Character

General

Velala Vela is a Lalafell who lived a rather simple life, working with natural medicines to heal the people of her village of every day burns and cuts from working the land. She leads a rather noble life, looking out for others... For the most part.

Appearance

Velala stands just a bit taller than most Lalafell women, not by much though. Her hair a deep orange hair, almost rusty orange. Her eyes are a bright orange, ears very long, perfect for listening for potential dangers. Velala wears a simple white robe that buttons up the front. A pair of white slops and straw sandals. She often wears white gloves when treating the wounds of her patients, silver spectacles rst on the bridge of her nose, used for reading.

Behaviour

Velala is very kind hearted, caring for those before she tends to herself. Although, the events of the Calamity have scarred her, leaving her with a bit of a split personality. She is not aware of such personality, others only think it's just a phase she goes through. Other than that, very few negative things are said about Velala. She tries to cover up her country accent, having been raised in the plains of her home village of Goulaimai. She feels that people don't take her seriously if she speaks with the 'illiterate' dialect.

Combat

Velala Vela has no combat experience, infact, she tries to avoid conflict when ever possible. The most she knows how to do is cast spells, using the elements to her advantage, but she is still learning how to control them.

Friends & Acquaintances ♥ Nazyl Tharazyl – A Plainsfolk Lalafell that Vela met on pure luck. He and his friends had gotten lost in the vast Sagolii Desert, she offered to lead them to safety. Velala kind of likes Nazyl on the fact that he is brave, smart (despite what some people may say), and a true gentleman. The two of them often go out training together, honing their practices and learning more about one another. After an event that had forced a curse upon her, Nazyl was the person she really looked up to. His actions to her never changed, in fact he had to stay by her side until the curse was lifted. Despite the curse having been removed, Velala wants Nazyl to stay with her, they have so much in common that she wouldn't mind staying by his side for the rest of her life. ● Astrelle Valtin – An Elezen woman that Vela met the same day she met Nazyl. She was amongst one of his party who was lost. When they arrived back to familiar grounds, Astrlle asked for magical advice, where Velala gave her some insight. An accident occurred where Astrelle needed healing and was tended to by Velala. Since then, Velala accompanied Astrelle, Nazyl and Sharon* to the Shroud where another incident occurred. Needless to say, Velala and Astrelle have come to be very close... In terms of medical aid. ● Sharon Broadaxe – Sharon is a Hyur Highlander Velala met after Astrelle had her first accident. Sharon was part of Nazyl and Astrelle's party, infact she had been the one who got the three of them lost in the Sagolii Desert to begin with. Sharon was very quick help Velala get Astrelle indoors and out of the cold desert night. The woman has a good head on her shoulders, a bit rough, but in the right place. ● Mijisaa Qisaa - Mijisaa is a Dunesfolk Lalafell who Velala met in Ul'dah. She over heard the mention of her freind Nazyl's name and turned to see that he too was there in Ul'dah. The three of them spoke briefly, Mijisaa and Velala seemed to have hit it off rather well, sharing the same interest in Alchemy. Velala doens't know Mijisaa all too well, but perhaps when she has enough gil, she'll stop by Mijisaa's store and look into buying some elegant robes.
