About Emadra:

Appearance

Emadra stands tall for a female Miqo'te, and she is built a little more curvy than most. Her tail is a bit short, with slightly longer fur at the tip. Her claws on her hands and feet are always in great condition, sharp and shining. Just from a glimpse most people wouldn't suspect she was a well known Chocobo breeder and raiser.

Her eyes are bright golden amber in color, with long lashes to frame them. Her hair is typically a natural red-auburn color, It is of medium length, pulled into a pony tail with bangs to frame her round, curvy face. Her face appears to have green tones under her eyes, revealing tiny vines inside the color.

She has a wonderful voice, that can hit almost any note; though she's very shy when it comes to singing. As long as she has loved ones around her, the nervousness disappears. Emadra also carries an accent that seems influenced by country-folk from long ago in Gridania.

History

No one knows about Emadra's true past. She tends to keep the past in the past, no matter the situation.

Emadra was raised in a small village in the heart of the Black Shroud that no longer exists because of defilement within the town that enraged the greenwrath. She was young when her town was destroyed, and since then she has been away from her family; not knowing whether they live or if they met the same fate as many others did that day. She has little memory of her past, except the significance of the feather earring that dangles from her left ear. The people of Gridania found Emadra before the creatures of the forest got to her, and had set her through the purification rights to "protect" her against the greenwrath.

Emadra went back to the location of her old village in later years, only to find that it was still dead in the area from all of the fire. No grass, no trees, no anything. She found a steel door of some sort in the ground, and kicked it open, finding a secret stash to her father's old alcohol recipe, and lots of it, filled in mason jars; which now she saves for special people, or friends, and let's them drink it. She mostly does this for fun, giggling at how drunk everyone gets from just a few sips.

It has been quite a few years since then, and Emadra has been training to become a grand healer for the Gridanians even after surviving The Calamity, and hopes to one day be the greatest chocobo rancher there is, but for now, she has to worry about her new family within The Order of the Sword and Rose.

A Travelling Miqo'te's history:

Some bullet points of Emadra's history as a travelling Chocobo Rancher.

• She once spent a whole year on the ocean. She sailed on a ship big enough for her and the two chocobos she had at the time, and was well welcomed after showing the Pirates she road with that she was a champion drinker. She soon made friends with the lot of them after showing her drinking skills, by giving each a secret brew of her family - which is well known between few now.

• Emadra spent much time in Ul'dah, struggling for food and water due to running out of gil for feed for her chocobos. She once had to beg for water; but her chocobo, River, learned to hunt just to find her food at one point which struck her inspiration to teach chocobos how to battle and heal.

• She left for months to search for her now burnt down village inside the Black Shroud, which lead her to disappear randomly soon after.

• Has once visited Doma, but it was by airship, and they didn't stay long. (I wonder why...)

Personality

Seems like everyday may be sunny and beautiful, being around Emadra, that is. She's got some sort of aura that just makes people happy through her happiness. Emadra is very happy-go-lucky, but when the going gets tough, she can become serious in a split second. It's not hard to read her because of this. If something is wrong, it's hardly not noticeable. One might think it as a downfall, but Emadra is extremely protective of anyone she cares for; including anyone in The Order of the Sword and Rose, even if they are new to the Order and she barely knows them.

Emadra and the Green Wrath

Now, after many years of research, Emadra decided to search for the deep dark secrets behind the Green Wrath.

It destroyed her life, killed her family and friends, and that's all she cares about. She wants to find out what caused all of this chaos in her life, and plans on getting rid of it, no matter what it takes...

After many more months of her continued research, Emadra has found her family was known to practice beastmastery and shapeshifting; powers thought to have been extinct in these days of Eorzea. She will continue to learn more to benefit all around her, even the animals she cares for at the ranch.

She is now known as a healing druid and a beastmaster.
