X'rihxo Matoi, better known as simply Rihxo or Miss Matoi to some, was born on the 24th Sun of the 1st Astral Moon. Rihxo grew up with a quiet enough life in Limsa Lominsa, training under her parents in the manner of the bow. The oldest of her four siblings, Rihxo always had an optimistic look on life, and left home fairly early on, followed by her youngest sister X'rhoxi. Now, Rihxo aims to brighten the spirits of all she meets in Eorzea, be it through song or through her natural charisma.

Rihxo is a Miqo'te who is "often described as 'adorable', y'know?". She has one visible eye, which is her right eye; it is emerald green. As for her left eye, it is always covered by a charcoal grey eyepatch, save for when she is showing someone the eye, which is "cut up sonething fierce". She has two white markings under her eyes alongside the brown stripes near her temples and on her forehead. Her hair is fairly long, some of it always pulled back in a braid of gray-blue locks. The rest frames her face in a messily cute way, the waves accenting her nicely. Rihxo's body was naturally rather curvy, boasting a larger bust than most and thick, muscular legs adapted to many days of travel. Her voice is usually rather upbeat and happy toned, though a deeper pitch than what one might expect from her demeanor. When angered, it tends to get higher pitched, which doesn't help her in the slightest. Given the title of "Candy Cat", Rihxo always smells of various kinds of sweets, most notably chocolate.

Personality

Rihxo is very easy to get along with, mostly due to her eternal optimism. As a child, she had plenty of social interaction piled atop naturally occuring charisma. Thus, getting along with Rihxo at first is a simple task, so long as you're not rude and can deal with her somewhat ditzy rambling.

As Rihxo becomes closer to someone, she will begin to open up about the darker parts of her past, be it her eye or other things she doesn't ever enjoy speaking about. Her optimism is still there, but to a less intoxicating degree. (Or maybe you're just getting a tolerance?)

On the job, Rihxo actually quiets down for once, and usually lets whoever is leading her (typically Nanagi) do the talking.

Weapons

Rihxo's signature weapon is her bow, which she's grown very adept with over the years. Recently, she has begun formal training in the Archer's Guild, and has been further honing her already adept skills. Recently, she got a new bow from the Maelstrom, delivered to her by Valen Stalhart. She has been practicing with it when she has a chance, finding it to be rather similar to her old one in the ways of weight, grip, and tension.

Magic

Rihxo has a bare minimum understanding of magic, since she never really learned about any of it. As such, any questions about magic would best be directed to her sisters - specifically Rhoxi.

Crafting

Rihxo is unsure as to what crafts she wants to take up (other than improving her culinary skills), but she does have an interest in weaving and carpentry so that she can make clothing and create new bows.

Relatives

X'rohni Matoi: Rihxo was fairly close to her mother before the Calamity hit. Has not been seen since that time.

X'matoi Nunh: Rihxo's father was the man that originally trained her to use a bow. Also gone since the Calamity. Misses him deeply.

X'rhoxi Matoi: Rihxo's youngest sister often follows her around like a 'lost chocobo chick', but recently she's grown a bit more independent and has been taking up weaving. She is still shy, though, and is most seen in the shadow of Rihxo. Most adept with cooking meat.

X'ratoh Matoi: Rihxo's middle sister. Twin of Rahwa. An alchemist and cook, Ratoh is cool, aloof, and collected - the kind of girl Rihxo wanted and still somewhat wants to be. A master of making various cakes.

X'rahwa Matoi: Rihxo's other middle sister. Twin of Ratoh. Rahwa often spends her time at the forge. She's rather stoic and introverted, save for around Ratoh. Most adept with detail work on the baked goods the sisters make.

X'R'theqe Matoi: Rihxo's only brother, who is one year younger than her. She doesn't see him often, since he only stops by the sisters' home in Limsa Lominsa a couple times a year. Incredibly strong and bulky for a Miqo'te.

Positive

Nanagi Nagi: Rihxo's first friend upon her arrival in Ul'dah. She and Nanagi often hunt Amal'jaa together, and sometimes do various kinds of mercenary work together as well. The lalafell might say some things that sting on occasion, but she knows that she means well.

Gil vel'Jendahr: Rihxo's boyfriend. A new relationship, but one she is happy in. She finds the height difference between them to be kind of hilarious.

Endel Blanche: A friend of herself and Gil. The mute Hyur is rather interesting to her, and she thinks under the aloof sort of vibe he gives off, he's actually rather sweet.

Caen Jabari: An acquaintance that Rihxo seems to find herself in the company in on occasion. The boy seems to have a bigger appetite for sweets (most notably cake) even more than she does.

Cindros Michael: An acquaintance that Rihxo hopes will work with herself and Nanagi on jobs.

Achillies Froste: An Elezen that Rihxo has a tendency to fluster unintentionally. She does think his smile is rather cute.

Raz Dreizehn: Described as "super cute" by her, Raz is a new, but very interesting friend of Rihxo's. She likes his tastes in alcohol, which is certainly a plus.

M'shi Mahji: A friend of Endel's who she was run into a time or two. Curious about her.

Valen Stalhart: The so-called "Glowy Man" finally has a name to him. Originally, he had given her a parcel from someone in the Maelstrom, containing armor and a weapon; now, the Maelstrom has send him to watch over her, for reasons unknown. This intrigues her, and she does intend to find out the reasoning behind it.

Birth and childhood (0-10)

Rihxo was the first born out of all of her siblings in Limsa Lominsa. She never got a taste of the tribal life, as her parents had decided to settle in the coastal city for reasons never really disclosed to Rihxo. It was a relatively peaceful time, with her brother R'theqe and the twins Ratoh and Rahwa born one year and three years after her, respectively. At age two Rihxo nearly fell off one of the walkways on the Upper Decks. At age five she would begin her homeschooling with her mother, and her youngest sister Rhoxi was born.

Teen Years

Rihxo's brother left for Ul'dah when she was thirteen to receive formal training as a pugilist. Rihxo began training under her father at age fourteen, and learned the ways of archery, which is her best skill as of late. Rhoxi also followed her around like a lost chocobo chick, which was something that would remain unchanged until Rhoxi turned about sixteen.

Adulthood

Rihxo had set out for Gridania to receive formal training with the archers there, her sister Rhoxi her shadow as always. However, on the way there, the Calamity hit, and thus the two had to return to Limsa Lominsa to ensure that their family had made it through alright. All of the siblings had made it out, but there was no sign of their parents. Rihxo likes to think that her parents are alive, just far away somewhere. But she knows this likely isn't true.

Rhoxi recently turned sixteen and began to take up weaving, leaving Rihxo to do things all on her own. She would make her way to Ul'dah, often finding there were many people to meet there in the Quicksand. Among these included Nanagi Nagi, Endel Blanche, and Gil vel'Jendahr, among others. They are the three she considers the ones she trusts the most, save for her siblings. Her formal training as an archer continues.
