Tattoo: There is an exquisite and detailed black tattoo upon her neck, depicting a raven in flight.

Scars: The odd nicks and healed gashes can be seen here or there, upon her cheeks or arms. The most prominent scar but certainly not easily discerned due to her tendency to keep covered, is the wretched brand of an 'S' burned into the flesh of her lower back.


Confidence, this young woman was absolutely brimming with it. Tall and regal, she bore a gait that bespoke of utmost precision, hips swaying just so in a sensual manner yet appearing akin to that of a majestic prowl. Sharp, angular features portrayed a countenance befitting that of high birth, softened only by full, supple lips and the thick, dark lashes that framed her vibrant amber eyes. Deepest of raven locks were often held fast, bound into a thick tail, or braided intricately to keep her vision clear, complementing the delicate, sun-kissed complexion of her skin. Her gaze, reminiscent of the most feral of creatures, beheld a certain scrutiny, sharp, daunting but not without its own sense of intrigue, easily offset by the audacious grin that found her lips quite frequently.

As fair and as striking as she might be, beautiful in her own right, such qualities were no more than mere trivialities in comparison to the arsenal comprised of her livelihood. Every piece had its rhyme or reason, its own place and its own specific purpose. Her long, lean form had been outfitted in disparate pieces of banded leather and cloth, composed of various belts and sashes, some transfixed with an outer layer of filigree that spoke volumes of its origin, exquisite in make with its silver embellishments and sylvan motifs upon backdrops of shadow in hues of black and red. While detailed the armor appears soft and supple, worn well over time and despite the close fit it seems to be comfortable, allowing for ease of movement. A retinue of weapons often accompanied her, varying in purpose as well as shapes and sizes. A pair of small blades were fitted within her armor, a sheath hidden within the leathers, the hilts crafted just so to blend with the meticulous detailing. Upon her hips rested a pair of fine crafted daggers, further accompanied by an impeccable long barrel pistol. Each weapon was crafted expertly, just as detailed and exquisite as her attire, etched and embellished and handled with great care. Beneath the armor her skin was marked by the faintest hint of scarring, along the curve of her collarbone and the odd nicks or pink lines about her arms, any additional scars remained hidden from sight.

While not one to speak often she is not afraid to voice her thoughts, however blunt and sarcastic they may come across. Her voice is very soft and subtle, of a natural husky quality that is both alluring and sweet despite her attitude. The subtle aroma of spice clings to her, along with an uncommon but sweet floral hint, joined in a strange harmony with maintained leather and alcohol.


Life among her people taught Evelina to fight, scrape and kick for everything and steal what was not willfully given. There was no time for rest, only for training and work that needed doing. This constant action and movement has instilled in her a certain level of discomfort if she remains in any one place for too long. Circumstances of her history often leave her pensive and suspicious, unwilling to trust easily though she puts on a good face.

Cold Nights While some might wish away the cold and dream of hot summers and tropical locals, Eve is at home in Ishgard with a profound love of snow.
Sweet Tooth The Smuggler may appear to be all business and no-nonsense but is secretly fond of indulging in an assortment of sweets on the rare occasion that they are available. Anything from delicious baked goods like cookies or brownies to exquisite chocolates and candies, she loves them all!

Cold Resistance Years spent in Ishgarde and weathering the relentless storms have allowed Evelina to build up a bit of an affinity for the cold. What might leave others quivering and quaking and wishing for the sun barely phases the woman and rarely impedes her work.
Stubborn If one thing was for certain, it was her determination to complete an objective, to ensure that no matter the consequences, the ultimate directive is successful. This renders the woman with an incredibly stubborn determination to survive and succeed against the odds. This usually arises in her stubbornness to forge ahead even when injured.

H O B B I E S

Gambling What began as a favorite past-time ultimately became a habit and so when the Smuggler is not focused upon her duties as a Bartender or working a job, she'll usually be found in speakeasies and private establishments, testing her luck.
Drinking One does not simply work in a bar and avoid drinking it whole. While in the beginning she detested the taste of the bitters and spirits, after spending some time behind the counter she became accustomed to it and tends to prefer it over anything else now.
Eavesdropping As a bartender one becomes privvy to information, to personal lives and secrets best left unspoken when tongues are loosened by the drink. Evelina has developed a profound interest in learning the quirks of others, let alone the details that might tip her off to some potential business down the road.

Accent Years spent among the riff raff of society seem to have forced the woman to adapt in order to blend in, utilizing shortcuts in speech and sounding downright vulgar!

Armaments

Longknives: An exquisite pair of identical blades graced her hips, formed of an impeccable ebon steel, etched and carved with intricate silver detailing upon the flat. The handles were woven and lined with fine black leather intertwined with silver filigree and the pommels shaped into unfurled raven wings.


Pistol: Born of fine steel and ebony, the long barrel pistol was a work of art. Intricate etchings lined every inch of the barrel and frame, and the hammer was shaped into a tiny skull. Each ebony panel was smooth and integrated with fine silver filigree.


Throwing Knives: Each knife was tiny enough to fit in the palm of her hand, the length barely challenging that of her longest finger. A flash of silver and rosewood, the points were needle thin and sharp enough to prick the skin at the slightest touch.


Boot Knife: Tucked safely between the sole and leather covers over her boot was nestled a thin and pointed blade, though it was clear from the worn nature of the boots that they had seen better days. A few kicks might be necessary before the blade is of any real use.

Personal Effects

An Old Compass: Fashioned of silver, the old compass appeared well worn, with scuffs and dents marring its surface and allowing once pristine carvings and details to fade. Every once in a while the needle will stop pointing in the right direction, but a well placed smack on a table or other hard surface will generally correct any issues.


Gem-encrusted Flask: The flask does not appear to be all that different from the old compass, worn and aged with noticeable scrapes and nicks through the steel plating. What was once an exquisite design upon the surface, boasting garnets and rubies transfixed amidst coiling filigree was now scuffed, the details eroded and worn, and only a few gems seemed to remain in place. The cap attachment appears to have long since broken, the sharp edges causing the young woman to wince whenever she plays with it too much. Strangely enough, though the flask accompanies her everywhere she goes, she does not appear to drink from it, nor does it sound as if it is filled with anything at all.


Deck of Cards: Tucked safely within an old ammunition's satchel, the deck of cards seems to have spent many a night within the taverns of Eorzea. Aged and weather-worn the cards have taken on a yellowish hue, creased and faded with time. Though folds and obvious indicators have since rendered the deck useless for sport, she appears to handle them with particular care, taking them out and shuffling them only when boredom seems to have taken its toll.

Savona Drake: Evelina came across the young soldier during her nights as a bartender, serving the woman and her comrades after a day of hard work. She paid witness to the subtle cruelties of her kin and sought to take the girl under her wing and look after her in her own way. While they are still merely acquaintances to some, Eve knows that Savona is one of the most upstanding and trustworthy people she has ever met.

  • Long Story Arcs - Long Term Role Play With a history of developing many long term storylines, some going back as far as 10 years, these tend to be my absolute favorite, and I am always looking for those of a similar mind looking to make a lasting tale.
  • Short and Sweet While long term may be my preference that will not keep me from enjoying the welcome diversities that short term acquaintances have to offer! From tavern escapades to bumping into someone in an alley, all provide fantastic opportunities to make great connections.
  • Mature Content As one interested in leading some dark and dramatic tales I would be remiss not to mention that I am open to such things. Content of a graphic nature from violence(gruesome battle, torture, abuse etc), language and romantic relations are fair game so long as they make sense for the storyline. Have any concerns whether or not something will fly? Feel free to ask me first!
  • Theft/Skullduggery Eve will take any jobs related to theft, artifact recovery, treasure hunting and scouting/spying. Also as an outlaw herself, Eve would easily be open to receiving the same treatment and would likely take it in stride. Simply message with your intent and we'll see how it plays out!
Not Acceptable
  • Nonsensical I will not RP that which does not make sense for my character or for the storyline at hand, if it is out of realistic boundaries within the setting or character and preferences.
  • Perma-death/Maiming Unless the details have been previously discussed on an OOC basis, I will not accept nor recognize any attempts on the life of my character, or those that would result in permanent injury.
