General Information
Born as Shion in the village of Sui-no-Sato, Samara spent much of her time on the road as her father pursued riches around the world. Eventually coming to settle in the La Noscean countryside, her father decided they should change to more western-friendly names in an attempt to build a brand. Thus the name Summerhall was decided, in hopes of pursuing a successful career in wine. Being an outsider proved quite difficult, and in hopes of bridging the foreign gap Samara took an interest in history. Eventually that curiosity and thirst for knowledge developed into a desire to study as a scholar in Limsa Lominsa.
Appearance
While the heir to luscious golden locks and eyes, deceptively bad eyesight requires Samara to wear glasses at most times. She prefers to keep her hair tied up in some way to keep it out her eyes, often having them in twintails. White scales adorn somewhat pale skin, with a reddish blush notable around the face. Her clothing style typically leaves something to be desired. Preferring to spend her time on books rather than fashion, her wardrobe is often lacking. Typically less revealing clothing is more her style, though she has been gifted some expensive and revealing clothing she is too shy to wear. She hopes to expand her wardrobe more in the future and become comfortable in various styles. Samara is rarely seen without a hefty tome at her waist. Or as she calls it, 'light travel reading.'

Mannerisms
Samara is a quiet and shy individual, with a reservedness that betrays her lack of confidence. She tries to be polite and understanding, and to many could come across as tepid. However, when it comes to her passions a hidden fire is sparked. Despite any great charisma, she tries her best to become learned on a variety of topics in hopes it will cover for any shortcomings that might come of her shyness, and conversational skills are something she hopes to improve.
