Cerys Grants
CERYS GRANTS
- Cerys is a Miqo'te keeper female. She has two eyes of a deep blue and dons short length rose colored hair. White tribal markings are apparent on her upper cheek bones as well as on the back of her neck. She has a slender body and a rather clean complexion.
- On the outside she appears as a very bubbly and friendly character, but she tends to cut herself off from others due to previous experiences. She can also be overly-confident and coy at times. Her thought process is very precise and analytical just like her mentor before her, but her emotions can sometimes get in the way of her judgement.
- Always ready and never backs down from a challenge, she always makes an effort to prove her worth and live up to her mentors image.

Themes/MusicNote: Vocal Songs are attributed themes in which the lyrics seem to relate or partially relate to the character. They don't mean to resemble the character's voice. The instrumental themes are meant to give an idea of the atmosphere around the character. Songs with character names (example: "Tidus's Theme") are NOT meant to indicate that the character is like the theme owner. I just find the instruments and melody fitting, not the character the song was originally addressed to.
Cerys's reserves of equipment are both vast and specific. Her years spent studying and training under her father Ventus in the arts of Aetheric-manipulation and Swordplay have given her a keen, focused command of her own abilities, though perhaps not as effective as him, she still does her best to live in his image. Time spent in Ul;'Dah Garden saw her trained in basic hand-to-hand techniques as well; though she hasn't expanded this training and is less efficient at it than most due to her small stature. Most often, Cerys employs her arsenal of gadgets--utilizing a specific piece for the particular demands of various missions. She rarely travels anywhere unarmed, but also rarely makes effort to escalate any situation into violence. As much as she's a scholar of history, she's a student of combat...and enjoys training.
Here is a list of recent and/or notable fights, roleplay scenes, etc. that Cerys has been a part of. This list is by no means all inclusive, and serves more as a general reference as to what he's been up to.
Please be aware that limit breaks, though cool, have some rules attached to them. Any limit that is used has to be agreed upon by those in combat at the time. An example would be if you wanted to use your level 3-1 limit break in combat. You would check and make sure that it wasn't overpowered and so on and so forth. Also remember that all limit breaks that are used normally drain the user completely after use, unless there are special circumstances. They are limits, you break your threshhold and barriers to perform these actions. The other thing to remember is that your limit breaks are NOT unblockable. They still have the same rules as normal RP combat, but most will take into account that they are a limit break and will treat it accordingly. One more thing to consider is that canonly, you will NOT start with access to all your limit breaks. Perhaps you will want to follow the game and have to use or defeat a certain amount of enemies before you unlock them. Perhaps you base your limit breaks from traumas given to the character, or by seriously dangerous situations.
A powerful attack or technique available after some requirement during battle is fulfilled. In video games, this is often indicated by a refillable or chargeable gauge on the menu allowing the player to gauge when it will become available, how strong it will be, or so on; and the most common requirement is taking (or giving) damage in combat. Thus, it's usually a kind of Evolving Attack. May overlap with Super Mode, or may be a form of Desperation Attack. It may be accompanied by a Super Move Portrait Attack. The popularity of the trope, and its assimilation into numerous forms of media is a testament to the widespread effect that Final Fantasy VII, the originator of the term, had in making RPGs more mainstream. Although a nearly identical game play mechanic appeared a few years earlier in Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, the concept has become synonymous with the Final Fantasy games series and the term is now widely used as a catchall term to describe such attacks.

A military force within Ul'Dah Garden. They were dispatched around the world on missions and to clients on request, and were paid for their efforts as a soldier of Garden. These were the soldiers that had worked hard to earn the trust and respect of their peers within garden, having completed dangerous missions and exceeded all expectations within their classes and exams; These were the elite of Garden itself. Unfortunately, fame brought unwanted attention; and that attention caused the fall and destruction of Garden. It's not exactly known how the Garden fell, but many suspect it was due to aetheric research that caused others to attack and rebel against them. Some theorize that the headmaster; Ventus Zeruel, became too greedy and power hungry to lead his forces, and thus inevitably caused the fall of his own company. After which, Ventus once gain fell into seclusion and vanished for another two years. It was during this time he perfected his research as well as recovered from the impending illness that caused his life to fade, and age to progress faster than expected.

Cerys has led a varied and diverse life, and those talents she's honed can be used on any number of fields or fronts. She has traveled throughout most of the known realm, and for much of her life, simply made a point of being a help to anyone she deemed worth her time. That said, there are particular regions during particular times where it might have been possible for your character to have made a connection with her.

I'm fairly laid back person, and generally feel that any established guidelines are capable of being bent in exceptional circumstances. Still, for the sake of making sure everyone's on the same page here, let me make a few mentions in particular:
