Appearance

Slight Runner's build, fairly curveless with a small chest that's usually bound.
They are a short, plain looking person some muscle but nothing really impressive, fair skin, short and unremarkable brown hair, and grey eyes. Relatively curveless, with what any they do have normally hidden under thicker or baggy clothes and bindings.
Just looking at them it could be very hard to tell what gender this person is. Sam mostly tends to dress in more gender-neutral clothing that can make it difficult to figure it out, and their face and voice don't make it any easier. With some makeup they could could be pretty but for the most part Sam is someone that most people likely wouldn't notice or pay much attention to. Being part of the rogue's guild, this usually works out very well for them.
Physically Sam is usually female, though there has been times they have changed themselves to be male, but due to fantasia costs and the difficulty in obtaining them they usually are female and just dress for what they feel like that day. A plus they add to that is that they also don't have to deal with shaving their face or hurting their nuts while running or riding around. Even so their features still seem to change just about every day, even if it's just slightly... often too much to just be the result of makeup alone.

Characteristics

Personality:
Sam is not particularly outgoing, but is quite friendly and open to conversation. Most times one will likely have to approach them first, but Sam is willing enough to start conversations as well... if they can think of something to say.
It can be hard to get personal details out of this person though; details given often times change and any real information can be hard to pick out once someone is aware of what's going on. It's not done as a result of being a pathological liar, but as habit from being part of the rogue's guild, being used to interactions with people they will likely never see again or that would be unlikely to remember them, and honestly not knowing anything about themselves from before the calamity. Their name itself may not even be their given name, since they picked the name "Sam" themselves and went with a random suggestion for their last. The fact that they don't really know much about themselves just adds to the random and ever changing answers they may give someone. The more (s)he likes someone the more likely (s)he is to be honest with them about themselves
Being unsure of themselves and how to connect with people, Sam will often enough mimic other people's mannerisms and personalities, and depending on the group of people they are with they could end up bolder, more serious, more playful, more aggressive, or whatever the overall energy is of the group or person she's around.
They try not to let their lack of knowledge about the past affect them but, but often times they struggle with loneliness and frustration over everyone else's stories about their own past and families, much as they also seek out this kind of information from people.
