Basic Info

Nathaniel is a carefree miqo’te who prefers to tease and flatter people than chide or ridicule. He is easily amused with people, though his humor is lost on others from time to time. Nathaniel will often use his charms to get people to do as he pleases or to wiggle his way out of sticky situations, which can make it difficult to tell when he’s being sincere with his feelings.

Having no exceptional skills with weaponry, he aided his pack by gathering and harvesting from the fields, periodically thieving from the residents of Ul’dah. He overstepped on one occasion, getting caught in the act in the Gold Court. Facing the possibility of being sent to the Coliseum (where he’d surely not last long) to pay off anything else he might have stolen over time, Nathaniel fled Ul’dah and Thanalan, crossing the sea to arrive in Limsa Lominsa. Though leaving his family and pack upset him, he ultimately knew that it was for the best in order to keep them from suffering for his crimes. Upon arriving in Limsa Lominsa, he shed his birth name and adopted a Highlander name to make tracking him more difficult.

Periodically, Nathaniel will travel back to Ul’dah in hopes of catching glimpses of his pack and family, though he treads lightly when he’s there and is often uneasy about the trips.

Relatives

While L'tehz left his family in Ul'dah, he and other members of the Gullwings have kept in touch with them from time to time.

L'leytai Dhen | Older sister, still resides in the Ul'dah region. Has one daughter currently, L'cidjaa.

L'telihgo Dhen | Younger sister, currently a conjurer at Fallgourd Float. Was quite attune to nature and often got upset if Nathan was clumsy around plants. With the aide of Aran'sae, Nathan has recently gotten back in touch with L'telihgo, which has been a mixed blessing for him.

Relationships

Aran'sae Dia | Unsure | Aran'sae and Nathan had a rocky start, though they did eventually develop what Nathan thought were mutual feelings for one another. Aran'sae's departure from the Gullwing house without a word to him, however, left Nathan extremely hurt and emotionally wounded.

Baithin Alberona | Friend | Though Nathan was originally quite jealous of Baithin's passion for life, music, knowledge and just about everything, he's become quite fond of the bard. Nathan wants nothing more than for his friend to be happy - and above all else - safe.

Byrmstyrn Barabennwyn (Tree Star) | Acquaintance | While they've only met a few times, Nathan quickly learned not to trust just about anything that Tree Star might actually tell him. Especially when it comes to Mhastoum and the number of limbs he has.

C'sanhsa Tia | Acquaintance | Nathan finds the architect amusing to talk with, though he has a certain jealousy of the fact that C'sanhsa not only has a passion for building, but also the ability to do amazing work. Regardless, he's a fan of C'sanhsa and the work he does.

Gogonegi Porrogo | Friend | Another Lalafell within the Gullwings that Nathaniel has taken a fondness to. Much to Aran'sae's dismay, Nathan has made it his goal to get Little Gogo drunk on any and all occasions that he can. Nathan views Gogo almost like a little brother, and is quite pleased with Gogo's recent adventures to Limsa Lominsa.

Mhastoum Greinsyn | Friend | Originally perplexed with the large Roegadyn, Nathan has formed a unique friendship with Mhastoum, though he has quickly learned not to bluff with him, as Mhastoum will call him out on it.

Mipije Papije | Friend | Nathaniel has a certain fondness for the Lalafell and his sense of curiosity. Nathaniel met Mip-Map on a small trip to Ul'dah while the Lalafell was doing research, and is how Nathaniel heard of the Gullwings.

Pimrhi Dia | Unsure | For a long while Nathan was quite afraid of Pimrhi, but upon his departure from the Gullwings, Nathan found himself actually feeling bad about leaving her alone. He hopes that Pimrhi will one day be at peace.

Arae'sae Evlo | Friend | Nathan was always rather intrigued with Arae'sae's living arrangements, though he wouldn't actually admit that out loud. He's very fond of Arae'sae, finding a peace when he's with the other miqo'te that he does not readily find with others.

Currently wiggled his way into a place with the Gullwings, and is hoping to stay with them for quite a while.
