General Information Livia prefers to know others than be known herself. While seldom outright lying, she has perfected the art of being deliberately misleading. She often seems crass, disorganized and unpredictable- even outright volatile, but has occasionally shown herself to be deliberate. Ultimately she is swayed far more by the promise of an interesting outcome than a good one, which contributes to her reputation for causing disorder. At her best, she is welcoming, friendly, and entertaining. Simultaneously, she is severe and favors extreme approaches while placing little bearing on the morality of her decisions. Often impulsive, Livia frequently finds herself trying to clean up the messes she causes. Livia has a remarkable talent for withstanding a beating and will often be back on her feet immediately after taking serious hits. Her stamina is the most notable characteristic of hers in combat. She prefers to resolve her wounds independently and will tend to herself privately after combat. Her intense and ridiculous sense of pride prevents her from just about ever seeking aid, even if she is being irrational, because she worries that it risks portraying her as weak and dependent. She is largely prone to distraction, heavily self-interested, and extremely present-oriented. ❝ To be happy, we must not be too concerned with others - Albert Camus ❞ Appearance Hair & Eyes Her snowy white hair falls just below her shoulders, often pulled back to keep from being a nuisance in combat. Because most of her coloring is muted, her poppy red eyes stand out starkly among her other features. Physique & Markings Her build is toned, reflecting extensive usage of her weapon of choice. She bears surprisingly few scars for someone as inclined toward violence as she is. Holding a general distaste for scars, many of hers have been removed. She has held onto a significant scar over her ribs out of a uncharacteristic sentimentality. For some time, she had carried a scar across her face from where she had taken a slash by a broken bottle, but that has since faded to little more than a barely visible marking over the past few moons. Hygiene & Attire Livia favors always being prepared for combat and that is reflected in her choice of clothing. She seldom is dressed in a way that could restrict her movement, and often can be found wearing some degree of armor if found outside her home. Her tastes are not quite refined, and sometimes she may choose to dress inappropriately. While her hygiene is typically well tended to, it may be neglected if she is overly invested in work she views to be important. Personality Psychological Profile INTJ. The Architect. A paradox to most observers, Architects are able to live by glaring contradictions that nonetheless make perfect sense – at least from a purely rational perspective. For example, Architects are simultaneously the most starry-eyed idealists and the bitterest of cynics, a seemingly impossible conflict. But this is because Architect personalities tend to believe that with effort, intelligence and consideration, nothing is impossible, while at the same time they believe that people are too lazy, short-sighted or self-serving to actually achieve those fantastic results. Livia was born in Aleport to Marigold and Jonas Crane. She was raised just outside what would later become Summerford on an orchard. With both parents working as local physicians and conjurors, Livia comes from an upper middle class background. After living in Summerford for 5 summers, Livia went missing. After that, her history becomes obscured.

Childhood Aleport and Summerford Livia was born in Aleport and lived there until she was 5 summers old. Her family relocated to the outskirts of what would later become Summerford. Livia's brother attended the local school, but she herself was homeschooled and seldom outside Livia went missing at 10 summers old.

Livia’s relationship with Anaguma was strained early on since Livia drugged him for information and managed to avoid discipline for it. He knows how to irritate her, and while she has had fun brawling with him, she enjoys his company and trusts him to a certain extent, which is more than she can say for almost any other relationship she has. Ahzra'li Lhomi, The Hunter. ( ♦ $ ) - Reclusive Stranger Livia's Thoughts: "I've seen Ahzra'li a couple times, usually with Marcus. Seems stoic, but I think deep down he's a little timid." Livia hasn't had much time with Ahzra'li, but recently he was he target of much of her ire in an event where he kept a steady head and Livia did not. She acknowledges he was not at fault and feels some remorse for her behavior. Atlan Himaa, The Surgeon. ( ♦ $ ) - Troubled Medic Livia's Thoughts: "This Xaela is a decent person who keeps finding less than decent people to associate with." Livia knows a little of Atlan's past and thinks bad luck just seems to follow him. He was electrocuted on her behalf once, so she assumes that means they're friends now. She is also indebted to him for assisting her in maintaining stamina over multiple days while searching for Dovienya when she was missing and presumed dead. Biast Basiliscus, The Addict. ( ♦ � $ ) - Fragile Engineer Livia's Thoughts: "He's a weak man, succumbed to a substance addiction that dominates his attention. Easily pliable, debatably reliable." Livia is gentler with Biast than she is with most people. She sees no issue with continuing to supply him with substances while keeping him busy because she favors monitoring his usage rather than having him risk complications from withdrawal. Cierra Borlaaq, The Huntress. ( ♦ $ ) - Collected Swordswoman Livia's Thoughts: "Cierra is strong minded. Her inflexibility may break her if under enough pressure.." Cierra correctly intuited that Livia and Dovienya were involved when Livia was still trying to keep that information quiet. After speaking candidly about their relationships, Cierra agreed to use discretion and Livia was thankful for that. The two went on an outing to try and retrieve Dovienya's axe to study, and Livia found Cierra to be a professional and reliable companion. Livia has since felt strain on their relationship due to the woman’s adversarial position on whether Tsarnai’s background should be brought into question. Cemi Jinfeh, The Chemist. ( ♦ $ ) - Pint Sized Idealist Livia's Thoughts: "I hear Cemi is a drug addict herself, but trying to wean the Garlean off of somnus. She seems sweet and delicate." Livia has known Cemi for a long time, but barely spoken with her. She felt intense remorse after Cemi was nearly killed on the only personal mission Livia had requested after she had become a Courtier. The last they spoke Dovienya had instructed Cemi to tend to Livia’s wounds after combat, and Livia refused. She later felt ashamed at her lack of restraint in berating Dovienya in front of her. Charlant Bastoix, The Alchemist. ( ♦ $ ) - Silver Tongued Serpent Livia's Thoughts: "Charlant is a reliable and skilled alchemist with enough charm to put even the sauciest courtesans to shame." Charlant supplied Livia with a generous amount of potions early on in their relationship. She views him as a confusing and enjoyable presence in her life, as well as a discreet alchemist who will humor her without asking questions for the right price. Dalmar Fererra, The Brawler. ( ♦ $ ) - Young Misguided Stray Livia's Thoughts: "I trust Delmort to finish what he starts. He seems to take his job seriously, if little else." Livia appreciates Dalmar's sense of duty and his sense of morality. She finds him mature for his age, but enjoys pushing his buttons because unlike him, she is not mature for her age. Dovienya Cuenn, Solace. ( ღ ∞ $ ) - Livia's Pulse Livia's Thoughts: "Reckless, conniving, manipulative, cruel. But there's not a soul who can give me the peace that she does." Livia and Dovienya have a complex relationship. Livia was initially paranoid in their relationship once she suspected the woman was looking into her background, prompting her to drug Anaguma for answers after he had flaunted that he knew where she grew up. After the introduction of a childhood acquaintance of hers to the court, Livia insulted Dovienya by trying to buy her off to keep her quiet about who she was around the man, and breaking her link pearl when the woman refused to put a price on her loyalty. Livia eventually apologized and the two grew to know each other much better. They have since grown very close, though Livia keeps just about the entirety of their relationship private. Madeleine Lanverlais, The Archer. ( ♦ $ ) - Crooked Adder Livia's Thoughts: "Madeleine is questionably dependable. Keep her away from matches." Livia was skeptical about Madeleine at first due to her continued association with the Adders. She has since come around to enjoying the woman's gall. She finds her brazen and tenacious, if not slightly irresponsible. Marcus Feral, The Captain. ( ♦ $ ) - Rapacious Businessman Livia's Thoughts: "Marcus is...professional." Marcus admitted Livia into the court as an extra hand. She drugged and robbed him soon after. She enjoyed frustrating him in particular, but is now is struggling with how to un-do the damage she did to their relationship. She harbors mixed feelings toward him due to her involvement with Dovienya. Tempest Fey, The Siren. ( ♦ $ ) - Foul Tempered Enchantress Livia's Thoughts: "Mean. Mean mean mean." Tempest was there with Marcus when Livia was admitted to the court, and her first task was organizing Tempest's books. She did a poor job. Livia probably likes her a little more for Tempest having slapped her once since she's the only person Livia has acknowledged as having held her accountable for her actions. Tsarnai Borlaaq, The Faceless. ( ♦ $ ) - Corrupted Infiltrator Livia's Thoughts: "Tsarnai, Pandora, Moks, Borlaaq, Voss. Who is she?" Livia has been apprehensive about Tsarnai since learning she had hidden her identity and posed as a midlander for the first few moons they knew each other. That she was born a Moks makes Livia suspect she may have been reporting to her clan on sensitive information. Vado Mercier, The Engineer. ( ♦ $ ) - Overzealous Engineer Livia's Thoughts: "Vado does a lot of work for the Court. Doesn't always seem to carry his stress well. I think he's more sensitive than he'd lead others to believe." Livia met Vado when they were out drinking, and in his drunken state, he tried to remove her mask. She knocked him out and beat him up. She is also responsible for his drowning. After he had implied she had no concern for anyone but herself, the two fought and Vado inadvertently electrocuted Atlan instead of her. Though they were broken up, they still haven't quite resolved their differences.
