Kiht'li Rarkhi, better known as Kiht. Some people make fun of his name, but the miqo'te often gets riled up at that. He is generally carefree, friendly and loving. Sometimes he gets lonely and upset, but that is due to his time away from his brothers, being the youngest of the section in his clan, and the weakest. He doesn't stay in one place for a very long time, keeping to a nomadic kind of lifestyle. The clan he had come from were poachers, and often defending their territory in the South Shroud from anyone who might accidentally draw near. Being a clan-based Keeper, his knowledge of the city state politics is limited, but he does hear things and try to understand them. No free company, but he may look into one in the future. Kiht'li Rarkhi's Inventory Last updated: 5/16/2017 - A small bag of about 100 gil. - Various clan-like trinkets, necklaces, bobs and baubles, and engraved animal fangs or claws with furs. - Linkpearls. Height: 5'1 .7" (Shorter than average miqo'te.) Weight: 132 lbs Complexion: Dusky Gray Hair: Black Ebony Eyes: Silver-White (Not blind) His facial features are soft, somewhat rounded at the edges, but with a thin width. His lips are an average medium shape, not too thin nor perky. He has various scars here and there from clan disputes or hunts. His body type is somewhat scrawny, but slightly toned in some areas, with a little muscle around his upper body. It causes him to look a little disproportionate, but just because he hasn't filled out too much yet. His voice is young, somewhat high-pitched, Greg Ayres is probably the best comparison. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0sTSy6UeFE ) He would have the scent of Shroud forests, rivers, furs, etc. Upon first meeting, he can be a little distrusting, but overall has a friendly, happy demeanor. Unless the person is scary looking. After getting to know someone better, he tells people more about himself. Probably a bit more on his more somber parts of his life. Flaws Weak Muscles (He can fight and hunt fairly well, but due to being a runt, he cannot build and keep muscle mass.) Not exactly smart (He's smarter than the average clan/tribe miqo'te, but he can't read/understand text other than his clan's. He speaks fairly well, but in a casual drawl. Uses 'yeah' instead of 'yes', etc. laid back. He can often ask stupid silly questions if he doesn't know something. He had been on his own a good majority in his young life, and he's made many mistakes along the way. He knows how to get around fairly well especially in the Shroud and around dense trees or climbing. He uses his bo-staff as a way to fight, but also propel himself into the air by pole-vaulting as a way of transportation, or a way of combat. His reflexes are fairly good, mainly from him being cautious and a miqo'te. He does know a bit of fist-fighting when he must, but always prefers non-lethal blunt blows with his bo-staff. He knows a good bit about healing making salves from Shroud herbs, along with what plants are bad and good. He doesn't like to use poisons, but knows how to make them. Aside from herbalism, he does a little alchemy-mixing and leatherworking. These skills were gained from experimenting in the Shroud's environments, and testing various plants and hunting. He often keeps a book with stamped plants to identify them and symbols for what they do. This took a great deal of risky trial and error on his part. Weapons A wooden bo-staff. Theres not much to it, aside from him making it on his own from carving and engineering it to work the way it does. It is sturdy and tempered so it has a less chance to break. Magic His knowledge of magic is slim, but his clan practiced astrology. If he put his mind to it, it could be something he could eventually understand better. He fears it because of how the elder in his clan read a card which told them it would doom the clan if he would stay due to the curse, which forced the clan to unceremoniously oust him. This card may or may not have been true. Crafting He is a Leatherworker, Carpenter, Cook (limited by what Shroud has taught him), Herbalist and Alchemist. The Ousting of Kiht'li Rarkhi (Age: 13) The Ousting of Kiht'li Rarkhi (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: NPCs: Kiht'li Rarkhi, A Shroud Keeper Witch, Zunah Vhuko (Clan Elder), The Clan) The young keeper Kiht'li, had been born with a birth defect which kept him from gaining and keeping high muscle mass. Due to this, he was known to be a runt, and not a suitable breeder. Females did not want a weakling like him in the clan. By his thirteenth nameday, he had still lived among his clansmen, but not at a great quality of life. The clansmen around his age often bullied and made fun of his weak stature, even though he had proven himself multiple times to be almost their equal. But that is when the curse that had been passed down from his father, had awakened in him. On the thirteenth nameday, any child born from Kiht'li's father's seed, would gain this curse. The curse places a voidsent within the teen, which then possesses the host unless kept in check by a special circlet made of gold. The keeper witch that placed the curse on Kiht'li's father appears to each child, but not until the child's first kill--to give then such a circlet. She tells them why they are this way, but that is all she does, only to disappear again--saying to blame the father for his misdeeds. Kiht'li was then left to whatever mercy his clan would show--which was none. He had killed two males, and one female--all by slicing their throats. Despite not remembering the assault that took place after the circlet had been placed on his head, the clan strung him up with ropes, allowing the clan to shame and carve scars into the poor keeper's body. Then, as a precaution, he was lead out into the woods by Amdapor Keep's ruins. He was imprisoned there, left to die. No shelter from the elements, no food--no water. Kiht'li spent a good long time of his young teenage life nearly starving and parched of thirst--his survival may have been linked to the voidsent that inhabited his body. Despite suppressing the demonic being, it had a bit of a symbiotic relationship with the Keeper. Eventually, while Kiht'li was asleep, a kind soul had made the chains loose, which allowed Kiht'li to escape his prison. Ever since, he had been living on his own, staying clear of his clan grounds in the South Shroud's swamps. He became a hermit, like most males of his species do, but for different reasons. Some of my favorite RP is the more dark/gritty/extreme themes. I do like romance arcs, as long as they are longterm, and if the partners are communicative. I do not like being left in the dark if one of the mates suddenly break off without much reason IC or OOC. If its talked about before hand, I could care less where the RP goes (even if its a bad road) All I care about is that you remain vocal to me so I know what is happening so that things aren't sprung on me last minute. I dont want to know -everything- that happens, but if it changes the way the characters feel, I would like to know. What/Who I will NOT RP with: Under Age ERP. Meta-gamers (people who act IC on OOC information given to them in good faith), Powerplayers (people who try to continually one-up your character and rarely give a chance for the other people to shine unless agreed upon prior), Godmodders (people's characters who are godlike and best at everything and can never be hit), Mary Sues (people who are blood-related to major lore characters, pretty much encompass every prior of those titles listed before), Futas/Cuntboy/etc (any fetishized characters. I don't care what you have IRL, I don't care if you say 'magic did it', futas and the like do not exist in my lore), Pure Sexually Based Characters (If you are only looking for ERP without substance, I am -not- the partner for you. I expect much more themes in my RPs than -just- ERP.) OOC Drama-mongers (if you end up pitching a fit over legitimate RP that has happened or can't have an adult conversation without devolving into threats or passive-aggressive jabs, I will not RP with you. I am more than willing to talk to you about something if you are bothered with where an RP has gone, you are uncomfortable, etc. Just do not freak out at me because it will land you on the blacklist.) I do not expect to know what you are doing at every second of the day, or who you are with, etc. All I want to know is if something has happened that impacts how a character will feel, or something that may end up changing my character. You do not have to be detailed, but I expect something vague to be said, if you do not want to say anything. I promise that I will not use the information to influence RP. And yes, I ERP at times, but I do not require it, and I do not enjoy doing it unless the characters gain something from it, or are in a committed relationship. That being said,Kiht'li is somewhat a sexually-active character, but he won't go around wanting to screw everyone he meets. If it happens, it happens, but do not expect multiple ERP sessions without substance. If I deem it as so, I will mention something, and we will stop it. Otherwise I will drop the RP and stop RPing with you. As a note: There is a difference between Polyamory and just going out and shagging. Kiht'li will experiment, see if he likes the person enough, and if he does, he will return. If it continues that way, he may attempt to claim them as a potential mate (which we will talk about OOC). He will most likely have two or three other mates, depending on what is talked about OOC. All of us would have to be very communicative and open with each other OOC.) He does not believe in marriage ceremonies, as of this time. I felt the need to put this here, so that people do not make assumptions of me OOC, and have a clear idea of how the character works.
