Early Life
Childhood
Sifriyah, the soul, like many Amaurotians was born before the cataclysm. Educated and nurtured, she excelled at the usage of creation magicks and debate but she showed such a talent for organization that her time was spent mostly in the great libraries.
Camila bas Liberus, the body, was a child born in Garlean controlled Dalmasca Superior to a wealthy family of Merchants that easily fell into the Empire's ranks and rule. Precocious and eager she grew quickly and developed fast, often devouring books much more advanced than others her age; but this and her Family's loyalties to the Empire left her ostracized among her peers. Lonely and finding herself in a rare place, she fell into often relying on adults or Empire Soldiers for company which only assisted in further educating her to their ways.
Adolescence
As a teenager Sifriyah proved troublesome and contrarian- often arguing the devil's advocate role just to counter those who were speaking. Many saw her attitude as soured and antisocial from her excessive time alone but respected her passion for the pursuit of education and development of creation magicks as it was. This fascination lead her to encounter those much older than herself regularly and she began finding niches where her candor, sarcasm, and wit were allowed to blossom.
For Camila, however, her teenage years were brutal and as a means to escape the sheet cruelty of those in the resistance... she enlisted herself into military service. Zealous and passionate she put her ambitions to the fore-front as a Medicus and quickly turned on those who had once upon a time been her tormentors as a means to prove her loyalty the Empire. Bitter and angry she worked her way from 'jen' to 'lux' in a matter of years, surprising many with her talents, knowledge, and skill... even at her young age.
Adulthood
Amaurot was falling apart from Cataclysm when Sifriyah was married and she and her lover produced their only child, the desperate numbers clinging to hope and ideas tossed out as chaos bred through the population. Trying to assist as best she could she debated those who would bring about Zodiark- attempting to give ideas of other ways that would work better (or so she suspected). Still, hers alone could not change anyone and much to her sorrow... her husband gave his life as a means to help summon Zodiark. The Primal's peace did not bring satisfaction to her wounded heart and when others spoke up of balancing Zodiark? Sifriyah devoted herself to those who would bring Hydaelyn into being; but that did not save them.
When Hyldaelyn split Zodiark and tore the fabric of reality... Sifriyah ended up alive, her child missing and her soul completely whole. Wandering through the Shards she encountered old faces... Amaurotians like herself but also those split and unable to remember. Searching for her daughter in the countless faces, she became lost and ultimately ended up in Dalmasca on the Source after many years and traversing the Shards. This is what brought her to the moment when Camila lux Liberus became Camila mal Liberus, and when would-be-assassin's attempted to kill the girl. Infusing herself into the body and wresting control she utilized her power to salvage what she could from the explosion and prevent any damage from truly harming her.
Sifting through memories and countless dreams, Sifriyah saw Camila's life and wept for the girl and the path she had taken: recalling in herself similar feelings but recognizing the brutality she had enacted. Using her newly acquired body's position and knowledge she infiltrated the Garlean presence in Dalmasca and began unwinding the mystery of the Empire as well as the world. Though not an easy step Sifriyah made ties to the Resistance and after significant effort she managed to become one of their chief information suppliers. Renamed Liselotte Schreiber as an alias, she and other undermined the local Legatus until Hien and the others could liberate the Nation.
Dispatched to Gyr Abania she assisted the Liberation there as well, operating as a Medic and Field Triage Specialist... it was here many discovered her odd abilities and Echo Gifts that she seemed to possesses. It was also here that she became acquainted with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and the many heroic figures among them: finding solace and company, she joined them- though she was far from the only one. Sifriyah maintained her guise as Liselotte; but she kept an eye out for a soul... a face she might remember.
Recent Times
With 'Camila mal Liberus' listed as a known traitor to the Empire and Liselotte Schreiber a welcome face of the resistance? It was strange for her to live a double life but Sifriyah did not stay long. A strange pull in the threads of her soul found her traversing to the First and specifically to Eulmore, her eyes forced wide as she saw the first reflection of her daughter in the eyes of a Mystel child. Torn with what to do, the girl did not recognize her and Sifriyah was forced to weep... her heart shattered.
