General Information

Miqo'te by birth and Elezen by choice, he doesn't hide his use of Fantasia, but considers the substance an intimate decision. The Calamity shredded his memories, leaving him with his name and the sense he'd forgotten something important. With no attachments he could remember, he took up adventuring with the hope of running into what he lost, but with the expectation he'd never find it.

Appearance

Originally a bubblegum pink Miqo'te with amber and purple eyes, his change in appearance was a means to move forward, incorporating the features of those he lost, as he can't quite seem to move on. He has plans for another drink to return to his roots, but not his original appearance--the list of people he wants to remember has grown, as has he.

The scar on his face could be healed, but he keeps it to remind him of his closest brush with death--to not rush into every situation.

Personality

Personality Traits

Slow to anger, but quick to help, even when the task or requestor rubs him the wrong way. Quiet in new situations, not because of shyness, but becuase he can't figure out what's "expected" of him. Gravitates toward anyone and anything that'll give him a direction or goal.

Combat Style

Can pick up and use most weapons, but prefers something with weight, whether it's mental, emotional, or physical. The bastard sword is his go-to, the axe a good backup, but even when his armor is too thin to save him, he'll throw himself at the enemy to keep them away from his allies.

Philosophy & Ideals

There's something worth appreciating in most things, even awful things--Lakeland is beautiful, but so is Mor Dhona. Tragedies, especially inevitable ones, are a potent kind of heartbreak to savor.

Quirks

• Despite being able to sing and dance freely on the battlefield, he's incredibly shy about doing so elsewhere--even if it's the same people and the same tune. If he's playing music, it'll be in a strange, out-of-the-way place.
• The easier it is to get a reaction out of someone--whether sheepishness or excitement--the more he'll want to mess with them.

Schwarzer ☀ Adoptive father and primary parent, a defector from the Empire that took a very young H'biki into Thanalan as a refugee to live off the land together for years. He was also an adventurer, culminating (through means unknown or unremembered to H'biki) in being one of the Warriors of Light, which is the source of H'biki's memory destruction. His last act before heading out that fateful day was to fantasia himself into a similar-looking Miqo'te, but it's unknown if his motivation was to finally resemble his adopted child, or as a rude gesture to any gods that would cut his ward down before adulthood. He's currently missing, presumed dead or with similarly shredded memory (and possibly living under a different name as a result). Biological Parents (H Clan) ✫ H'biki's Miqo'te parents, who he was separated from at a very young age during the war. He doesn't remember them, nor what might've happened to them. He assumes they're dead, but with little contact with H clan members, none of which knew him as a child, he has no confirmation either way.

Player Info

I'm new as hell to RP, and with no real knowledge of the game/lore going in, this guy got shaped by the MSQ. I see other WoLs as a sort of parallel world scenario, so bringing up the Scions and such wouldn't be world-breaking to me, but would otherwise prefer to keep it lore-friendly.

I'd like a partner to play with (I'm so tired of playing solo orz), ideally one whose character will wield him like a sword--someone with stars in their eyes and hopes for the world, to counterbalance his morally lost/hesitant disposition. Someone to lead the way that he can be sweet on, basically. I'd like to form our adventures in game more than in essay format, but being--again--new as hell to RP, I'm not sure how realistic that would be.
