With a size that rivals that of a Hyur, his presence can, and probably will, draw attention to itself. This Seeker can be boisterous and outgoing when he wants to, however, his mood can shift at any given time depending on the company around him. Aside from being an anatomical anomaly when compared to others of his race, Nyx's choice of garb draws the eye as well. Dressed in things that usually lean towards reds, black, and silvers, combined with a pair of goggles and a cigarette, it's obvious to many that he's either worked for Stephanivien or has taken up the cause of the machinist within the Skysteel Manufactory. ❝ Nyx's Tattoos (Art by Cactusgarrus.) ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Amber Blonde Tanned Muscular Thick Scottish Lilt Bearing Laterality Scars Markings Style Agile Left-handed Vertical Right-eye Many Tattoos Semi-Modern/Garlean/Cyberpunk Hair & Eyes Blonde hair is generally tied in a long, loose ponytail that hangs about mid-back. Fringes of it frame his face in a haphazardly tamed style, while a bit of it clings to his jawline. Both eyes are of a wolfish amber and hold a keenness to them. Physique & Markings Nyx is a large guy naturally, but he is devoted to staying in shape and does so through being physically active on an almost obsessive level. His upper body has a distinguished shape with broad shoulders and chiseled arms, while his lower half is trim, athletic, and agile. His entire left side is littered in tattoos comprised of hexagon patterns that seem to shift with any flexing of his body, reaching from his cheek all the way down to his groin. On his back falls a series of Garlean-esque designs that almost speak of technology. Hygiene & Attire Despite being a machinist and weaponsmith, this Seeker remains incredibly clean. Even if his clothes or face are soiled with grease or various remnants of the day's work, he will almost assuredly smell of tobacco and leather, a not-wholly terrible mixture. This also lends to his personal style, which is likely to be leather on good days. He has a taste for the more attention-grabbing pieces, though the attention given is likely more that of curiousity of his occupation or fear. Personality Psychological Profile A good bit of the time, Nyx is hyper casual about everything. He can usually be seen smoking a cigarette, people-watching even if mayhem is involved. If something doesn't benefit him in some way, it's very likely that he won't get in the midst of some drama, unless of course, if he's bored. Now, if one were to get under his skin, irritation is probably not too far from bubbling up on the surface. Nyx can be quite antisocial given certain situations and company, and if he finds himself uncomfortable in anyway, the sarcasm will start to come out. Pushed any further and his attitude might slip into utter and complete bluntness, perhaps even cold and callous. Anger is not beneath Nyx either, and if made to go that far, he will likely take the road to physical violence mixed with extreme expletives. Voice Nyx's accent is something interesting altogether. His travels and exposure to diverse types of people have led him to have a lilt that is unique to him alone. It borders between Scottish and Irish, and the thickness of it varies depending on his mood. His voice is husky, but also holds a charm to it that many have considered to be handsome. Philosophy & Mannerisms The philosophies of this Seeker are quite basic: sex, motivation, independence, and self-preservation. If it doesn't benefit him, he doesn't go for it, unless somehow someone manages to reach his heartstrings. Very rarely does he do things for the "good of others". He's also a believer in never bedding the same women twice since he's not a fan of the clingy nature that some adopt afterwards. Sometimes even his mannerisms coincide with his belief system. Often found slouching against a wall or crouched over a railing high up somewhere, he can be seen smoking and watching others. Certain quirks show themselves, and included, but are not limited too: running his fingers through his facial hair, flicking his ears back in annoyance, clenching his jaw, erratic tail movements, and looking away from those that he deems incompetent. His skill with tinkering and altering, as well as reading up on new studies within the Manufactory's findings. Aside from flirting, he's also a damn good miner and weaponsmith. Combat Abilities ● Ability: He takes pride in being the best at whatever it is that has caught his interest and skill level. If his current state of mind is with guns, he'll work on his skill level until he can rival the best. He's currently working on a firearm that gives him the ability to shift it into a polearm/lance or a partial-body armor. Nyx's tactical prowess is something that he considers to be top-notch, although the times he's given the chance to use it are very rare. Sixth Astral Era Childhood Nyx is no stranger to an unfair past, having been born a bastard child within the Antelope tribe of the Sagolii. Born to a Tia and a breeding female in the tribe, Nyx was never supposed to have been. Both of his parents narrowly avoided being hanged by the "gracious" Nunh simply because the male had an unhealthy obsession with his mother because of her ethereal appearance.
