At a glance... With long legs and an hourglass shape like hers, who wouldn't show it off? Miounne is a tall, busty beauty with dark dusky skin and hair in the colour of a rare wine. Her light green eyes are often narrowed with coyness, her pouting lips painted in a tantalizing crimson. She fully embraces her attractive physique, keeping it in prime condition through her strenuous work as an axe-wielding Guardian and former Maelstrom recruit. Get a little booze and rudeness in this graceful woman, however, and you'll see that her built shoulders and flexing arms aren't just for show!
Scars & Markings: Her hands are very worn and scarred from her profession, and she sports a small slash across her left cheek. Otherwise, she has a few freckles and beauty marks on her face and shoulders.
Voice: Mio's voice is deep and husky, with a thick Lominsan accent and a slew of curses learned during her teen years at the docks.
Clothing: Clothing tends to be the least of Mio's concerns, outside of its general usefulness. Does it protect her in battle? Great. Does it make her boobs look good? Even better.

Childhood in Gridania... Growing up in Gridania, a city-state with racial tensions levied toward Duskwights, was no easy task. The Rondelet family were determined to play by the rules and show their children that perseverance could change the minds of their neighbors, but this was rarely the case for their merchant family of meager wealth and low class standing. Miounne's older brothers, twins Vennix and Neleux, were both talented in the lance, and as teen boys decided to join the Twin Adders to serve their country. Even with their noble intents, they were spared very little malice or ridicule from their jealous and prejudiced brothers in arms.
Miounne had always looked up to her brothers, whom had been some of her only friends growing up. She picked up the lance as well at age 12, trying desperately to follow in her brothers' footsteps and make their family name known as one of proud warriors and veterans. She wasn't the immediate talent that her brothers were, but they encouraged her to keep working hard at it. Vennix and Neleux even taught her to read and write, as their parents were not as literate, and Miounne used her knack for language to help run their merchant stall. All her efforts into the lance stopped abruptly when she and her parents were informed that her brothers had been slain by Garlean troops on the battlefield. Devastated by the death of their sons, and the neglect of the Adders to give the boys the glory of a soldier's burial, the Rondelet family packed up and headed west to La Noscea.
The Maelstrom... The Rondelet family settled in Middle La Noscea, abandoning their years as merchants in favor of working the land as farmhands. Bored and restless, Miounne couldn't stand life on the farms and begged her parents to take her -- just once -- to Limsa Lominsa. Although her parents knew it would only make her more restless, they agreed to take her to the seaside city-state. To no one's surprise, Miounne fell instantly in love with the salty air, the flourishing streets, and the pirate ships that dotted the horizon. Now 14, she begged her parents to let her join up with the Maelstrom, determined still to make the Rondelets known for their honor and duty. Reluctantly they agreed and their strong-willed daughter became a courier and dock worker for the Maelstrom's fleet.
It was from these Maelstrom swashbucklers that she learned to wield the battle axe, and began her training to become a warrior her brothers would be proud of. It's also, of course, where she learned all of her new curse words and her salty, devil-may-care attitude. Limsa Lominsa was the first place where Miounne felt at home among others, and she would never go back to the timid, ashamed child she was before.
