Personality

Jacques carries himself with all the air one would expect of an upper-class Ishgardian. He speaks with elegance and courtesy. He's a quick minded young man, with a sharp wit, and a thirst for knowledge. Though, he can appear aloof and reserved, Jacques has a warm heart that he keeps guarded. He has a generally optimistic view-point, though he weighs his decisions with that Ishgardian realism. He can easily come off as older than he truly is, though even he has his moments when it becomes blatantly clear he is still only nineteen years old. He can be stubborn and once he's made up his mind on something he's not wont to change his opinion.

♥ Guillaume Durand - Jacques' eldest (living) paternal uncle, and his role-model. Gill practically raised him, and everything he truly learned about his house, his bloodline, and his morals came from Guillaume. He feels that his uncle can be a bit suffocating in his protective demeanor, but he's just glad to have him back.

♥ Olivaux Durand - Jacques' other uncle, the youngest of his grandfather's boys. He admires the way Uncle Ollie seems to just be able to take everything in stride, always sure-footed and confident. Though, his uncle is a bit of a thrill-seeker, and Jacques always feels he's just one turn away from getting into trouble he can't get out of when around Ollie.

● Azazelle Veusoix - A victim of another mess created by House Dzemael. Jacques took a personal interest in the Ishgardian Wildwood's plight, offering her the aid of his house during a final confrontation with the fugitive of House Dzemael. Since then, he has attempted to breech a friendship, but seems to be met with with pleasantries of business.

● Vianne Marinterre - They met through Azazelle and Order of Ravenstar. He doesn't know much about this Duskwight, but knows she is a very valuable ally. Though helping Azazelle, he also in turn helped Vianne. He has also attempted a friendship with her, but he's unsure of how successful his attempts have been.

● Ardent Dawn - A wonderful Roegadyn woman whom he has only just recently met. She runs the bath house for Ravenstar, and her own business elsewhere. They met in the mentioned bath house, though Jacques feels he made an utter fool of himself, though enjoyed his interactions with Ardent.

● Jethas Zykyri - The leader of Order of Ravenstar, whom he has met very briefly. Jacques has been in the works of hiring Ravenstar, so he will find out where their interactions will take them. Thus far, they've been very pleasant."

● Hinako Mori - They met on strange circumstances... Though, Jacques has come to take the strange Auri woman into his home. She shows a lot of promise as a healer, of which Jacques as been instructing her in the ways of Ishgardian healing and in his own house's long family methods of aetherical manipulation. He has come to start to really care for the woman, and even attempt to help her heal wounds far from physical, and ease her back into reality without the need of sharp words to chase people away.

● Kazuhiro Williams - A very large Roe man, who seems to have some kind of personal war with clothing. Jacques took a chance, and offered to house Kazuhiro, his husband and the two Miqo'te, Tris'tan and Devin, while they vacationed in Ishgard. There weren't any regrets, thought their first meeting was a bit rocky.

● Devin Grey - A strange Miqo'te whose heart is at least in the right place. Jacques has learned some troublesome information about Devin, and is unsure what to do about it. He uses caution, but also has no reasons to persecute the Miqo'te.

● Tris'tan Aonar - Jacques considers him Devin's shadow. Where Devin is, Tris'tan doesn't seem to be too far away. Though he stutters a lot, and seems very easily spooked, Jacques considers Tris'tan with what could form into friendship. But, he still doesn't know a whole lot about him.

♥ Adala Archer - She's gorgeous, strong, kind-hearted, and quick with wits. He enjoys the long, late night talks with her, and also enjoys her mischievous humour. He first met her in a resort-style bath house ran by Ardent Dawn. Jacques has also fought along side Adala a few times, and cannot express his gratitude enough for helping him in the mess his house has gotten into. Though, he has hopes for where their path could go, Jacques hesitates, being a noble of Ishgard and Adala being an outsider.

♥ Florensaie Drieu - This woman plays coeurl-and-mouse with him, and he's not too sure he minds it. He also fully accepts that he's the mouse. Florensaie is dangerous, flirtatious, and way out of his league--or that's what he would say if anyone were to ask him. But, that doesn't stop him from using every opportunity at his disposal to at least be in the same room as her. He's drawn to her flame, knowing full well that he will most likely get burned, but that's what makes her so exciting and so interesting.

● Srah Bajhiri - A Seeker who very recently joined up with the Ravens, and one whom he doesn't know very well. She seems to have taken to his nick-name "Jackie," no matter how much he protests. She also seems to have formed some kind of friendship with Florensaie, and they seem to hunt for trouble together. A couple of times that turned into finding Jacques and dragging him into some kind of shenanigans. He likes her enough, though would need to know her just a bit better.

Other Notes

Religion

He is a very devoted member of the Halonic Orthodox Church, though in recent events he has felt his faith shaken. He now worships Halone on his own accord, a practice many others of his house has also picked up.

Quirks

Jacques can be easily flustered, particularly by the rough-and-tumble behaviours of mercenaries and adventurers.

His first, and purest love, is with sour red wines, and drinks a lot more than he's ready to admit.

Jackie also seems to have quite the sweet tooth, appearing to have poor impulse control when left alone with a bowl of candies.

Equipment

Jacques wears functional--and fashionable-- robes that drape over padded cloth armour, and (visible) plated armour on his forearms and legs. He is armed with a staff that could almost be classified as a mace, were that the shaft was a bit shorter...
