Character

♦ General

Leon was initially a tribal Keeper of the Moon, until tragic events forced him to become a knight and shed the name Rewo'a Vhaaza. He was trained as a knight since he was 8 years old, leading a life of endless fighting and toil. He cares for those around him very much, to the point of being willing to risk his life for them with no hesitation, the same can be said for killing. He also suffers from a mild case of PTSD he rarely shows, and is often depressed and feels helpless beneath his veneer of chivalry and normalcy.

♦ Appearance

Leon is a regular sized Miqo'te, he has very well defined muscles due to his life of martial training. He also has a white hair, made that color due to great childhood shock, only a few black tufts of hair remain. He often wears armor, even if only a bit of chain beneath his doublet. He has tarnished gold eyes, and has vestigial tribal tattoos on his cheeks, fading as he aged.

♦ Behaviour

Leon is often known as brash and reckless, for good reason. Leon often is the first into a fight and the last one out, he fights viciously to protect those dear to him. Outside of combat situations Leon is far more playful, he often jokes at his own, or others expense. He also tends to use honorifics when dealing with people, though he may drop them after he has grown sufficiently close to someone.

Combat

Leon is a master at martial combat, due to most of his life revolved around it. His expertise is with swords , but is able to use any weapon with some degree of skill. He is also a journeyman polearm and dagger user.

Leon has lost his spear in recent incidents, and has decided to take up his longsword and claymore out of nessecity.

His combat style is one of unhesitating pressure, attempting to end it as soon as possible before his injuries become too prohibitive, this combat philosophy of his often leads to severe wounds that he has to endure with his unnatural vitality.

Leon has lived through wounds that would surely kill a normal man. Falling fifty feet and landing on a pile of scrap metal, scorched by dragonfire, and marching for two days after being poisoned and with several arrows and spear wounds. These feats attest to his greatest talent, his unyielding tenacity to keep living, so that he will be able to lay his life on the line again.

Leon is also the only survivor of the Astral Knights of Dalamud, this fact means he holds one of the few Astral Rings, which tap into the Allagan Astral Array. This allows him to use powerful spells from the Third Astral Era, but the system has been damaged over the years, leading to the system almost damaging the user when they use the spells.

Friends ● Brynhilde Wulf – He looks up to Bryn, he knows she has been through a lot in her life, and yet she carries a heavier burden than he has ever known and doesn't seem to break stride, she is one of the few sources of inspiration for Leon. ● 💗 X'Septha Dhen – Leon initially saw Septha as just another person who had a bad lot in life. Over time he realized she had suffered a good deal more than himself, and wanted to help her. This led to his incessant teasing of her, but despite that he is willing to give his life to protect her. Leon, ignited by a jest on Septha's part, has jokingly established her as the princess he would save from a tower guarded by a dragon, which he says are of her own make. Leon can't pinpoint when and where, but over time he fell head over heels for her. He only realized it when Bryn told him. ● Bertrand Irons – Leon respects Bertrand, not only for his age, but because he is also a chirurgeon. Leon also has a tendency to ignore Bertrand's playful advances on him, but is always amused by them. ● Reima Awen – Leon sees Reima as weak, naive, and innocent. And often relies or looks to her when times are bleak, reminding him of why he fights, renewing his resolve. (Essentially a passive cheerleader.) ● Brave Horizon – Leon initially saw Brave as just an upstart who was out for fame. He quickly changed that view when she saved his life in a battle against a Voidsent, ever since he has come to respect her and tries to repay the debt.

Acquaintances ● Draco Nobis – Leon doesn't know much at all about Draco, aside from the man's achievements and strict moral code. Leon looks up to him due to his conduct and amount of time as a knight. Draco also reminds Leon of his best friend and commander. ● Flickering Ember – Leon cares for Ember, not so much because of closeness, but because he sees her as a helpless animal, and his will to protect her was only strengthned when she was brutally tortured in his absence. ● Arcian Martell – Leon has had a few conversations with Arcian, even so he trusts her due to previous endeavor fighting against a mutual enemy, and because she is very close to Brave. Overall Leon has no problems with Arcian, just does not interact with her too often. ● Jayson Cross – Leon has talked with Jay a few times, most of them not very long. Even so, Leon knows Jay is a good person and someone he can trust. From time to time he also relies on Jay for information. ● S'ereno Tia – They met in a rather uneventful manner, and Leon had his doubts about Reno. Due to the man's attire and attitude, Leon though him a hedonistic lout with not much else about him. Soon Leon corrected himself, he realized that S'ereno was a wise and good man, despite outward appearances. Leon respects the man, if only annoyed by his antics and forceful nature. ● Kail Gerrad – Leon met Kail in his usual escapades with the Aeon Free Company. Initially he just thought Kail a half-drunk man who had a knack for daggers. It didn't take too long for Leon to see that Kail was actually a productive member of society, he values Kail's skills and initiative for helping the Free Company. Enemies & Rivals ● None for now
