General Information A pretty face can hide a lot of things - and this Keeper seems to hide more than most. It's the polite smile, a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes, that she wears as a mask - hiding the truth of what she believes. Ordinarily found wherever the gil may lead her, there's little on first glance that would set this Keeper apart from the rest of her kin. She's short, though not abnormally so, and there's no real indication of any muscle definition. There is, however, an air of magic about her, and some hint of ferality that has not been tamed, no matter how long she remains in more civilized lands. ❝ No bad deed goes unrewarded. ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Dark Green. Hair & Eyes Her eyes are fairly unremarkable - dark green with the large pupils so typical of her kin. Her hair is dark blue and almost always kept up in a very tight style, usually incorporating braids. In the rare moments that her hair is seen down, it's bounce and shine are very obvious indicators that she uses alchemical products on her hair. Physique & Markings Rhaya is on the very short side of the height scale for Miqo'te, which sometimes frustrates her to a great degree. Her body is lean and lacks any form of muscle definition. The only markings she has is the striping on her face. Hygiene & Attire She is very particular about hygiene - which is helpful for a medic. The only time she's seen dirty is when she's actually in the middle of doing something, for as soon as she's able to remove herself from the situation she cleans herself up. Her wardrobe is varied and vast, seemingly the only requirements that she thinks she looks nice in it. Common colors in her attire are white and blue. Personality Psychological Profile Rhaya is often seen as sensible, cautious, careful, and valuing practicality over little else. She's clever, and the most dangerous part about this is that she's very much aware of it. There is also a certain coldness to her - she very firmly keeps people at arms length and does not, by any stretch, make friends easily. When she does make friends - usually by some crazy random happenstance - she is loyal to a fault, but absolutely expects the same kind of loyalty in return. For those she has decided to trust, it takes a lot to shake that. Once it's betrayed, however, her trust is nearly impossible to regain. Voice Her normal tone of voice is soft and pleasant, almost soothing, even if the words she's saying are anything but. Anger deepens the tones and can cause a growl to become more prevalent in her words, especially the r's. She very rarely yells, but when she does, she sounds a lot taller than she actually is. Philosophy & Mannerisms Her baseline philosophy is to do what needs to be done while causing as little inconvenience to herself as possible. To that end, the way that she acts around others depends entirely on how she views them. To those she doesn't know well, she is polite - if in a cold way - and tends to be agreeable. As she gets to know an individual, the way that she acts around them will gradually begin to change. To those that she dislikes, she maintains the same chill politeness as she acted with before she got to know them well, though with the addition of a fair bit of sarcasm - those that are not completely oblivious to things would probably pick up on the barbs in her remarks. The only ones that will actually see a hostile response from her are those she honestly hates. As hating someone requires a fair bit of effort, she doesn't usually give enough of a damn about someone she's chosen to dislike to go through all of that - instead disregarding their presence entirely. To those that she could potentially develop something that might resemble a friendship with, the truth of her personality starts to come out - benevolently sarcastic, sassy, and vain, prone to fits of overdramatization and very full of herself. The sarcasm is still present as ever, but the sharp remarks are soothed with a genuine smile. Those that are closest to her are the only ones that she chooses to allow to see her weaknesses. She considers him a brother - especially since his marriage to another Keeper, now he's practically kin - and is willing to go further for him than most others. �✔Tama Mao - While her familiarity with her student's wife is limited, Tama is kin and therefore is afforded a more positive response by default than most others. ✖Z'mona Talmarin - Originally having an at least decent relationship with the other Miqo'te, Rhaya's opinion of him has taken some severe hits as of late. At this point she considers him somewhat of an antagonist in her life, though not yet to the point where she will act openly hostile in his presence. ❣● Lucius Aurelius - Her relationship with this hyur was, at one point, active and vibrant and positive. His unannounced disappearances, however, and her perception that he disregarded her presence upon his initial return have dampened her opinion of him to the point that, despite being attracted to him, she has no desire to continue to develop whatever was happening between them. ♦✔Larswith Medwyn - Originally considering herself somewhat of the girl's protector within the Coven, Rhaya has since backed away from the girl - perhaps too far - to allow her room to grow and develop without her influence. There's a strong chance that this was exactly the worst thing she could have done, but there's no going back now. She still cares about Larswith, so much as she cares about really anyone, but finds herself keeping her distance because that's what Rhaya does best. ●Liliro Liro - Rhaya's opinion of the Coven's Mistress is a complicated one. While her respect for what Lili's built is genuine, there's the pesky problem of Rhaya's morality not exactly matching up with the Lalafell's.
