Trin has a habit of licking people to taste who they are. He does this by tasting the aetherical make up of a person. He also is quite pleased with his ability to recreate some of his favorite tasting people as a tea. Trin spends most of his time at home in the Goblet. When he wants to get out, he visits the Quicksand in Ul’dah and people watches. On occasion, he can be found wandering elsewhere… Trin recently was given the opportunity to purchase the Northern Sky home. As such, he has taken the time to redo the layout and offers his home to the wayward souls he meets in his journeys that need a helping hand. He has pink hair with red eyes. He takes the appearance of his father, with his brother Vitari taking after their mother. Trin has decided that wearing his couerl briefs may not be appropriate anymore and has since taken a few lessons from his brother Xha'zi. He now wears more concealing clothing, yet is quite pleased with his plain skirt and the freedom it gives him. He quite proudly proclaims that Rhiannon Rose is a wizard with dyes as his now outfit matches his hair perfectly. Trin was very impacted by his early childhood and teenage years, and having come to understand how badly he misunderstood things now gives advice to those that seek it. Abilities/Skills Weapons When Trin takes a job, he carries his staff with him, and even when he’s wandering around, he usually has at least one dagger tucked into his belt. Magic Trin is very adept at healing magic, and is learning how to use what he tastes of a person’s aether to heal them. Crafting Trin specializes in botany, mining, and alchemy, an interest that he picked up early on from reading his mother’s journals. Mature themes follow Childhood Trin was born a city cat to a Seeker mother and a Keeper father. His mother was an alchemist and his father was a blacksmith. His mother died in childbirth, and his father blamed him for her death. The relationship Trin has with his father is not a very positive one. Trin found his mother's journals early on, and quickly became interested in alchemy and healing, as his mother had done. His older brother Vitari had left the house when Trin was 12 years old, and what little interaction Trin had, left with him. When Trin confronted Papa about Vitari's disappearance, he was told to "mind his own business" and never mention Vitari again. It was at this time that Trin started dating No'bhlick, who convinced Trin to run away with him. No'bhlick actually ran a sex slave ring, and Trin got stuck participating in the ring. Teenage Years Trin took to the sexual side of his duties fairly well, becoming proud of his abilities as a companion. It actually suited him quite well until he was 15. B'ala was a young lad brought into the den when Trin was 15. B'ala was a quiet soul that never did understand what was expected of him; a sweet, innocent child. Everytime B'ala was sold, Trin would have to heal him. After a year of this, Trin offered to teach B'ala what was expected of him. After sneaking away from the den one day, Trin and B'ala went to a waterfall near Gridania where Trin taught B'ala the way to please, and be pleased, through touch. But their momentary happiness was not to be... No'bhlick had followed Trin and B'ala, and in a single moment, grabbed B'ala by the throat, knowing Trin would follow behind. Once back to the den, No'bhlick forced Trin to beat B'ala to make an example of them. A few lashes in, and Trin entered a berserk state where what he remembers happening, wasn't what really happened. Trin remembers stopping after a few lashes and turning to attack No'bhlick, killing him in the process. But after Trin killed No'bhlick, he returns to his normal state only to find B'ala dead at his feet and No'bhlick with fear in his eyes watching him while being restrained by four other den-mates. Trin was quickly acknowledged as the second-in-command, and so, when No'bhlick died in a fight, Trin took over the den at the age of 17. Trin worked quickly to heal everyone physically, and as quickly as possible to heal everyone mentally. After a year, Trin decided it was time to disband the den, and sent everyone on their way. He then went looking for his brother, Vitari. Trin fairly quickly found his brother living amongst a company known as Northern Sky. Trin felt accepted there, enough that when Vitari moved on, Trin decided to stay behind. Early Adulthood Living in the company house, Trin fell into a routine. And it wasn't until he met Xha'zi Viqqoh and Kala Sutkarn that he started to realize how much he had been scarred from his time in the den. Xha'zi and Trin started experimenting with Trin's ability to taste a person's aether in the hopes that Trin can learn to develop the talent for more than just tasting who a person is, but also how they feel, their health status, and even how they've been trained. After a long night of science, Trin finally told Xha'zi about his experiences, and Xha'zi helped him understand that he didn't kill B'ala because he wanted to, but rather because he knew B'ala wouldn't survive and so Trin did the most kindly thing he could, at least let B'ala die at the hands of someone that cared about him. It was at this point that Xha'zi and Trin adopted each other as brothers and Xha'zi stays in Trin's room whenever he is around The Goblet. Trin shortly after meets M'shi Mahji, another member of the company, and he adopts her as his little sister. Xha'zi's adoptive sister Kala Sutkarn, had also been staying with Trin. Trin and Kala share a passion for tea and books. Kala had early on shared that she wished for a family, love and children, and through his interactions with Kala, Trin came to realize he wanted the same. It was quite a while later though that Trin and Kala were finally open with each other, Trin that he wants Kala to be his family, and Kala learning that someone out there does want her. After a lengthy journey abroad, Kala returned to Eorzea and Trin. After this separation, and with the relief of seeing Kala fresh in his mind, Trin asked Kala to marry him. Happily she said yes.
