Hailing from Kugane, Nimrada was adopted by a family of healers when he was a young child. Though he was their only child and not theirs biologically, they loved him unconditionally.
Nim grew up to be a kind soul, always willing to help those in need and go to great lengths to do what he could for those close to him. When he came of age, Nimrada opted to join the family business as a healer; And, with his parents blessing, he traveled forth to Eorzea to learn about the healing magics there.
Scars & Markings: --- On his upper left thigh, he has a small scar leading from the very top of his thigh to the start of his hipbone. When he was younger, he tried climbing a tall tree outside of his parents home to reach a flower he spotted at the top. It was autumn, and the leaves on the tree had started to wither and fall, but the flower, somehow managed to stay pristine. The tree, being weakened by the seasons ending, gave way under Nimrada's weight and he fell, cutting his side on the way down. His parents, being learned in the healing artes, quickly healed his wound, but the scar stayed. He felt self-conscious about the scar for a time, always going out of his way to hide it. But as he grew, he came to accept the scar as apart of himself, learning to love it, despite the negative feelings had towards it in his youth.
Voice: --- Nimrada's voice is a Bass-Baritone, his voice box having been severely damaged in his youth due to smoke inhalation. Nimrada's accent is rather plain, despite his childhood in the Far East. Growing up in Kugane, the various merchants from all over Hydaelyn had a strong influence on his accent, allowing him to pick up fairly easily on dialects and tonal differences.
Clothing: --- Nim's style choices are based purely on what he finds to be fashionable. Though he tends to stick with the typical color schemes of whatever profession he is currently. Though there are a few exceptions to this.
Nim's personality can be described as one of kindness. When meeting and interacting with new people, he will always do his best to accommodate them. However, he tends to only be talkative when speaking with people he knows, but will other wise remain quiet around strangers, preferring to watch events unfold. He always tries to be the rock that his friends can depend on, always putting their feelings before his own. This way of thinking has occasionally put him in some awkward situations, as he tends to go out of his way to help those he cares about, even if it means hurting himself.

Converation
Nimrada loves to talk to people. He finds all the stories people tell him to be fascinating and is always willing to be an ear for someone if they need someone to listen. This open ear has also been helpful in his line of work, as he is never out of date on information and what is currently lucrative at the time.
Baking
Nimrada is an avid baker. He loves trying new recipes and discovering new combinations. If he isn't out adventuring or helping a friend, chances are he is in his kitchen, coming up with some new pastry to share.
Coffee
Nimrada absolutely loves the taste of coffee. Before he starts any day, he will always head to the Quicksand in Ul'dah for a cup. It's an integrated part of his morning ritual that no one, not even his closest friends, dare try to break.

Cheaters
Every romantic relationship Nimrada has ever had has ended because he caught his partners cheating on him. Because of this, he has grown to have a deep-loathing for cheaters/liars etc. If he ever found out the person he was romantically involved with was cheating on him, he would leave without a second thought. To him, cheating is the ultimate form of disrespect.
Squash
Nimrada finds everything about the vegetable to be revolting. When he was growing up, he had a bad habit of sneaking food from his families cupboard. When his mother would catch him, she would force him to eat boiled, unseasoned squash for his next meal. Because of this, his hatred of squash has persisted with him, even to adulthood.
Bullies
Having been bullied by other kids because of his unique familial situation, Nimrada finds the concept of bullying to be absolutely abhorrent and will go out of his way to defend anyone that might be subjected to it.
Fears
Dying Alone
The various times Nimrada has been cheated on have left him with a deep seated fear of dying alone. He tries to belay these fears by helping friends whenever and however he can. But the fear still eggs at his mind constantly.
Ahriman
When he was younger, he had the unfortunate experience of witnessing a kidnapping by a group of Ahriman. Though older, and still able to defend himself against such threats, the childhood fear still runs deep in him.

A very kind and gentle soul, Nanao had come from a long line of Geomantic healers based out of Doma. During the siege of Doma by the Garlean Empire, she fled to Kugane and met her would be husband, Hideaki Sohma. He was running a small medicine shop inside of Kugane, selling medicine to the masses, but assisting the resistance when he could.
A stern, but kind-hearted man, Hideaki Sohma started making herbs and medicines at a very young age. He inherited the shop from his family after his parents were killed during a Garlean raid on some trade routes between Kugane and Doma. When he got older, he met his wife Nanao as she was alone and needed help finding a place to stay. He offered her a place to stay in his shop, and eventually the two would be wed. Their union bore a single child, Meiko and their adopted son, Nimrada.
Nimrada's adoptive younger sister. Like their mother, she is extremely kind-hearted and soft-spoken. While her elder brother is away, she stays at home with their parents, helping them run the shop. She has a deep respect for her brother and has always seen him as a role model to aspire towards.
A close friend of many years, Nimrada had once saved the Miqo'te from a family of Malboros. The two had grown a strong friendship since that day, Nao'to even having the chance to save Nimrada from an Ahriman. The two are extremely close and are almost like family.

During the Garlean Invasion of Doma, Nimrada's family were killed in a bombing raid on the town of Monzen. The blast caused a collapse in their home, crushing his parents, killing them instantly. Hideaki Sohma and his wife Nanao Sohma, were there in Monzen during the raids, attempting to help people evacuate. It was purely by chance that Nanao had heard the soft cries of a young child, nearly snuffed out by the sounds of the roaring flames. They dug through the charred wood and stone, following the sounds of the cries and found a small Aura child, no older than 2. His body was covered in soot and he was barely breathing, his lungs filled with the smoke from the flames. The two brought the child to Kugane, giving him medical attention, and a place to stay until they could locate his family. They asked around the refugees that had fled to Kugane from Doma and they discovered that the child's family had died during the bombing raids. With the childs parents gone, and Doma being besieged by the Garleans, Hideaki and Nanao took it upon themselves to raise the child as their own. Not knowing what to name an Aura child, the two chose the name "Nimrada", the genus of a rumored panacea plant. And thus, Nimrada's story began..."
Personal RP Limits
■ I am okay with literally ANY type of RP encounter. I find that the best way to explore ones own interests, is by just diving in head first and just seeing where things take you. You never know when you might discover something new that you didn't know you were into. With that being said, if i ever encounter a situation where I am uncomfortable or unwilling to participate, I will let you know in advance. Remember: COMMUNICATION IS KEY!
■ While I am open to any type of role-play, I prefer ones that are more 'involved' from all parties that are participating. Please do not engage me if all I am going to be doing is talking at you, I prefer my partners to be actually engaging me in a dialogue, rather than just letting me control the pace. "It takes two to tango" as the old adage goes.
■ Please remember, that while I am Role-playing my character, his personality is his own. We may share common traits (for obvious reasons.) but he is, in a sense, his own person. Do not mistake my characters feelings, opinions, etc. as any indication of what I myself may personally think.
