• Other: Valena is heavily scarred, some of it looks fresh. She has a limp on her left side.

Personality:

Valena was once over confident but since the Calamity has become unsure of herself. She can come off as short or rude to new acquaintances but is generally good-natured and loyal to those who get to know her. She can occasionally be witty and sarcastic, especially around friends.

Background

Pre-Calamity:

Lilywhite was born among the forgotten race of the Elvaan, a people now only remembered in lore. From a young age she studied magics, focusing her studies on healing and protection. She found her way in the world through giving aid to travelers, many times getting swept away on their adventures herself.

It was on one of these adventures that she met the thief, Autolycus, who regaled her with talk of his riches. One fateful day, she received a pair of rings from the young thief

Post-Calamity:

During the Battle of Carteneau Fields Valena was mortally wounded. Having already witnessed her brother's last breathe and believing herself to be dead either way, she pushed herself to fight until she could no longer raise her weapon. This plan was ruined when Dalamud exploded.

When Valena regained her senses, she found herself in her hysteric sister's arms and dying from her wounds. She was saved, but not without loosing the use of her left leg and much of her strength. Ashamed by her new weakness and mourning the death of her brother, she left Camille's care as soon as she was able.

Relationships

Friends:

• R'kyala Mahji - Valena knows her as Camille's close friend. Valena, surprisingly, enjoys her company and treats her as another sister to be protected.

Family:

• Camille Everardi - Valena's younger Half-Sister. Valena is over protective of her sister since her return from Carteneau, although they have never been close. Recently, Valena is making an effort to connect with her sister but to little effect, be it her methods or too little, too late.
• Charlotte Everardi - Mother. Seemingly knows exactly what buttons to push to work Valena into a fit. However, Valena does care for her deeply and occasionally visits.
• Octavian Verloren - Brother, deceased. Valena refuses to talk about him and any mention of him will result in her becoming distant.
• ??? Verloren - Father, deceased.
• Victor Everardi - Stepfather.

Neutral:

• Domri Blackblade - Another acquaintance through her sister. His looks are uncanny to that of an older Octavian. She has a hard time making eye contact with him. While she doesn't dislike Domri, she disapproves of Camille treating him like their deceased brother.

• Autolycus Furare - Married? It is unclear but there is documentation of a wedding between the two performed by moogles. Valena absolutely refuses to comment but can be heard occasionally cursing moogles and has been seen wearing a ring.

Affiliations:

• Order of the Stormguard - Valena is a member of the Fidelis within the Order. She offers her expertise and research abilities on relics to the Order. She originally joined under the motivation of being closer to her sister but she has also grown fond of their library.
• The Maelstrom - Currently a Second Storm Lieutenant. Valena is an active and dedicated member to The Maelstrom. It is her main source of income, but more than that it is her duty.
