Niobe Ondine

Niobe Ondine is a young woman who recently found herself to be of Thavnairian descent. Much of her early years, including her birth family, are unknown to her. She was raised by Clutchfather Novv for a number of summers due to special circumstances, and eventually taken into the Phoenix Archive by a Naih'a Ithihoh. When things went downhill and Naih'a vanished, the rest of the Phoenix Archive along with a Myath Sochen went on to form the Stellazzio Remnants. She had left for a short period of time to achieve her goal of becoming an Archmage, but found she had biologically low reserves of Aether, and magicks in general were killing her. She ended up in Ishgard, saved by the Machinist Guildmaster and brought into their ranks with promise of a way to manage her aether as a temporary solution. She eventually rejoined the Remnants in a mission to follow leads on Naih'a's whereabouts, taking them as far as Azys Lla. There, she found a Soul of the Summoner, and along with it her calling. At present, she seeks to find information about her birth family.
After finding out she was Thavnairian, she tries to keep her wardrobe as akin to that as possible. Apart from that, she has an outfit that is similar in contrast to something she read in literature known as a Red Mage. She has Blue hair that is often kept rather short. In terms of height, she's about the average of a typical Midlander Hyur Woman. No scars or outstanding tattoos.
Headstrong. Mouthy. Intellectual Niobe takes after Naih'a in the sense that she has a mouth on her that often gets her in trouble. She's a quick thinker who always has something to say, though she can tend to be more bark than bite. Only when she feels a person is toxic to her or her loved ones' health will her teeth bare, and she'll go through all the stops to see and end brought to the opposition. She has a painfully soft spot when it comes to the Beastmen in general. Being raised by Sahagin, and serving as a diplomat for other neutral tribes, she tolerates very little when it comes to insulting her misunderstood friends.

Niobe fights first and foremost with her mind. She'll often prod at her opponent with words to provoke a response, see how they act and the likelihood of them going in a frenzy. Beyond that, she fights with her spells and tonics. Though limited in what spells she can use outside of the Arcane arts, she isn't against pushing herself beyond her normal boundaries if the foe is worth it.
Here is a list of recent and/or notable fights, roleplay scenes, etc. that CHARACTER has been a part of. This list is by no means all inclusive, and serves more as a general reference as to what HE/SHE has been up to.
Born in Thavnair, much of her early childhood is unknown to her. All she does know is she was abducted by pirates, who were in turn raided by Novv's pack whilst at sea. With much of the captives saved and returned home, only Niobe had no knowledge of where her home was. Upon hearing this, Novv reluctantly took her into his Clutch and raised her. As the summers passed, she found her affinity to water and became known as the Bane of Leviathan. Still at a young age, she left and sought to challenge Leviathan, but found herself surrounded by Sahagin. Just as things seemed grim, Naih'a Ithihoh saved her and took her from the area, not knowing she was residing with the neutral Sahagin. Not being able to take her in, he dropped her off at the Conjurer's Guild as an orphan, saying she had potential to become a skilled Conjurer. Further summers passed, and she was inducted to Naih'a's Free Company, the Phoenix Archive, whilst still in training. Shortly after, the Free Company and all its members were apprehended. Niobe narrowly escaped and was eventually met by Aea Taharka. The two set out and after Naih'a's disappearance, brought Selphie Terrra and Tomorluu Arulaq along, forming the Stellazzio Remnants with Myath Sochen as their leader. Upon finding out Tomorluu was linked to Naih'a's disappearance, and after apprehending and capturing the Au Ra, Niobe was told that she was practically a slave. That her perceived upbringing was entirely false. This threw her into a rage, which she took out on Myath Sochen. She left before recovering from that fight, and sought to become an Archmage on her own account.
She was already relatively adept in Conjury, and before long came into contact with a forbidden tome, which taught her the rites to use Holy. Abusing this, she also found how limited her aether reserves were. On top of the spell taking its toll on her life force, it also inflicted her with Aetherial poisoning. Extraordinarily weak, she managed to make it to Ishgard, where she collapsed near the Brume. Stephanivien, leader of the Machinist Guild, found and nursed her back to moderate health, and offered a way for her to manage her aether. Thusly, she became a Machinist while recovering. Once she found herself at a point where she could venture on her own once more, she went to help the many city states make peace with the beast tribes for a time. Becoming an adept diplomat for the many tribes, she came across Aea and Selphie, who found a lead on Naih'a that led into Azys Lla. Upon venturing there, she found her Soul of the Summoner, and with it a brooding secret involving something called the Warring Triad.
These are mostly backstory-related relationships.

Overall, I'm pretty chill as far as guidelines go. I don't have an extensive list of 'Do's or 'Don't's or things that I personally find triggering. So chances are, you won't offend me or make me uncomfortable unless you're trying to or just being really skeevy in general.
