted her to quickly volunteer for the mission to retrieve XI:7's belongings back after they had been set up. She wanted to desperately become apart of the team and contribute but at the time, she was unaware that the captain hadn't officially sanctioned the mission. The mission was successful however, what happened during the mission scared her to death as she watched the captain and his second-in-command turn their backs and leave the rest behind. Now, every time she sees him, she remembers his back just before they crossed the firewall threshold and at every mission she wonders if she might get left behind. Every since that day, Xiaoli had been a bit more cautious about what she does as far as XI:7 missions go up until the Captain once again wiped the slate with all his members and decided to make them either re-apply or remain jobless. Xiaoli opted to find "cover" employment elsewhere.
- ● A'reiel Mahsa - A female Seeker of the Sun and member of XI:7, Xiaoli does not know Aire very well, she has only spoken to her a few times but Xia at one time did feel comfortable around her, up until she saw A'reiel appear to have no stance or say towards the ambush incident. At the time before, Xia was especially interested because Aire is the only other miqote whom like her, is involved with a hyur. The interest was short lived once she witnessed very little interaction between the couple besides the captain having A'reiel as a lap ornament. Whether or not this is the case, Xiaoli saw herself in the same light and decided she wanted her and Ujio's children to be able to speak their minds with confidence. Since her departure from XI:7, XIaoli has been trying to be more outward so that if she also gives the impression of a quiet lap ornament, she may prove them wrong. This in turn led Xiaoli to begin practice as a Paladin, one whom stands up for others and doesn't sit around waiting for the action of others.
- ● Jajara Jara - A female Lalafell, and member of XI:7. Xiaoli knows very little about the lalafell and her very first encounter with the woman literally creeped her out for good. Jara's name had barely even been mentioned when Xiaoli had first met Orpheus and when it was finally mentioned, it was only to explain how "out of reach/hard to get" she was for Orpheus. Only after Xiaoli and Orpheus had began to get closer did it appear that Jara had finally let Orpheus in. Xiaoli found this out only after joining XI:7 after the great Limsa Set-Up which forced the group to re-locate to 7th Heaven in Coerthas. Despite Orpheus reassuring Xiaoli that Jajara "understands" him, Xiaoli can't help feeling the awkwardness whenever around her and other than business as usual, she generally doesn't go looking for the woman or even looking in her direction too long.
- ● Paran Hywel - A male midlander Hyur and member of XI:7. Xia doesn't know very much about Paran but Xia finds him to be a nice guy thus far. He is rumored to be a great fisher and thus sometimes provides Xiaoli with fresh fish for some of the dishes she prepares for XI:7 when members get a craving for a taste of Lominsan cuisine. He often keeps to himself and is very quiet. Xia also finds him to be very strong in his opinions and she admires how he isn't afraid to speak up on them.
- ● Keru Lowry - A male seeker of the Sun and member of XI:7. Keru is the 2nd person that Xiaoli met when she arrived at Limsa looking to meet up with Dr. Bajira. Keru was hanging out with Orpheus Arkouda and the three of them traveled around Limsa Lominsa helping Xiaoli find her way since she had only every went to the Bismarck. Xia finds Keru to be very friendly with a caring heart as she sees how he cars for his pets.
- ● Xydane Vale - A male midlander Hyur. There is not much Xiaoli knows about this person, but he volunteered to help her when Xi'on was on the loose. It has been awhile since Xiaoli last saw the man, but she would recognize him again if she were to run into him.
- ● Akuma Asami - A male highlander hyur. A close buddy and mercenary friend of Orpheus. Xiaoli hasn't gotten the chance to really speak to Akuma since she has not really been around 7th heaven lately however, she had been told she could consider him a good friend. Xiaoli and Akuma became closer when Oren Vorgan came back from the future in hopes of changing a tattered and bleak future. Akuma, being Orph's closest friend vowed to look out for the two when he could, because despite Ujio's return, he can not be everywhere at once. A few weeks before Xiaoli gave birth, Akuma and her met at a XI:7 gathering briefly and the two became better acquainted which was Akuma's plan, unknown to Xiaoli about what her daughter from the future had planned with the man. Now that Xiaoli found herself without a cover job, she has been traveling alot more but often finds herself as a patron and guest of the Laughing Lady where Akuma works security.
- ● Racilian Lyenum - A female keeper of the Moon and member of XI:7. Not much is known about Racilian other than that she is a free spirit, almost akin to Xiaoli but a bit more open. The two have not really had a chance to get to know each other but Xiaoli has noticed that even though Racilian has only been around for a little while, she seems very close with Captain Shipkeeper and Miss Mahsa. Xiaoli remains a bit wary of her, since the last person who seemed to be in a similar situation was also present on the fated ambush day when members of XI:7 went to retrieve items stolen from them. Since then, Xiaoli has recently started to get used to seeing Raci around and often finds herself giggling more than usual in her presence.

Remi Marcineaux
- ● Remi Marcineaux - A male wildwood Elezen and representative of the Conjurers guild in Gridania. Xiaoli was called in by Twin Adders at request of Mr. Marcineaux when strange happenings began near and around the Black Shroud. When Xiaoli arrived, she was a bit apprehensive at first, due to her slight phobia of male Eleze but Remi quickly grew on her. The two got right to business as they ventured into the shroud to investigate a morbol infestation. With their powers combined, they quickly mended the problem by defeating the morbol queen. Xiaoli wasn't sure she was up to the task but overcame her fears with Remi at her side. After sharing a meal which happened to be a pregnancy craving Xiaoli was having (BBQ), Xiaoli decided she would continue to see if she could lend aid to Remi's cause. Remi is the first male Elezen that Xiaoli is able to be around without feeling nervous.
- ● Delial Grimsong - A female midlander Hyur, Xiaoli met Delial on business in Gridania when Xia was ordered by the Twin Adders to help assist with "situations" arising around the Shroud. Despite the situation being handled with the morbol infestation, another crisis quickly arose regarding classified information. Other people were brought in to assess the situation and Delial was one. Xiaoli was present with Remi Marcineaux when Delial arrived at Gridania. Delial's first impression on Xiaoli was her "choice" negative words about working with others. However, when it comes to business, Xiaoli keeps it professional and now her only concern is the trouble that has recently arose after hearing about Remi and Delial becoming affected by forces of magic it seems they aren't too familiar with.
