❇ FIRST IMPRESSION: Tall and willowy, Yomi stands taller than the average female Au Ra at 5'7" fulms, weighing in at 110 ponze. Her complexion is pale, and naturally dusky; a soft lilac mixed rose, her face framed by ivory white hair with a pinkish tinge. Her eyes, once big and bright, have long since faded into a cloudy, milky white due to the trauma induced cataracts formed in them, leaving most of her pupils unseen. As most Raen do, Yomi possesses polished ivory scales, horns and a barbed tail.
❇ SCARS & MARKINGS : A band of white, semi-transparent paint runs across her eyes; the act of applying it daily a ritual she carries out with meticulous care.
❇ CLOTHING: Having been without functioning sight for most of her life, Yomi rarely picks out her own clothes - in the past, her fashion sense was dictated by her parents, and now it is left entirely up to the tailor(s) she visits. Her garbs from the Far East carry the distinct styles of the Hingans, and her garments from Eorzea vary in style. She tends to dress in muted colors; not by her own doing, but by her tailors.
❇ VOICE CLAIM:Emi Evans Evan's voice while singing is a good indication of Yomi's breathy and somber voice.
ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ
Reserved, aloof and soft-spoken are the words most commonly used to describe the wan Yomi. While the young lady isn't hostile by any means, she carries an aura of indifference about her - she is never too loud, never too happy or too whiny. Some would consider her well-mannered, others call her distant.
Yomi's father; a man so strict and born into tradition some would go as far as to call him unkind. Despite being his first-born daughter, Shigeru never treated Yomi as such. The most recent meeting between the two has however left them on uncertain footing; treading carefully around one another, not entirely sure what they are. That they would ever consider the other 'family' is however unlikely.
Kawai Hitodama
Yomi's mother; a woman whom Yomi knows very little of. While alive, the woman harbored a burning hatred for her first-born daughter - an unwanted child, in an unwanted marriage. Despite the honor of being married into an influential family, Kawai always hated her lot in life as a lord's wife.
Shizuka Hitodama
Yomi's younger sister. The two never had much of a relationship as their parents never allowed them to, and the few times the girls did come into contact with one another, Shizuka was as cruel and cold as their parents... Until her dying day. On her deathbed, Shizuka sought to right her past wrongs and transgressions against the older sister she never had the chance to bond with, and paid for her mistakes with her life.
Yuki Hitodama
Yomi's youngest sister. Another sibling with whom Yomi never bonded due to their parents strict upbringing. Youngest of the Hitodama siblings, Yuki is perhaps the one least influenced by the rule of her parents. Unfit for ladyship, and with a mind that favors exciting adventures over court sessions, Yuki was after her reconciliation with her eldest sister put in the care of the Shirakawa family.
Haruka Hitodama
Yomi's brother. The second oldest of the Hitodama siblings, surpassed in age only by Yomi herself. A man who in life took after his father, raised to be his heir and the next head of the Hitodama family. A strange illness however claimed the young man's life before he could succeed his father.
ᴏʀɢᴀɴɪᴢᴀɪᴏɴs & ɢʀᴏᴜᴘs
Sable Tree Company
The company for which Yomi is currently employed. Taken in by it's proprietress Veyha Yanjahl after being found aimlessly wandering the estate in search of familiarity, Yomi found respite beneath the sable boughs of the great tree.
'Lady Yanjahl', as Yomi has come to call her, is a curiosity in the Raen's life - a curiosity she welcomes, for her kindness. In her times of need, Veyha has proven to be an invaluable friend and ally... Despite the fact that her rather eccentric and outspoken personality is in stark contrast to Yomi's own mellow apathy.

✗I won't play permanent character death or rape plots.
✗I won't roleplay with storyline NPCs (such as but not restricted to the Heavensward, the Scions), individuals who are minors in real life, or character from a non-Final Fantasy universe.
Disclaimers
↣ English is not my native language. This shows sometimes.
↣ Some of the lore surrounding Yomi is not confirmed by the game itself. I try my best to stay within the boundaries set by FFXIV and it's lore team, but as there are holes in some of the themes I am exploring with this character, some of it may or may not correlate with in-game lore at all times.
↣ Following up on my previous point, the lore surrounding Yomi is subject to change should we be bestowed with more lore upon spirits, ghosts and beliefs surrounding them.
