"I'm just looking for answers. .." - Aaron at the Grindstone.
Aaron Glacier is an ex pirate born in Upper La Noscea who once ran with the Glacial Wolf Pirates, a band of pirates led by his father. He has snowy white hair with black highlights, a trait that distinguished his family and is what created the origin of his last name "Glacier". He also has pale skin and snow white eyes and a slim and physically athletic male standing around 5"11 and weighing around 155-160lbs. He's known to be extremely attractive to women and even men. He's typically seen always dressed in black, and as some like to joke always near a woman despite the fact he's never initiated a flirt with anyone. He's said his hairs bangs limit his vision by at least 20% but he can still see relatively good past them. He typically is seen easily out a crowd.

PERSONALITY Aaron is a very apathetic and distant individual, he prefers to deal with things by himself and has little patience when he wants a job done. His typical range of emotions vary from subtle such as him not talking a lot and staying quiet, to drastic such as him avoiding eye contact with someone or even lashing out in anger when someone says something he doesn't like. As a pirate Aaron used to love showing off how good he was with a blade but now his attitude is a lot more apathetic and non chalant to the point he replies to a lot of offers and inquiries about him with "Don't know don't care." Or "Not interested." The only creature he really seems to talk to and enjoy their company lately is a wolf pup he saved in Upper La Noscea named Fenrir. Because of this people assume Aaron has a lot of deep emotional issues he's dealing with by himself.
However Aaron still possesses somewhat of an ego (probably because he's attractive and he's realized it) and will lash out at anyone who insults him without or reason or with hateful intent. Because of this he doesn't talk about his past much as he knows there are people who will feed off that information and use to it keep him from his attempts at redemption for his crimes. He isn't very loyal or protective of anyone which became apparent after Deverell Jinx, a close friend asked Aaron if he would have cared if he had killed Aerostein Epitaph during their fight to which Aaron simply walked away without an answer. It could be inferred however that he's lost so many people over the course of being a cutthroat he's learned to shut off his attachments to people and thus technically only cares for himself mostly however on rare occasions he's shown compassion towards his friends implying he's learning to open up for the first time in his life. This however is short lived Aaron grows more solemn and distant from everyone, claiming he isn't "fit to help even himself anymore" and begins going through another personality crisis. This drives him to be aloof, non chalant and a lot more serious.
Sexuality
Aaron Glacier is 100% heterosexual (which disappoints some men) but he's shown he's tolerant of men calling him attractive as long as they keep it to words and don't attempt anything. He has no interest in lalafell or Roe women claiming them to be too drastic for his taste. He is less open about dating Highlands and Elezen as he finds it embarrassing to date a taller woman however he's shown he's open to the idea. He doesn't have an opinion on Miqs he's never been with one.
Fighting Style
(Aaron's sword sheathe which allows him to carry 4 swords at once, however the fourth and lowest slit remains empty almost all the time as Aaron doesn't carry more than 3 blades at once in general. However he has more swords for different purposes in his room.)
Aaron is highly skilled in Kentish, possessing multiple swords and fast reflexes. (he's been confused with swordsman many times) and hand to hand combat. He focuses on unrelenting aggressive assaults on his opponents in hopes of overwhelming them, almost always aiming for the limbs and joints of his enemies to take them out quickly. . Because of his heavy focus on offense one would think he's terrible at defense however Aaron has surprisingly fast reflexes and agility enabling him to swiftly dodge or deflect most lesser attacks. In battle he's known to use his swords as both a melee weapon and when under the right circumstances a long range weapon by throwing his sword at his opponents like a giant dart when they are caught off guard. He's also known to switch between standard and reverse grips mid fight and switching his weapon back and forth in his hands to confuse his enemies as well as mix unarmed attacks into his style. Every so often he will enhance his kenjutsu skills with his aether. Aarons skills have allowed him to fight on par with physically superior opponents like Berrod Armstrong and Magically adept fighters like Aerostein Epitaph. His skills are so good people like Deverell Jinx and S'vett Tia are hesitant to fight him one on one, the former even admitting it was crazy to fight Aaron by himself. His flaw however is due to him not liking to wear armor as it restricts his agility Aaron can get wounded pretty quickly however his hardiness and determination allows him to fight for a bit even when injured. Aaron has a popular motto he goes by when he talks about fighting "If I can't out last or out maneuver them, I'll out damage them."
Despite his vicious offense Aaron actually has a few critical weakness. For one he doesn't like armor feeling it "limits my agility on the battlefield" thus he's easy to injure if you can endure his assault. Second he's got a habit of not dodging attacks and instead taking them on with a counter attack thus he's open to heavy injury should his attack be snuffed out. And third do to Aaron relying heavily on forceful overwhelming of his enemies the longer a battle draws out the less likely he is to win. This has caused him severe trouble on several occasions.
Weapons
As of now Aaron has 6 swords in his collection however recently he's developed a more practical style and only carries at the most 3 swords (main hand, off hand and a spare should he get disarmed) with him sheathed on his lower back when venturing. Each blade has a unique name from him and serves a special purpose based on design. They are as detailed below. (First three are his primary ones he generally is seen with or carrying, the second 3 are extras he keeps for varying back up purposes).
Mailbreaker - Aaron's most used blade and his generally main handed sword. It is a gold and black sword that folds into itself when not in battle, their is a release button on the base of the hilt that retracts and protracted the hinges of the blade causing the edge to extend or retract. The sword is call Fenrir because the hilt seems to swallow up the cutting edge when retracted similarly to how in Norse mythology the wolf Fenrir swallows Odin. Aaron apparently had Mailbreaker crafted for him by very skilled blacksmith, who made it upon Aaron's request of wanting a blade that makes him stand out. It generally has the first slit on his sword holster/sheath
Blazefire Saber - A off hand sword and perhaps the second most used blade in Aaron's arsenal, it's generally seen sheathed in the second slit of the sheathe he totes on his lower back hilt protruding up out from his right his when viewing Aaron from the front. It's called Hati after the wolf who chases the sun in Norse mythology, this is because of the sun like guard on the base of the white and blue blade. Aaron got this sword through paying a very hefty sum to get it off a merchant.
Ancient Sword - A very large sword comparable in size to a axe but still light enough to swing with one hand which Aaron seems to do with ease. This sword is used when Aaron is going places that requires him to cut through armor or even rock, something that his other swords can't do. Because of the blades large size Aaron can't carry it in the sheathe he has with his other swords thus it is generally not used unless Aaron knows he'll need it where he's going. It's called Amarok from the larger than life wolves of Inuit mythology said to be able to carry entire deer off the ground clean in their jaws do to the size and power they possess. Aaron acquired Amarok in a ancient ruin hidden in Stone Vigil.
Garudas Gaze - A sword strikingly similar to a tridents edge except much shorter, it is green with three heads similar to a tridents but the middle one is longer and the other two are opposite in design of each other. This sword is generally the third sword Aaron usually is seen carrying around on average and is sheathed in the third slit below and opposite of Hati (Giantsgall) beneath the latter blade. This sword is used more as a parry and ensnaring blade rather than one of Aaron's offensive swords such as Amarok or Fenrir. It's also one of his shorter swords. It is named Luperca because the middle blade always is ahead of the other two as if it's protecting the others similar to how Luperca is translated into a she wolf who nursed others back to health.
Ifrit Blade - Part of the secondary set of blades Aaron uses when he needs to or requires a change of pace. The blade looks primitive and has slightly moving parts along the blade as can be seen when it extends out from under the upper spine covering the top. This blade is mainly used when Aaron knows he's going against multiple opponents where he's going as it's more received figure makes it faster to swing in comparison with his other swords. It's called Tala because it's translated from Sioux meaning "Red Wolf" do to it's dirty red and brown color.
Broadsword - Perhaps the least used sword and the only one Aaron wields with deliberate non lethal intent. Randall translates from Old English as "Shield Wolf" because he uses it more defensively, and only really attacks with the flat side of the weapon. It generally is in his room almost all the time but Aaron keeps it clean. So far Aaron hasn't used this sword yet however.
History
Pirate Life

Aaron is a native of Upper La Noscea. At the age of 18 and before Aaron was molded and trained in the ways of piracy since birth. Stuck between the teachings of his mother and father led the young boy to mess up many times on raids nearly killing himself on several occasions. His mother wanted him to spare any survivor and similar while his father wanted Aaron to grow up to be feared and dangerous. These constantly clashing morals led Aaron to develop a half and half personality where his mood could change from compassive to merciless without hesitation. After his mother passed when he turned 19 during a failed raid on merchant ships that had a naval fleet ambush his ship Aaron fled to icy waters with his father. His mothers death was the first real bell that would send him down a depressive and ruthless path which allowed his father to feed off his despair.
After they fled with their lives Aaron and his father would frequently clash heads with other pirate bands and naval forces all fighting over the less abundant amount of plunder farther out into the arctic waters. Upon the successful raid of one ship Aaron would meet a survivor who he spared from his blade, a beautiful black haired woman named Niara. Upon convincing his father Niara could help serve as a crew mate to replace the lost Glacial Wolf Pirates killed during the assault Aaron would eventually grow close and develop a love interest with Niara. They served together on the same ship for half a year until one night after lying down with Niara Aaron heard turmoil happening above deck and grabbed his sword rushing up.Niara had been tagging the location of our ship to her old crew who had decided it was time to wipe out Aaron's bloodline of pirates. Despite his feelings Aaron without hesitation attacked Niara with his old sword and held up pretty good against her but at the end was ultimately the loser. After getting distracted by the sound of his father being killed at the helm Aaron was quickly disarmed and ran through the chest with his own sword and Niaras. The traitor gave Aaron one last glance and then coldly kicked Aaron off the bow where he plummeted into the icy waters afloat a broken piece of helm bleeding out. Aaron laid there blood and saltwater soaked in the icy waters barely clinging onto life when a passing fishermen ship picked him up where a lalafell white mage woman tended to his wounds and revived his basically dead state. As Aaron regained his life he learned about the injury missing his heart by half an inch. Thankful for his savior a little bit of Aaron's mothers kindness awakened in him and he asked how he could repay his life debt. The little lalafell happy to oblige told Aaron she was headed to Gridania for business and would appreciate his guard. Aaron accepted but first asked if he could head to Coerthas as there was something waiting there for him.
A couple years before the present.

About a year later at 20 years old Aaron would venture to Coerthas with his word get would help the lalafell that saved his life. Upon arriving in the snowy area Aaron would through the next few months more about his family origins. Aaron's bloodline has a affinity to ice so powerful that it imprinted on their genetics thus why his family has pale skin, white eyes and snow white hair, the black highlights are most likely not highlights but the remnants of Aaron's birth hair color had his family not been so powerfully tied with Ice. Aaron would also discover a cavern mentioned to him repeatedly of a cursed sword named Trinity that he stashed away for Aaron to wield and exact revenge on his fathers murderer. After using recollections of the stories he heard Aaron was quickly able to find the voidsent sword hidden away in an underground cavern. However knowing his mind was not powerful enough nor was his body durable enough to take the strain Aaron would take the sword but not use it until he was about to turn 21 in Gridania after his steel falchion sword is broken in a fight with a group of pirates he had chased into the forest. After finding Trinity right before the time of 3 months was given to him by the lalafell Aaron returned to the docks where he joined up with the lalafell and her crew who later were found out to be pirate hunters (they thought Aaron had died defending himself from pirates but was not one himself) and keeping his past and his conflicted mind a secret would travel with them to Gridania now with a young and mentally ruined Aaron in possession of a cursed voidsent sword.

A couple months after arriving in Gridania Aaron was still being plummeted further and further into depression and redemption as he tried to justify his actions of hunting his pirate kin despite hiding he was one from the lalafell whom he had come to view as a mother or some sort of the second type. This coupled with the dark aura of Trinity slowly feed his depression led Aaron to grow significantly more violent and stressful to the point he murdered a bunch of innocent that had tried to keep him from beating the brains out a soldier that had tried to arrest him for an earlier bar fight. He would eventually be pulled away with the lalafell and prohibited from entering any encampment for the rest of the trip. About another month into the search Aaron and the lalafell and band of pirate hunters would finally find their target which shocked Aaron. The lalafell had actually been chasing after Aarons ship but when it was overrun decided Aaron and his bloodline was wiped out from piracy thus she chased after the one that had overthrew the ship. Niara. As they chased the pirates deeper into the shroud Aaron would break off and attack a fleeing Niara where they both along with their chocobo were cut off from the rest and engaged in a one on one fight. Aaron and Niara fought viciously as Aaron tried to figure out why Niara betrayed him like that after he spared her to which she simply replies "I'm a pirate what'd you expect? ". This drove Aaron into even deeper pain as he thought about his mother saying to him everyone can be redeemed and these emotions briefly overtook his merciless ways. Aaron eventually gained the upper hand of their sword fight thanks to Trinity and he was about to cut her down but decided to offer her another chance and they could run away together like she used to tell him. Niara agreed at first but as Aaron helped her to her feet she pulled out a dagger and stabbed him again in the chest. Hurt, betrayed again and enraged Aaron picked up Niara by her throat and was about to stab her through the chest but at the last minute diverted his blade into her left shoulder cutting through the bone and muscle and effectively taking her arm off. As she and Aaron bled out side by side Aaron began crying and wondering what could have been had his mother lived longer than his father and what she would have done. Aaron then crawled over to Niara as she bled out and admitted he still cared for her and that she should thank his mother for teaching him compassion. Niara then caressing Aaron stated they were still pirates and no amount of compassion would change how they were. Aaron then passed out and Niara died. The lalafell pirate hunter would eventually return by herself and recover both bodies and treat Aarons wounds eventually dropping him off in Ul'Dah. After telling Aaron his debt is repaid Aaron asked her what would she do if she found out Aaron was a pirate to which she replied she wouldn't kill him claiming he's redeemed himself by her standards. Aaron thanked her and said his goodbyes as she left by herself. But still suffering from depression and a moral crisis a weak minded and confused Aaron would waste himself away in the quicksand until the present.

Iris Glacier (Mother) - Iris Glacier was perhaps one of the most important people in Aarons life as a sailor before he was brought officially into the family pirate life at the age of 18. She taught him how to survive on his own and how to fight with a blade as well as never to let someone view him as trash because of the family he was born into. She and Aaron had a very close relationship with each other and would readily back each other up when in need. Before she died Aaron was a lot more merciful and hesitant, after her death however Aaron had a subtle change in personality and grew darker which would eventually allow his father to turn him into a cold blooded killer. Iris used to always tease Aaron about his white hair despite him getting it from her.
Cyrus Glacier (Father) - Cyrus Glacier was perhaps the main one responsible for making Aaron who he is today. He taught Aaron how to be a fearless warrior and taught him to aggressify his fighting style saying one day Aaron would probably be the most lethal pirate the Glacial Wolf Pirates has ever seen. While Iris wanted Aaron to be a proud and merciful man Cyrus wanted a ruthless son who was feared throughout the seas. After Iris died Cyrus overwritten her teachings and turned Aaron into a emotionally cold wreck. Aaron both feared and respects his father because of this. Cyrus eventually died during a mutiny which led to his demise and the extinction of the Glacial Wolf Pirates save for Aaron who had somehow survived the ordeal despite having two swords ran through his chest.
FRIENDS
Aerostein Epitaph - One of Aaron's closest friends and perhaps the one he talks to the most. Aerostein seems to be the one who understands Aaron's personality the most despite knowing very little about him and his past. The two regularly hang out and it would seem they are best friends or close. Many of Aeros friends however question if Aaron really is a friend of Aero's especially Deverell Jinx after asking Aaron if he even cared whether Aerostein had died if his sword had impaled him a bit lower from the shoulder doing their duel to which Aaron just walked away without giving a reply. After Aerostein and Aaron patched up their relationship it would seem another obstacle lately has pushed them into borderline enemies but that would change once Aerostein happened to come across S'imba and Aaron in Zanr'ak exhausted and bruised. After they escaped the two would become friends again.
Nysarias Ylrah - Perhaps the closest person to Aaron out of everyone. Aaron met Nysarias in the quicksand while talking to another friend. The two share a close relationship that Aaron is so strong about he got extremely depressed when he couldn't save Nysarias from her imprisonment along with Zanz and Aran. Despite their family like relationship people assume that Aaron and Nysa have a "thing" going on between the two despite the fact that Nysa has already been in a relationship with a roe named Zanz even before she met Aaron. Nevertheless Aaron views the Miq'ote as "The sister I never had." And is very protective of her.
Deverell Jinx - A male Miq'ote that loves to tease Aaron and call him "idiot." The two share an odd relationship, even though Deverell swears up and down he doesn't like Aaron even as a friend when the two get near each other it's obvious Deverell likes Aaron as a friend and is a bit watchful of him. However they have disagreements every so often.
Berrod Armstrong - Not exactly good friends but Aaron has a high deal of respect for Berrod especially after he and the Highlands tore each other to pieces in a fight. Though Berrod said it was a draw after the battle, Aaron however believes deep down he lost and thus wants a rematch. He also noticed he and Berrod act a lot alike.
S'vett Tia - Not much to say on Aaron and S'vett friendship other than the fact Aaron likes to tease S'vett about his fear of monsters and how he's always running around the place like he's lost his mind. The two do hang out with another Miq'ote named S'imba when they have time though.
S'imba Tia - Aaron views S'imba as a borderline little brother after they're recent hanging out. At first the two didn't seem to like each other at the least but they've been getting acquainted with tolerating each other and even became friends. They would soon venture out together to lead a tag team assault on Zanr'ak against the Amaljee and their quest would take a wild turn after they got captured. Still even when it looked bleak the two stuck through the hard times and eventually escaped with Aerostein Epitaph and Crisiet. Because of S'imba Aaron would also become good friends with the Miq'ote Vash Ashford and Raik Samil.
Neutral/Enemies
Niklas Gran - Aaron came across Nik one day at the quicksand as the guy wanted Aaron to help kick start his FC. Once the thing was set up at first Aaron didn't seem to tolerate Niks upbeat attitude much even calling him a spoiled brat, but after a faire in Limsa Aaron began to see Nik wasn't as bad as he thought, even to the point Aaron would go up against a opponent Nik lost to in the grindstone just to make the guy happy. However when Nik challenged Aaron to a spar afterwards Aaron already deteriorating in fighting spirit and his resolve due to personality problems and a moral crisis, would take on Nik knowing he was in no mental condition to carry out a fight which would ultimately cause Aaron to lose. This loss pissed Aaron off and now he's got a bit of animosity towards Nik for beating him. Aaron steady believes Nik caught him on a bad day and will not rest until he gets his rematch. Their spar showcased the darker side of Aaron as during the bout Aaron yelled out to Nik enormously that the two are not equals and that Aaron is superior. It is unknown as of now on what's causing this attitude in Aaron.
Pets - Fenrir the Wolf Pup - One day while returning to his home in Upper La Noscea, Aaron would stumble across the age old feud between wolves and coeurls at a territory war in the backwater parts of the island. He saw a lone wolf pup about to be mauled by a coeurl that had just killed its mother, Aaron however for some reason stepped in and killed the cat saving the puppy. Afterwards the young wolf started to follow Aaron everywhere he went in the woods until Aaron after a few days of caring for it eventually took it in as a pet. He named it Fenrir after a mythological wolf and the two keep each other company moreso than members of their own species.Fenrir has a red bandana owned once by Aaron's bloodline tied around his neck.

Glacial Wolf Pirates (Wiped out) - The bloodline pirate band Aaron was born intoand affiliated with. Not much is known about them but if trusted enough by Aaron he infers through his words the band of pirates were feared by most merchant ships, apparently there even was a bad omen line yelled out when they were near. "When you see icy waters and hair of white, flee or fight it matters not you're still dying tonight!". Their flag was a large mountain like picture of a iceberg.

- Aaron's fighting skills have increased dramatically since his arrival in Ul'Dah. He went from fighting with one sword and a dagger on occasion, clumsily dodging blows and barely holding up in a fight, to now carrying a entire assortment of blades in a sheath on his lower back being easily able to dual wield any blade and scatter the swords around turning the battlefield into his own weapon.

- Aaron's favorite element is ice as expected from his namesake. His cursed sword Trinity also has ice materia ironically and was discovered in Coerthas.
- Aaron's sword Trinity has a nasty curse, whatever damage it inflicted if not immediately healed becomes permanent. The wounds it inflicts are known to ooze a sticky black ooze.
