Years of training left the Ala Mhigan with a body shape fitting for a Fist of Rhalgr. Far from overly muscular or masculine, Ave does have a feminine shape to her appearance; one she is very much aware of, and not afraid to flaunt either. Self-assurance in her posture and manners are as a second nature to the highlander woman.
Like a properly trained Ala Mhigan woman, Ave doesn't have much in terms of her chest. After all, how many women who came from the mountain clans remain have their soft curves after being trained from a young age, especially a Fist of Rhalgr? That is not to say she lacks alluring features; rigorous training, and together with the fact she had multiple children in her past, she gained a generous amount of hips and thighs. All in all, Ave looks the part of being born from selective breeding between her forefathers clans; they clearly valued fit, tall and strong stock over the fairer, shorter or curvy sort what sooner would belong to Midlanders.
After having spent as much time in the Thanalan sun as she did, whereas she was once more of the fairer complexions, she find a herself having a proper tan in the past years - a thing what gives her a bit of an odd contrast due to her fiery red hair, albeit dyed brown currently, and green eyes to go with it.
Her hair is often kept into a messy pony tail or sorts, simply due to preferring not to have it sweep in her face during combat. However if someone were to convince her to brush it and let it down, one would figure out the Monk has rather long thick hair. Whereas many male highlanders shave off their eyebrows, Ave keeps them thinly trimmed instead, giving her a more aggressive look then when she would let her eyebrows run their course. Next to that she doesn't exactly shy away from slapping too much black eyeshadow and eyeliner on her face either.
Been in quite some fights, brawls and wars over the past few decades, she owns a few scars here and there on her body, but nothing what would draw instantly attention, with the exception of a brandmark underneath her right foot. Naturally like any woman who had children, Ave does have several stretchmarks due to it, but thankfully for her they have mostly faded over the years. Not that Ave truly minds, as most of her blemishes are worn with pride or as a reminder of a lesson in the past.
Often she can be found wearing her religious garbs. If dressed differently, Ave still wears her Monk Soulstone on a leather cord around her neck, next to a gifted Sunstone necklace.
At best she is bit on the taller end of female Highlanders, but certainly not towering above her male counter parts. Ave is simply said, a true and proper Ala Mhigan woman born and bred for combat. An appearance that may be an acquired taste for non-Ala Mhigans.
While on first glance Avelyn look like your typical, drunken, cursing, brawling Ala Mhigan, certainly somewhere she has a heart of gold hidden away somewhere. Often mistaken for having an abrasive personality, Ave is drop dead honest with everyone she meets; whether it always works in her favour is left to question, but the fierce highlander certainly isn't dying to hold her tongue.
Despite being as blunt as a hammer, Avelyn is genuinely enjoyable to be around for the people who can endure her attitude, not that she particularly tries to be good company, but Ave simply has a knack for being social. However, as easy as it is to get on her good side, it is just as easy to become the target her ire. Questions about the Fist of Rhalgr beyond simple ones, especially from non-Ala Mhigans are often met with hostility. In truth anyone trying to pry into her past, speak of the Fist of Rhalgr in a disrespectful manner, or her children will probably be greeted with hostility, if not a fist to the jaw after several warnings.
But if one manages to find her in her better moods, and managed to draw her interest to some degree, they will soon figure out that she enjoys her flirting and other endeavours overly much. To some she may come across as a bit aggressive in that department. Perhaps it is an odd Ala Mhigan trait to be direct on such subjects, or perhaps it is just Ave who's a passionate woman at heart. Without a doubt Ave is everything but a delicate shy wallflower when it comes down to these things.
Often prone to end up in brawls, random scraps and spars thanks to her taunting nature, it is more likely one gains respect by sparring her then trying to worm their way out of it, even if they lose. Winning or losing seem to matter little to Avelyn, with of course a few exceptions, as she thrives onto the thrill of battle itself.
When it comes down to her stance in life, Ave is a firm believer you can lay claim whatever you desire if you managed to do such, and it being yours as long you can hold onto it by whatever way they see fit. From relationships, who she denies to have in the first place, to taking property, gil, or anything else you can name it, this seems to be her core philosophy. After all Rhalgr yields for no one, nor will His priestess. If it can be helped.

Avelyn's mother and guidance. Up until she died that is. Ave sees her mother as some divine creature with no flaws about her, but it couldn't be further from the truth. Gwendolyn was an extremely harsh and selfish individual around others, having no qualms to give her daughter the same treatment. Ave however saw this all as strict and affectionate way of parenting, not realising her own mother is the source of a lot of Ave's current issues in regards of trust in her partners or friends.

Avelyn's father. While she had little desire to get to know him, and he was genuinely an awful person, he did try however to make some sort of peace with his children. That doesn't mean it was quite successful. Ave despises the Corpse Brigade member for a myriad of reasons. It is safe to say Ave doesn't like talking about her father, and ever since the purge of the Fists, she has forsaken his clan name in favour for others.
♥ Shana Strongarm
One of Avelyn's half-siblings. Friendly with one another, and very much aware of the fact they are half-siblings, Ave and Shana for the most part lived very different lives with very little in common. Shana after all was no Fist, and Ave mostly resided within her temples after all. That said, both women have lots of daddy issues, a thing they both barely speak of, even with one another.
While it is arguable whether he showed up at the right time, Ave is first and foremost happy to have a Brother back in her life. However Adun's affections towards her are at times a tad overwhelming in her eyes let alone the sheer amount of jealously the man possesses when it comes down to her. She's trying her best to make it work despite having no real plan or idea how to handle someone being as strongly affectionate and daresay possessive as Adun. Not that Ave isn't less guilty of being jealous, what only complicates their relationship further.
The Garlean and the Fist have anything but stable interaction. While for a time the two appeared to be happy together, after a botched marriage proposal, the two finally split up by Franz his choosing, leaving Avelyn terribly conflicted on the matter. Left to deal with unrequited love, Ave isn't exactly handling that all that well. From shouting, to snatching things away from him, to flat threatening him, Ave is clearly not knowing how to handle rejection by someone she loves. Anyone who has spoken with the woman to some degree on the matter knows that Ave is absolutely heartboken over this.
Strongly disliking him at the start, due to some odd twist of fate, the two became a couple of sorts. Sadly enough due to Ave's chaotic lovelife, and Erioch basically appearing at an unstable time for Ave, their relationship has sort of taken a halt. That is not to say they are not friends no longer, that would be far from the truth, the two merely decided to take things as they come and leave it with that.
Her partnership of sorts with her 'Shroud Flower', as Ave tends to call him affectionately, is Avelyn's longest standing relationship currently. Whereas Ave hasn't forgotten about his absence moons ago, she surely has forgiven him. Avelyn doesn't admit it flat out, she certainly has feelings for the man, however she isn't aware what those feelings exactly entail. Regardless she appreciates him as a close friend first and foremost, despite Adun trying to sabotage their relationship to some degree.

If you as the player cannot respect my wishes on actions have consequences on this matter, I will simply retcon and we will happily part ways.
