She usually lacks even a hint of makeup and the raven-black tresses that crown her head are often tangled and barely brushed. When not half-hidden behind that mess of hair, her face is round, readable and radiates an innocence of purpose. Dark freckles speckle her tanned cheeks like countless flecks of paint and her emerald-green eyes often shine with cheer beneath a pair of thick eyebrows. ___________________________________________________________________________ Body In contrast to her face, the Hyur sports a slim, willowy figure. Her skin, darker than most Lominsans through her Thavnairian and Ala Mhigan heritage, is further tanned from several summers spent under the sun. Despite her slight frame, years of labor have defined her muscles and roughened her grip. ___________________________________________________________________________ Clothing Admiah is never more comfortable than in a set of practical, sturdy clothes - the more broken-in, the better. Having come into some wealth as an administrator for Sable Tree Curios, the Hyur has taken to wearing more expensive ensembles when doing otherwise might hurt the company’s appearance. Reds and browns are among her favorite colors, but recently Admiah has taken a liking to purple for her business attire. ___________________________________________________________________________ Personality Compassionate Caring for others’ lives is what gives worth to Admiah’s own. If there is anything she can do to ease another’s burden, Admiah works hard to see them through their trouble be they friend or stranger. ___________________________________________________________________________ Pacifist For the longest time, Admiah shunned violence altogether. To her, nothing justified harm from one person to another and she developed the instinct to hide or run from a fight rather than confront it. Though she still abhors it, Admiah has learned through practice and experience that there is sometimes no other option than to raise sword or spell so that others can continue to live in a peace she desperately wishes would fill the world. ___________________________________________________________________________ Diligent A childhood tending to a farm and an adult life spent astride her chocobo to deliver packages all across Vylbrand has left an unshakable sense of duty in Admiah. The young Hyur will do everything in her ability to see whatever she is tasked with through, especially if it means the betterment of someone else. ___________________________________________________________________________ Uneducated Everything Admiah has learned has been informal. From simple lessons taught by her parents to a degree from the College of Some Bloke In the Wench Told Me, she has picked up a rough-and-ready education that puts her several steps below anyone who spent their young life hunched over books. Despite this, she has an endless appetite for knowledge, developing a stronger grasp on the world’s workings every day. ___________________________________________________________________________ Skills . ◢Chocobo Handling-★★★★★ ■Years spent raising her chocobo, Binky, as well as taking care of others’ horsebirds has given Admiah a great deal of experience in tending to them. She can be trusted with handling all but the most violent chocobos and is familiar to many caretakers of the creatures in La Noscea and the Black Shroud. ◢Mercantile-★★★★☆   ■After the Calamity, Admiah has learned through her summers as a courier and, more recently, an administrator for a trading company on how the merchant business works. She is a reliable person to conduct business with and already boasts a modest record of dealings that have benefited both Sable and its partners.. ◢Housekeeping-★★★☆☆ ■ Running a company mansion has given plenty more for Admiah to keep in order. While she’s not alone in her efforts, Admiah has gained plenty of experience in keeping a civilized space from looking like a beastkin’s den. . ◢Bladecraft-★★☆☆☆ ■The first of the combat skills Admiah decided to practice, the Hyur has spent a great deal of time learning how to use her rapier. She’s gained reasonable confidence with the weapon but has a long way to go if she ever plans on winning against a true duelist. ◢Thaumaturgy-★★★☆☆ ■It took a long time for Admiah to muster the will to summon flames, but when the first sparks left her fingers she discovered some talent with spellcasting. She has much and more to learn about destructive magics, but she can be relied on to bring them to bear when danger looms. ◢Conjury-★★☆☆☆ ■Conjury is the most recent of Admiah’s skills. Unlike Thaumaturgy, she’s been advancing at a rapid pace. She’s already capable of curing simple wounds and will doubtlessly overtake her skill with thaumaturgy in time.
