Yappo Rappo (Say it with me: Yap-po Rap-po), a fanatic of the strangest caliber, an adherent of Oschon with the tell-tale itch for adventure and wanderlust. He also has the necessary zeal and charisma to rally a bunch of ordinary inn workers forward towards the heart of countless zany conflicts that no real inn worker should have to hassle with. Though, at the inn he manages, adventure is a foregone conclusion and antics just show up at the door regardless. The only saving grace? It pays really, really well. Though the mercurial manager has quite the storied past, nobody but he can really sift out the glimmers of truth that lie under every rumor, tale, and nugget of information.
An inn manager must be presentable, and when it comes to appearances, Yappo at least makes the attempt to be fashionable. All things considered - he is highly successful, but not because he's model material or looks good or anything. It's because everything covers up well enough. He has a number of scars from his youth that he keeps concealed through a variety of methods - makeup for those shallow lines on his face? No problem, hardly noticeable. That scar on the underside of his chin? He has a goatee over it. Shallow whip scars on the back? Really, who is going to see Yappo without a shirt, that would be undignified. (The whip scars are another story entirely, though.) Of course, that's not all it is when it comes to Yappo's physical 'charms' - he has dimples, I guess. And though he keeps them concealed, he also has laugh lines at his age. His general physique is uncommonly solid and built for a Lalafell - but speaking of his physique, it needs to be said that Yappo is around 4 fulms, which is not extremely common. It is two-and-a-quarters fulm over most Lalafell, and such growth in itself is an abnormality most common among unborn children whose mothers were exposed to levels of ambient aether slightly higher than healthy, an occurrence that lends itself to issues that have only recently been investigated. But that isn't completely relevant to the topic of Yappo, now is it? So, yes, Yappo is taller and bulkier than the average Lalafell, but considerable self-esteem issues have Yappo utilizing whatever he can to appear shorter at a glance. Posture adjustments, sitting or leaning and turning more often than standing straight, flatter shoes, certain clothes giving the illusion of being shorter than he actually is. Which, more often than not, actually pads his wardrobe with a variety of outfits, rather than limit it, as he's not totally ashamed of his height and will buy whatever fits within a certain range. So, that's a bonus. His wardrobe is mostly comprised of shirts and tunics of varying looseness, with only the most cloth-laden of them clasped together with leather bracers to curb back any billowing fabric. Yappo, being a self-styled scholarly man, also has a fair number of robes in similar styles; if it's not billowy, it's slimming - that's the sort of logic Yappo's wardrobe goes by, all in multiple colors. That is not a strict rule however, as Yappo has outfits and pieces of clothes that deviate sharply from that usual dynamic, often handed down or bought for incredibly specific purposes. (Such as, for example, a certain floppy red hat gifted from a close friend, his father's spencer, or a pair of scandalous underwear bought for Valentione's Day.)
Expressive. Knowledgeable. Pig-headed. Yappo is incredibly, incredibly stubborn and pig-headed, it is his crowning flaw. Among other crowning flaws and issues. But otherwise, Yappo has a heart of gold.

Yappo Rappo is a particularly well-rounded individual. He retains a lot of familiarity with dagger-play from his childhood and his maneuverability from his less wholesome days as a young adult - to which end he exercises constantly to keep his flexibility and strength up. His four fulm and relatively bulky build belie an interest in less martial styles, but his interests do lie firmly with scholarly work. Unfortunately, such pursuits are often reckless and endanger himself and others when put into practice - not only because Yappo is thick-headed and stubborn, but moreover because Yappo is genetically predisposed to aetheric imbalances in his body, massively crippling his capabilities. (Of course, the kicker is that it hasn't occurred to Yappo that his performance is not the issue, thus perpetuating a cycle of frustration and disappointment.) That being said, he is not incapable of magic. After all, he is still well-rounded, even if it's at the expense of his (and others') well-being. As a ward of Mealvaan's Gate, he was taught the foundations of Arcanima. Of course, after they figured out that Yappo was entirely incapable of forming a Carbuncle or even of bringing down a proper Ruin, they focused on the arithmetic over the magical. The only grace of that kind of schooling was that Yappo did, eventually, find a talent for mending wounds - on top of being handy with numbers and ledgers. But when it comes to matters of martial prowess, Yappo is not nearly as hopeless. Daggers and acrobatics are his bread and butter in a fight, giving him both freedom of mobility and an assured Plan B. But he isn't a prodigy, not by any means. He is very flashy but limited by his lifestyle as a mere inn manager. Albeit, the inn does encourage people with any kind of battle experience to undertake jobs and leves, so it's not as if Yappo has a lot of down-time or chance to 'undo' what seemingly comes naturally to him. Some of those encounters occasionally need a more subtle touch, though, which is where the rest of his 'kit' comes in. Due to his stature and build, a very effective and relatively less noisy way of getting 'the final say' is through the use of his trusty length of wire. Otherwise, hitting someone over the head with a thick ledger is a good, non-lethal replacement.

Overall, I'm pretty chill as far as guidelines go. I don't have an extensive list of 'Do's or 'Don't's or things that I personally find triggering. So chances are, you won't offend me or make me uncomfortable unless you're trying to or just being really skeevy in general. Still, for the sake of making sure everyone's on the same page here, let me make a few mentions in particular:
