H A B I T S  &  S K I L L S Quirks/Vices ■ Dark Skin -- People with dark skin colours automatically attract his attention. ■ Flirts -- From innuendo's to distracting movements, Ranic can be very easily distracted by flirtatious attitudes. ■ Pain -- Whether in combat, or in the bedroom, certain levels of pain either invoke the good kind of lust, or the bloody kind of lust. ■ Small girls -- Whilst not exactly Lalafellian, Ranic does enjoy petite women. Abilities/Skills ■ Expert Axeman -- From Battleaxes to Hatchets, a good Axe in Ranics hand is as deadly as another. ■ Incredible Willpower -- It seems in combat, Ranic just cannot be felled... It's when he leaves the battlefield do his allies begin to worry about him. ■ Damaging Aura -- Whilst he doesn't quite understand it, under certain conditions his Aetheric pool begins to manifest outside around of him, damaging friend and foe alike in harsh whipping winds. He'd study it further, but he is usually lost to the blood lust by the time it comes around.

■ Spirituality/Religion. Ranic believes in the myth of the Dusk Mother and Dusk Father, although he doesn't see them as anything more than silent watchers.

A P P E A R A N C E

■ Body: Ranics body is littered in many, many scars and disfigurements. The vast majority of the scars are punctures around his torso, slashes around his joints, and burns sporadically around his body. ■ Skin: Ranics skin is a deathly pale white. He seems to blush red, bruise in a light blue colour, and bleeds red. ■ Hair: Ranic has a dirty white hair colour, usually kept tied back into a ponytail of some sorts. ■ Eyes: Ranic has a piercing red-eyed stare as his resting face. Some have compared it to Garlean red eyes, or in more extreme cases a demonic red. The left eye is a tattered and mesh of stitched together skin that was once his eyelid. With how the stitching has brought the eyelid into the empty space where his eye was, there is a dark shadow over his left eye.

■ Clothes: Ranic tends to favour open shirts, or loose clothing when relaxing. If armoured, Ranic wears a suit similar to 'the' Warrior set' ■ Jewelry: Ranic has filed down his pointed horns to make them considerably less lethal in more relaxed environments. To keep their naturally sharp appearance, he wears silver points on the end of his horns. ■ Distinguishing Features: As one of the tallest and muscular Au Ra, Ranic has quite the intimidating presence. ■ Other: Ranics spaded tail is usually held firmly to his leg, or whips about sharply behind him if agitated.

R E L A T I O N S   Nailah Quill (  ♥  ●  ✔) - Ponytail / Boss Lady / Nai Nailah was amongst the very first Eorzeans that Ranic met, and has been with him through all of his trials and troubles ever since. He see's Nailah as a very damaged and broken soul, yet always ready to give of herself without ever wanting to receive in turn. It's this steadfast companionship that draws Ranic to her, and although he knows she won't ever settle with a companion, he'll always remain by her side so long as she'll have him. It grows close to a year since Nailah and Ranic first met, and alathough he knows he is much closer than most, he still knows she hides much from him, and he has a long way to go before her walls will come down fully.   Cirina Malqir (  ♥  ●  ✔) - Ciri After finding Cirina in a dive bar whilst on a search for the Iriq tribe, she took to his company quite easily and soon joined the company he was in thereafter. Cirina's quiet and innocent nature makes her widely liked and respected in the Kindred, so much so that she's become one of the guiding council in the Kindred alongside him. He thinks she still has a lot to learn, with both experience and learning to guide with her heart and her head as one instead of two seperate entities. Still, he's happy to guide her to her goal, even if he finds her naivety gets in the way sometimes. It's a well known secret that Cirina loves both Sarangerel and himself, and long for the pair of them to enter into a relationship between the three. Ranic would be happy to oblige, but he knows it's not in Sarangerels nature. He's happy to pretend to Cirina that it's a possible goal, but he knows it's a pipe dream.   Sarangerel Kahkol (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Kahkol / Saran Sarangerel and Ranic have been at odds ever since they met one another. For moons on end Ranic has been trying to get Sarangerel to calm her more elitest and bigotted ways to almost no avail. Yet as time has worn on, her pointed edges have smoothed over to a more comfortable and rounded surface. Her fiery nature and her steadfast opinions have always earned her some respect, even if it seemed like nothing but bitter hatred. It's a well known secret that Cirina loves both Sarangerel and himself, and long for the pair of them to enter into a relationship between the three. Ranic would be happy to oblige, but he knows it's not in Sarangerels nature. In an effort to keep their truce and foster some closeness, Ranic does try to go out of his way to be overly friendly and familiar with her, even if he feels that she's not all too receptive to it.   W'gahr Lupercal (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Luper / Luperlicious Ranic has no idea just what on Hydaelynn makes Luper the Cat tick, but quite frankly? If it works for the Cat, he's not one to question it. Always there with a smile on his face, and ready to serve drinks at a moments notice, Ranic finds Luper a good friend to have... Even if he doesn't exactly know how much trust to put into him. It's been close to a cycle since the two first met, and although he's still no closer to understanding the cat, he does feel considerable pride when he remembers that it was his suggestion to promote Luper despite the cats reluctance that probably helped the man grow as much as he has.   Toukta Kahkol (  ♥  ●  ✔) - Tictac Toukta is the beloved younger Brother of Sarangerel, and where Sarangerel was a spiked ball of hatred, Toukta was a fluffy ball of cuddling. Providing the majority of food for the Kindred through hunting, Ranic finds he has little time to spend with Toukta, even if the time he does spend with the man is relatively enjoyable.   Kaila (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Ivy / Auntie Ivy Insert Kaila text here   Ophelia Gale (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Phi / Niamh The younger sister to Nailah Quill, Ranic has a certain soft spot for this particular Highlander. It seems that being broken is a trait that runs in the bloodline, and just as Ranic tries to help Nailah, he'll be there for the smaller Quill just as much, even if sometimes he feels like he walks on eggshells with her delicate sensibilities.   Reinhardt Ironhand (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Rein One of the former council members for the Kindred and long standing friends of Nailah, Ranic struggles to find any understanding as to why Reinhardt is as highly regarded as he is. With the man barely showing his face, and having little physical presence, he doesn't rate Reinhardt all that highly...   Aliandrielle Naveleal (  ♥  ●  ✔) - Little Monster / Alia It came as no surprise when a foul mouthed, blunt, and vicious fighter came to the Kindred that Ranic would take to them like a duck takes to water. Near inseparable when they get together, Ranic finds he has a lot of fondness for this rough and tough Elezen, and has likely been seen a few times in public sharing an intimate kiss or two. Though they shared a brief but enjoyable relationship, Ranic thought it best to part ways with her until circumstances were kinder to the pair.   Dat (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Sin/Kagon Insert Dat text here.   Sechen Hotgo (  ♥  ●  ✖) - Sech Ranics former lover. Fiesty, fierce, and formidable, she was everything that Ranic wanted in not only a friend but in a lover. The two quickly fell in love, and were even trying for a child at one point. Being a Hotgo however, the sorrow of losing her tribe left her seeking vengeance against the Dotharl, who in turn sought vengeance against her. Ranic found her broken and mangled corpse in the snows of Coerthas, and although the ground was frozen solid, he made sure she had a proper burial.   Vyncent Fields (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Mophead / Vynce When people talk of Elezen arrogance, they can only describe it in a way that reminds Ranic of Vyncent. Although Vyncent tries to appear benevolent and nice, he knows the man plays with his cards close to his chest and as a result, Ranic doesn't put all too much trust into the white haired former Garlean. Although as of late, Ranic has found that the man tries to appear more and more benevolent. Whether this is just for show, or a side of Vyncent that Ranic was unaware of, Ranic still keeps the man at arms length.   Yesui Jhungid (  ♥  ●  ✔) - Yesui Although of the Jhungid tribe, one of Ranics most loathed tribes, Ranic has found quite a lot of respect for this particular Jhungid. Seemingly not holding to her heritage all too much, and accepting the ways of the Kindred Company, he has a lot of time for this particular Xaela. After she seemed to pass on his advances however in favour of someone she had only just met, Ranic does find that he doesn't hold her as highly as he used to, and would likely be very skeptical should she try to grow close to him again.   Inran Sas Skarain (  ♠  ●) - Sas Skarain Ranic formerly spied upon the Garleans for the Moks tribe when the Garlean Occupation of Othard spanned across the entire continent, and in his short time in service to the Garlean war machine, he distinguished himself as a competent strategist and warrior. Earning the title and name Pyr Securis, Ranic was placed under the direction of Inran Sas Skarain who would see that the Xaela would be in charge of the Auri slaves. When the Auri exodus to Eorzea went into full swing, the Garleans attempted to transfer a lot of critical tribal information to the Eorzean Legions, of which Ranic chose to break his cover to make sure it never reached its end destination. Inran Sas Skarain apparantly survived Ranics attempted murder, and as such Ranic feels it's his duty to finish what he started.   Kri'sie Crimson'ion (  ♠  ●) - Pae'a Insert Kri text here   Hayzell (  ♠  ●) - Nai Insert Hayzell Text here   O'ray Tia (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Ray A cocky little cat with no real reason as far as Ranic can see to back up his boastful attitude. If Ray would simply set his mind to something and stick at it, him and Ranic would get along fine, but so long as the cat focuses solely on trying to get a rise out of people, then Ranic will continue to try and stomp him down at every turn.   Maariya Genhu (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Maari / Paladin A cat with a holier than thou attitude borrowed from the Roegadyn Sultansworn, and a tongue borrowed from the Ishgardian nobility, Ranic finds this particular cat to be lacking a personality of her own aside from where her love life is concerned. After a rather quick marriage, Ranic has seen less and less of her, and when he does she appear she is simply her Paladin persona and nothing more. Ranic is of the belief that if a job with friendlier faces and a similar wage turned up, Maariya would leave in an instant and as such he does not truly consider her Kindred outsider of her loyalties to her pay, likely a side effect of her Ul'dahn heritage.   Kaitlyn Quickstep (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Kait The lover of Maariya, and seemingly inseperable from her hip. Ranic doesn't see all that much of Kaitlyn now that those two have become bonded, and although he once thought of her as a flirty and fun personality, he hasn't really seen her talk all that much to anyone that isn't Maariya. He thinks he's getting the wrong impression of her, but so far he's not seen much to combat this wrong impression either. Similar to Maariya, he has not seen much of Kaitlyn since they bonded and should a similar job with friendlier faces and a similar wage appear, he believes Kaitlyn would leave the Kindred in a heartbeat.   Mauh'a Relehna (  ♥  ●  ✔) - Vachir Text here for Mauh   Tsenxer Qulaan (  ♦  ●  ✔) - Tsen / Qulaani Tsenxer is the epitome of a child to Ranic, young, defiant, and vulnerably inexperienced. Although he cares for this particular Xaela, he feels that if he shows her any sort of leniency or a softer touch, she'll only get herself into trouble somehow. . ✖ P L A Y E R   I N F O ✖ ❇ I've spent many years roleplaying across many different games and platforms. These include but are not limited to: Starbound, Wildstar, Elder Scrolls Online, World of Warcraft, Forum based RP and many more. I try to incorporate as many people as I can into my RP, and feel particularly bad if someone does not feel part of the 'group' that I am roleplaying in, however because of how inclusive I like to be, I do not tolerate RP or personalities that conflict with the group. Group cohesion is very important to me, so if I am ruining the atmosphere I expect people to let me know immediately, but I would also do the same to others which has been known to cause conflicts. ❇ For Combat in Roleplay:: I much prefer free form, but will settle for rolls if pressed. I like specific emotes that describe where peoples limbs are at, and the weight behind all strikes or movements. I appreciate that this is fantasy and characters can be super speedy or athletic, but I also like to appreciate realism and as such most hits that come Ranics way will hit. All strikes have lasting effects on my characters, so limb and organs that are damaged are more often than not permanently afflicted thereafter. ❇ Concerning Romance RP:: Ranic is promiscuous but has clearly defined tastes and as such he will not ERP with anyone for the sake of ERP unless there is adequate reasoning for him to do so. If entering into a relationship with Ranic, I will expect to know this person quite well OOCly due to the personal and emotional ties that Ranic will develop, and I would rather not RP a saddened Ranic due to someone randomly losing interest in the game or RP. ❇ I HAVE ZERO INTEREST IN A DUMBLR SJW RP SOCIETY.
