Popori (Also known as 'Ori') is one half of the Tatafera twins. She is the elder of her brother Papanori ('Nori') by two minutes, and takes great pleasure in constantly reminding her sibling of this fact. The pair are searching for an ancient magic rumored to have been created by the forbidden union of black and white magic, dubbed 'Neo-Ultima'. This magic is rumored to control power over time and space itself, and capable of creating stable portals to other worlds. The twins' reason for seeking this magic is to find their parents who were absorbed into a dimensional vortex after an experiment gone awry.
The elder sister is a capable conjurer, familiar with the principles and utilization of conjury, while her brother provides the other half: a unique predisposition to thaumaturgy's vast power. Together, the twins are on a journey to find any shred of information about Neo-Ultima and how it might be utilized that they might find and retrieve their long lost parents.
Appearance
Identical twins born only seconds apart, Popori shares many features with her brother. Rather tall for a lalafell, she has auburn hair with a lick of red to match her ruby eyes. Her long pointed ears are a prominent feature, and generally feature whatever ornate earring currently has Popori's attention at the moment.
There is little risk of confusing Popori with her brother, as Popori embraces her ruby red eyes with an equally vibrant shade of red clothing. Even the hairpin that adorns her hair is red, and the only notable color of difference is a unique mark on her face... which matches her brother's blue.

Mannerisms
Popori often plays the foil to her more impulsive brother. Nori's ideas and actions typically are more ambitious and grandiose and Popori is often forced to 'reel in the plan'. She does not shy away from speaking her mind with her peers and brother, and Popori is typically engaged with trimming down her brother's brilliant ideas down to a more manageable state. Still, despite the differences in approach, Popori dearly loves her brother. The elder sister has been known to spoil and even baby him on occasion, taking it upon herself to make sure her brother is safe and secure.
That is not to say that Popori is not without her own flaws. She sometimes suffers from 'analysis paralysis', taking too long to come to decisions for the sake of executing the correct course of action. She can be stubborn and impatient with those who don't quickly understand things, and her respect is slow to gain... if it is ever gained at all. Despite this, Popori does have a sweet side to her at times, often confiding in those she loves and trusts.
The woman is a heavy academic, and is more than happy to be the one to volunteer for experiments and research projects. She takes meticulous notes, and is supremely confident in her own ability.
Philosophy & Ideals
The goal of finding her mother and father has been a core guiding principle for the woman since before she left her homeland, and most everything she does is with this in mind. She wants to grow stronger... seeing it as a necessity for being able to even wield the massive power of Neo-Ultima, and is not above considering forbidden arts to do so.
She is meticulous in her approach to challenges, fully exhausting a single objective before moving onto the next one. While she can be independent on certain things, in truth she benefits greatly from her brother's input and observations.

- Popori keeps meticulous notes, and has an excellent memory even without them.
- The elder sister is generally the keeper for the pair, her preparations often sparing the two headaches when it comes to supplies and food.
- Despite her gruff and easily irritable countenance, Popori is slow to truly anger, preferring to simply walk away from conflict and trusting in her brother to destroy true aggressors.
- Popori does not indulge in alcohol often, seeing it as a voluntary dulling of one's wits. However, she does enjoy scotch.
- Popori cannot stand being excessively dirty, often carrying multiple copies of the same outfit in an effort to stay clean.
- Far from helpless when cornered, Popori does not shy away from the more destructive applications of conjury, hurling massive rocks or slicing ribbons of pressurized water at foes.
- Popori is somewhat of an entomologist. She finds insects and arachnids fascinating, and often can discern overlooked details by observing the creatures.

Preferences
RP Preferences:
I'm open to roleplaying with just about everyone - Veteran or novice RPer alike! Walkups are welcome and encouraged. My only three real requests are:
First - That you try to keep OOC and IC interactions separate when possible. I really prefer trying to keep character interactions in-character, and trying to differentiate when I'm talking to your character and *you* is difficult when someone constantly switches between the two without a warning. So trying to use "(( ))" tags when possible is greatly appreciated! :)
Second - I welcome almost all backstories and roleplays. If you'd like to do some sort of life-changing collaboration storyline involving Mikae, please clear it with me first so I can think about the story a bit ahead of time and make it an awesome experience for both of us! That being said, I almost never turn down playing a role in your character's development.
Third - Regarding character relationships, while I am okay with Mikae becoming - slowly - involved with somebody romantically, It would need to be something that would be built up upon many roleplaying sessions. I also want to stress that it would be strictly IC and would have it not bleed into the real world. Please respect that I prefer to keep the boundary in-game and will respond negatively if you try to make it go beyond that. Thank you! :)
